I remember when I had my hamster (Rest In Peace), I used to feet her cheerios as a little treat. While doing so she accidentally bit my finger. Dude, hamster teeth can bite down hard! When I screamed in pain, she jumped back and wore a face that said, “What have I done…” That’s my best memory of her.
My cat will only eat food if
-he’s fed by certain people
-it has to be 5 minutes fresh or he won’t eat
-it has to be 2 brands
And my ferrets 😬
-they have to have their food immediately ready to eat when I wake up
-they are 100% meat exept raw eggs and they have bowls with stuff attached to the cage so they can’t throw their bowls around and somehow they still get their bowls out?!?! And they tip it upside down but ONLY if they have eggs 😅
I was bit by my red foot tortoise (RIP) from hand feeding her. the minute she bit down I yelped (not very loudly) she looked confused then realized and slowly looked up at me with that sorry look in her eyes.

I once had this great cat. She was a quite old black cat named Gabby. And i lived in a trailer and had a propane heater for warmth and Gabby loved laying down infront of the heater where id often lay down behind her petting her shoulder as we relax and enjoy the heat. But once she decided to get back scratches instead and stood up and did the typical circle in a spot to force the human to scratch exactly where the cat wants. She ended up singing the fur on her rump as it brushed against the hot metal of the heater. She was completely unharmed outside angrily meowing at me as i quickly got her away from the heater. But i gave her some more pets including her favorite neck scratches.
the first one is heartwarming, the goat was upset his favourite trampoline was broken, but was very happy to not only get a new trampoline, but also a new slide.

My now late dog Amy loved TimTams, which are Australian chocolate biscuits with chocolate cream between them and then the entire thing is coated in melted chocolate, so something dogs should not be eating but when she did get a tiny piece every once in a while she was happy

My sister and I remember that our lion head rabbit Buckwheat had quite the addiction to strange things like drywall,candy canes, and crackers. I even remember how he stole a candy cane from the Christmas tree and ate it. Silly boy.

Once when I was a kid we found a great horned owl with its leg trapped in our chicken coop. He stripped the paint off the boards where his wings hit as he tried to get away. The animal recovery center said he was released back into the wild a few weeks later after he recovered.

When my dog was just a little puppy, we let her outside for the first time and she chased some bees and got them in her mouth! She did not want to put them down even though they were stinging her. We finally won her over with some treats but that was one weird adventure for her.

My precious Corgi-Inu has got me trained. Me: Gives treat to dog. Dog: looks down at it-looks at me. Me: takes back, gives couple chews & gives back. Dog: Eats then looks at me like thought we covered this.

I had a cat that loved to chew on/eat banana peels , when I asked the vet if it was bad for him . She asked if he seemed ok, when I said yes, she replied evidently not. Also had a cat that would get high on /absolutely loved green olives.

About a decade ago, I had a rabbit who ate almost any inanimate objects she got her claws on. TV remote buttons, wires, candles, paper and even exposed wall plaster. She survived a very long time, though. Rescued in 2006 at an unknown age and died in 2013.
You sure she wasn't part goat? Rabbits are awesome. I had a male and female once, and the male got out and headed into the creek behind our house, and I figured sadly I'd never seem him again. But the next day, he came back to be with the female, I found him sitting a few feet from the cage, and he let me pick him up and put him back in. "Wove...twue wove..." (Extra points if you get that reference.)

My last 3 dogs have loved frozen brussels sprouts (not thawed). My current one likes ANY frozen (or unfrozen) veg, including lettuce.
A Pigeon thumped into a window next to me at work one day, and left an image of itself, wings outspread. It fell to the ground, stunned. It recovered a few minutes later, the pigeon image remained until the next rain washed it away.
My dog is sooo picky. She won’t eat her kibble until she’s pretty much starving or it has meat juice on it. I always tell her “ you know, a lot of dogs get exited to eat their kibble. “ lol 😂
My dog also hates her kibble

