Hi guys. I have flown on "Ruby Tuesday" a couple of times to New York. On Business and First class, never disappointed.
Also, I remember arriving at Orlando and meeting my sister and her pal, flown in from Dallas.
Nick, it's quite scary getting into a strange vehicle and driving to a villa, when you are not exactly sure where it is located. Well done.
Like you, our first stop was the supermarket, but not Walmart, LOL.....Have a MOST WONDERFUL HOLIDAY... Love xxx.

Great start to your Florida vlogs. We were very surprised that the Virgin flight you took to Orlando was half empty. Great meal and snack on the plane. Great looking room in your rented Villa. Nick and you, looked very excited when shopping at Wal-Mart. Hope you two got a good night sleep/rest from your long day of travelling.

absolutely brilliant, can't believe how empty the plane was. I'm watching with my earphones in and as you were talking and the sound of the plane, I called Ash over to show her, and made her and Roxi jump out of their skin, she said why are you screaming, can't stop laughing. Glad you arrived safe and sound. Come to think of it, when Ash and I fly home we now will have to fly to Manchester I think, because there are no more directs to Birmingham....so will be checking all the airlines for best flights, but I do love Virgin, used to fly them all the time before they stopped going to Brum. I’ve only taken trans-Atlantic flights once, and I was 17 when I went over and 18 when I came back. We flew from Dulles airport in Washington DC to the Amsterdam airport, and returned the same way in reverse. Since that was 1974, planes were not as big as the one you were on, and there certainly were no video screens in front of every seat. So it was a vastly different experience. Your flight looks like it was enjoyable, though of course that trip from Europe to the US makes for a very long day, as you well know. By the way, those packages of a dozen different kinds of cheesecake are usually bought for parties, at least in my experience, so it’s not as over-the-top as it might appear. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing your adventures in Orlando over the next couple of weeks!

It will be interesting to see if wearing a mask on the plane to Orlando helps with catching colds. I say Orlando because I don't know anyone who hasn't gotten sick within 48 hours of landing there. Myself included. As a result of the pandemic I've managed to talk hubby into a two week trip to Orlando in the first January we feel it is safe to go. In the meantime I fall asleep dreaming of that future trip. Mmmm frozen Butterbeer (even if it's freezing), Mmmmm Dole Whip (ditto), Ahhhh Harry Potter merch. Zzzzz, who needs sheep.

Grab an app called Net Share install it on all your device pay on one and the rest use net share to connect its dead easy once youve played with it on lets say Starbucks wifi to test it

We downloaded the Pro version of "net share" from the apps store, paid on one device and allowed all our other devices to channel it via the app on the paid for device

Out of curiosity I'm looking at going in 2020 and hiring a car, you say you pre booked. My question is even though you pre booked, was a credit card required/requested at the rental desk?
we checked in online before we arrived we didn't even go to the check in desk we went straight to the garage and collected a car, they said pick one from this row, so we did (the biggest lol) so as well as that we got a free upgrade. when you check in online you give them your card details but don't have to deal with pushy desk clerks
@@TheLodgeGuys not meaning to be nosey, but was it a Visa debit card or credit card you used, I'm trying to get as much info before hand so I know what options are available if I can't get hire car as I only have a prepay credit card
it has to be a credit card, the problem with a prepay card is it locks some of the funds for a few weeks so they can't be spent
