Welcome back to BodeVision! As we continue with the body swap project of transforming a 1968 Ford F350 onto a Lincoln Town Car chassis, we reach an exciting milestone. In this episode, I take you through the process of creating a floor-laying utility bed or service truck bed mounted to the truck.
Watch as I cut and reweld metal from the utility bed sides to make it fit perfectly. Adding another layer of customization, I incorporate a trailer fender into the side bin and do detailed metalwork with the wheel tub or trailer fender. This truck isn't just functional; it's a piece of art!

I kinda like the middle bin open with the tub showing! You should make a plexiglass door for it and paint Bode vision above the tub on the back wall of the bin. Idk maybe a little too excited 🤣 😅

I didn't use to like work boxes on trucks. But the more I see them slammed, and the more useful that I see they are, I think they look pretty cool now. Plus, they are different than every other slammed truck.

The doors close a certain way so they close when in motion and don't fly open at high speeds, I believe. Love the build and your skill sets are amazing! You make an overwhelming build look easy!
Just came to say this. The doors hinge at the front so wind don't catch them. Gotta make sure the latches are in good shape or it's going to be a bad time

I definitely agree to go the easier route with doors swinging the wrong way... But I would probably go over boarded with the locking mechanism as driving the truck around the wind is going to be trying to force the doors open vs. forcing them closed.