I had a Great Dane that was my Mini-Me. She would eat/share everything I did. All except for one thing.
When I would order pizza 🍕 I would generally let her have up to about a slice, after the humans were done eating. Hilariously, I discovered that there was one topping that she absolutely would not eat.
I would call her over and offer her a piece of pizza. She would take the slice, gently in her mouth, take a few steps set it down, face-up. At this point she barely steps on the crust and then proceeds, ever so gently, to bite the individual pieces of green olives 🫒 and strip them off of the slice. After every piece of green is put into little pile, she would then devour the actual pizza slice in 1-2 bites.
This removal of olives 🫒 with the precision of a surgeon by using her teeth 🦷 was just incredible.
Especially from a Great Dane that could spot, grab and swallow a ground squirrel 🐿 whole in the same amount of time that it took me to spot, process, say no and tug on the very short 3' leash.

Ooh, if you're wondering, the bird feeder at 10:43 is a Yankee Flipper. They're know for being one of the better anti-squirrel bird-feeders, but they're still not entirely squirrel-proof. A particularly intelligent squirrel could disengage the lid and drop the feeder to the ground.

I had a weirdo cat who loved dry spaghetti. He had this bizarre ritual for eating it. He would anchor it down with his paws, then use his nose to snap it in half. Next he would do the same thing to the 2 halves making quarters. Then he would eat three of the quarters, then drop the last one into the nearest air vent. I've had about 10 cats over the years, but this one was the most oddly behaving cat I've ever seen.

Had to go STRAIGHT to the vet with her in the middle of the night.
The vet stitched her back up & said there was NO way she could get THOSE sutures out.
1.5w later they were all gone again. But this time it had healed enough to let it be. No need to take them out, she somehow got those TIGHT knobs opened with her teeth..

I found the sutures later around the house & it was clear she actually got the knot opened & then she pulled out the thread.. she didn't just chew the thread off as you might think..

Me too my family rescued a dog named peanut from and abusive family with two Rottweilers who would beet him up he was mostly blind and deaf and we asked the neighbors if we could have him after learning about his situation from my neighbors she picked him up and handed him over without a second thought we found a great groomer who was willing to clean him up his entire bottom half was covered in poop and he was a Pomeranian he had two have his teeth pulled because they were all rotting and he loved being outside on windy days sitting in the grass and having the wind blow through his fur rip we will never forget you my beloved peanut

@Noah Noah It is a omnivores species of bird eating small insects, seed and other plants. It would never eat eggs in the wild like some other birds, but the only reason it does is because we have fed it egg from a young age. When we rescued it at 1 day old it was literally like a piece of skin and bone, so moshed egg and baby food powder was the best option to get the bird to grow and get stronger quickly. Now the bird leaves in the morning and only comes back at night so it is more dependent, but it still always enjoys it egg treat.👍😀

At my parents house we found out that our oldest Pug (Wilma) likes beer and not wine. My parents were drinking while enjoying the pool, suddenly Wilma went all sneaky lil piggy and took a sip from their cups, she literally looked at me like: Geez that purple thing is bad! And then she managed to sip from their beer and looked at me with a smile 🤦♂️🤣

My previous dog ate carrots, cucumber, apple and lots of other things. I tried avoiding giving too much non-dogfood. Especially stuff that's toxic to dogs. My personal opinion is that it's okay to treat your dog as long as you are relatively sure it isn't harmful. And not too much of course.

My favorite animal was the spinning squirrel. That just made me laugh my vocal cords out.
My dad shared everything he ate with our dog. She was not picky at all, she was about 18 when she died
I used to have a Anglo-Nubian goat wether (castrated male) who had a wicked set of horns as a result of his days as a commercial trekking goat (pack goat). They leave the horns on because that's the goat's method of self-defense if a predator should come strolling down the trail. Anyway, he would occasionally go weapons-free with those bad boys only to find himself in pool noodle detention. He hated pool noodles. He didn't like the extra weight on his head. It got to where all I had to do if he started up with the horns was to tell him "bad goats get pool noodles" and he'd settle right down. He incurred injuries as a pack goat and the cartilage in one shoulder started breaking down which is how I came to have him in his retirement. I gave him a couple of really good years before him going to the great pasture in the sky. He was approximately 13 years old, which for a goat is very old.

