Love the symbolism of the light globes. Irony on the stakes. And as much as people wanted Judges or Kings we have always had God's deity as Judge and King!
"....not as judges of The Darkness but Bringers of the light that saves." that was a beautiful retelling of the Book of Judges. I have never heard it summarize quite so vividly. I love the work that you're doing spoken gospel. may the Lord Jesus Christ be glorified in your projects. blessings be to you and all your families. thank you again for such a great work. #keepgoingfwd
Although I'm unable to support you financially I pray that the Lord will provide whatever you need.Watched all.Speechless.May the Lord bless each one of you.
This is a great reminder: "We are not judgers of the darkness but bringers of the light that saves." Also, you mentioned that Deborah was ironic but didn't say why. What made her ironic?
I do suggest watching these after reading the book. They are interpretations of the word, or how someone or a group of people view scripture, and to grow it’s best to learn to interpret scripture by yourself. If you want to watch something before reading the book, I’d suggest The Bible Project. Still, these are fantastic ways to absorb and see different views of scripture and I do appreciate this resource.
Judges is such a hard book to read but with watching your dramatisation and context it helps so much to build a full 3 d picture of what is going on and why. Thank you.
Powerful! I am so grateful for your series. I want to know and understand the word of God as closely and as best as possible. I study the word daily but it is so helpful to see this series and have it represented in a way that’s so comprehendible.
Yes AMEN you are so right these videos helps me out so much and know I understand more of the Bible and Christ our savior 🙏 this is truly a great blessing for me to know more about God Jesus and the holy Bible 🙏 God bless you and everyone on here 🙏 ❤
I have been reading the book of judges but never understood, and was always bored. Yesterday I decided to read again and it was the same feeling till I decided to search on RUclips contents on Judges that would help me understand.... HERE AM I, not only enjoying this content but understanding the book of judges . I am soo excited to watch more and more videos. God bless you all for your contents
Absolutely Beautifully depicted in this dramatization. David, your narration is perfect! These videos always bring it home after I finish reading the book. Thank you all, wonderful job!
3:28 WOW, that Samson was super amazing. I feel surprised, a super good intro, thanks Spoken Gospel. Amen, the final savior and judge is JESUS THE CHRIST. By the way: Not so long ago, I was listening to the Esther podcast, and it helped me a lot, thank you.
The IMAGERY! Your concept and props department deserves a raise. Jesus holding spike, falling on the fleece and offering himself before the dark throne… wow.
May I humbly suggest that the link to donate to Spoken Word be moved up to the first line of this and future videos description until your goal is met? 😁🙏🏾
God bless Spoken Gospel, love your videos! This was amazing😊❤🙏🏾 Prophecy is unfolding before our eyes and literally jumping off the pages of the bible. The Lord hasn't given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! Your salvation is through your faith in Jesus Christ for the remission of all your sins, we are all sinners saved through grace by faith not by works that any man should boast. The KING of KINGS, LORD of LORDS is coming! Come Lord Jesus 🙏🏾 Titus 2:13 KJV ❤️ 📖1 Corinthians 15: 1-4, Ephesians 2: 8-9, Romans 10: 9-10, John 3:16, John 14:6, Acts 2:21, Titus 2:13 The ABC's of salvation: A-Admit that you are a sinner in need of a savior. Romans 3:10, 3:23 B- Believe that Jesus is Lord , died for your sins and rose from the dead. Romans 5:8, 6:23 C- Call upon his name. Romans 10:9, 10:13 God bless 😊🙏🏾
I'm sorry but Hebrews 11 lists Jephthah and Samson as men if faith. Paul would hardly have included them in the list if they were as bad as depicted. There are alternative interpretations to everything asserted about them here. Sure those men were flawed in very human ways, but not quite as bad as depicted here. Not to mention Samuel lists Jephthahs as having been sent by God (1 Samuel 12:11) ruling out the idea that we was solely chosen by the people.
If anything Samson's picture was Israel turning to false gods or canaanite women. Not violence. His redemption at the end results in violence, God used violent men as a tool to save his people. Dont allow secular standards of right and wrong to cloud the plain meaning of the scripture.
Jephthahs daughter didn't just die. He murdered her as a sacrifice to God because he swore he would sacrifice the first person who greeted him when he returned from his victory over the amorites. He didn't know God well enough to understand God didn't want us sacruficing our children like the Canaanites did.
I’ve been researching this particular event because it troubled me to read about human sacrifice, since that was never God’s will or desire. I came across some interesting and believable interpretations that Jephthah’s daughter was sacrificed in the sense that her life was given to God in service from that moment, to serve Him without having ever knowing a man or having a family (which is why she went to mourn for 2 months because of her virginity instead of mourning about her death.) The Bible doesn’t actually say she was slaughtered, but that “at the end of 2 months her father did to her according to the vow, and she had no relations with a man.” There is other evidence from scripture that she was not actually killed, but instead given in service, which is worth a research. I know there are confusing interpretations about this passage, but I chose to believe this interpretation, based on the God we are told about in scripture and who I believe Him to be! :)
@@jenncleary5984 I've heard those interpretations as well and they just don't like up with various translations of scripture. Jepththah didn't know God as well because he wasn't raised with his family to know Him. So he may not have known that this would not be God's will.
@@mamamcfreeman105 that’s a very good point. Thanks! I like taking it all into account. Either way, it shows how far the Israelites came from knowing who God truly was, as you said
Yes, because this is so disturbing and God doesn’t delight in demonic human sacrifice like the pagan tribes in the land. But some interpretation say otherwise.
Hi there I am ex Muslim and now born again Christian! Thank you for making my learning easy for me by your videos! God bless you 🎉🎉🎉
Love the symbolism of the light globes. Irony on the stakes. And as much as people wanted Judges or Kings we have always had God's deity as Judge and King!
I like the parallel between taking Canaan and spreading the gospel, well done.
