    A very good one to watch !! I just flew with Virgin atlantic this past summer from / to L.A.X & L.H.R. In De Light class & premium economy class & my seat in premium was the 1st row there ,so I had an extra leg room which I really didn't need as I am short 😅 But ,like you said I didn't need to ask people to move for me to get up & use the laboratory. But,putting my" under seat " hand luggage up/ down using the overhead compartment was pain in the a s s !! Lol. Although a flight attendant helped me very nicely w/ no hesitation ,even rather volunteered ! Hats off to him !! 👏 👍👍But,I found it a bit hard / inconvenient to take things out right before landing ( for my ear pressure issues ,needed to take sour candies out of my hand luggage, they gave me a hard time ,tried to prevent me from doing so as it was 20 minutes before landing ! ) 😫😅Which I did successfully despite ! But,it stressed me out !! So, you'd better be prepared w/ everything beforehand !! I thought I was ! I got my ear plugs & other necessity on hand ,but I thought it was o.k.to take out my candies before landing ( as long as 20 to 30 minutes prior ) !! It wasn't the case !! Many people try yarn ,or chew gums ,or blowing a nose those don't much to prevent ,or stop ear aches !! Try ear plugs & push your ears tighter from behind & suck sour ,or spicy candies at the same time ( to induce more salaiva to swallow, that'll help you to open up your ears ! ) !! 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞

    I always try and get either the bulkhead seat or the last row. The last row allows you to keep your seat reclined even during the meal service and there is nobody behind you. Also, I’m always super nice to the flight attendants.

    Thanks for the tips in this video. My hubby and I are flying SEA to LHR round trip in premium in August. Good to know about check in and luggage getting priority. Thx!

    Did like the trick that if going for an aisle seat, go for the middle section on the premise that others on the row may be in a group and thus head to the other aisle to get out. Also good to understand that window bulkhead seats are not ahead of middle section bulkhead thereby risk of greater nose from galley or toilets

    Im going to be trying VS for the first time and flying in PE next month. Normally we fly with BA since we live near a BA connection to LHR, but VS is going to work out a bit cheaper on this occasion and travel agents can book "thru" tickets.

      I'm flying VA Premium from IAD to London next February in route to Zurich. Any tips there?
      I was debating between premium and upper class and I didn't like the outdated layout of the upper class seats, they're quite narrow and sometimes you could be eating food at your tray table and see the persons dirty shoes or socks next to you while they're in lie flat. That plus the fact that it cost 1/3 the airline miles to redeem premium vs UC, it was a no-brainer for me. Its a day flight as well.

    How is the 25k last row in premium economy with the bulkhead behind me? Will my seat recline all the way? I looked at the map and they have 23h and 23k as preferred preferred sitting.

    I think people who are a couple sitting in the middle section in 2 3 2 configuration are sitting next to each other ,though !!? Lol. Either way ,it's best to sit on the aisle side if you're a person who needs to get up often ! Yet,the seat in the middle of the middle section are the safest seats in the positions in case of an accident ! Lol. 💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️💞

    If you can select seats when you book, but then it also says bulk head seats are assigned at check-in? Is it not possible to select front bulkhead seats at booking?

    • @DoorsToAuto
      @DoorsToAuto  5 месяцев назад +1

      No. The bulkhead seats are only available at the airport.

      @@DoorsToAuto would you advise booking a seat, further back, online, and then still trying to upgrade to a bulkhead by maybe checking in incredibly early? I'm sort of hoping they will pity me as I'm 6'4" tall.

      I’d recommend booking an aisle seat in advance, so at least you have some room to manoeuvre. Then ask about bulkheads at the airport. They only allocate them in advance for those with babies or those who need the space for medical reasons. But that doesn’t seem to be that often in my experience.