I also used to have a dog who thought green peas were God's Gift to Dogs, too. He liked peas and pickles but not at the same time. He'd purse his lips up and start sucking the peas out of his dish one by one. I never knew dogs could purse their lips until then but apparently they can.
I currently have a cat who loves his morning coffee, too. He prefers it black with no cream or sugar. I only give him about a tablespoon in a dish but he wails until he gets his coffee. Dorky cat. He was my mom's cat and she only drank black coffee. He'd sneak coffee out of her cup whenever he could. My other cat loves tea. Iced, hot, with cream and sugar, or without; she doesn't care. She just likes tea. We keep our tea cups and glasses covered around here to keep her out of it.

I have a half black lab named Sugar. She likes to steal the bottoms of celery sticks, and she shares them with her accomplice. My scraggly little Yorkshire Terrier likes to eat them too, and every time my mom cooks with celery sticks, my mom gives them both the ends to eat. You can hear them crunching from across the house.
I currently have a cat whose loves to eat vegetables (yes, this includes lettuce and spinach), but I think the weirdest one is still the one that liked Tikki Masala.

Had a cat who loved grapes & yes I know they aren't good for them. My youngest son would give her 2 small peeled grapes when he was eating them. So for 17 years, she was a spoiled rotten prima donna. She also loved vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce, but only the melted remains in the bowl. Couldn't eat either items without her begging & screaming until she got what she wanted.
My cat likes Doritos & when I give her one it is a staring contest till I give her another one, till the bag is gone.

My bunny used to love whoppers (the chocolate candy) and skittles. However, he hated the green skittles, he refused to eat them but thankfully those are my favorite.
He passed away last year at the ripe old age of 13. I miss him 😓
@Gojifan123 Godzillafan321 actually, chocolate is toxic in the wrong quantities. An overload of anything will kill you, and I always made sure never to give him more than 3, which is perfectly fine. Also, bunnies live 8-12 years. He lived way past his expiration date, so no, the chocolate didn't kill him, old age did.
@Gojifan123 Godzillafan321 yeah I know. It's a misconception that chocolate is deadly to animals. In large amounts it'll poison them yes, but in small amounts it's fine. If it was toxic, my dog would be dead. She loves to get into it. But no he died of old age and probably of a stroke. He was a good baby, he deserved all the treats he got but those two types were his absolute favorite. He stole a jolly rancher from me once.
It's funny that you mentioned brussel sprouts. I actually have several cats that will fight over brussel sprouts the same way most cats will fight over chicken or fish. For some reason they really like the greens. One of the cats is a regular salad eater. I'm talking salads without salad dressing

Actually the squirrel would go unharmed due to a few tricks they used
They have to calculate where they are going to land in just 300 milliseconds, then they will be looking at the spot the whole time
They also use a trick to rotate themselves, if they pull there body into its self it will rotate fast if they pull them out, the rotation goes slower
Then when they are going to land, they will stretch there legs out to the ground to get a shock absorbing landing
One of my moms dogs used to love eating vegetables, and since he was a Dalmatian I called him “our little cow”😂
One of my three dogs absolutely LOVES black licorice, she is like a little crackhead junky for it. She can smell it from across the house and will come running as fast as she can. Now don’t worry I have checked the ingredients for any of those sugar substitutes that can be really poisonous to dogs every time before I let her have a piece or two. I also make sure to break the pieces up into small bits so she gets many treats in her head even though it’s technically only two 😁

When I was a kid, I had a cat who loved to eat peas and carrots and fries (without salt, with mayonnaise). If he ever did not get a portion, he was really upset for days. Nevertheless, he did not beg at the table. And my father had a dog before I was born, he got every morning a dog bowl with Ceylon tea, there had to be milk in it and a little rock candy. As a puppy, he drank out my father's cup a few times when he was in the bathroom and liked it so much that he also got it every morning then.
