I'm currently working on my project (still) from knitters and critters mal but seriously considering putting it down to join in the aopdmal!

I took a hand painted yarns class this last weekend and the hardest part was choosing colors! Do not envy you the task of trying to figure out new colorways, that's for sure!
@@thecornerofcraft It was fun but now I have three skeins of yarn that don't coordinate because I didn't plan my colors well enough! May have to grab some other yarns from stash and make a few hats.
I also knit things in the same color and try to break out of that by looking for patterns to match my yarn as opposed to yarn to match my patterns. So far it kind of works.

Great video! For #aodpmal23, I started the Adventure Quest scarf but was stymied by the brioche sections so i frogged and am now making a much easier and equally beautiful litmus cowl. I'm on day 8 and its going very quickly so should be finished soon. Super happy i managed to snag one of the sock sets this morning cant wait to make some cute spooky socks. Happy belated birthday and happy fall!

For hat blocking, you could stuff a plastic/grocery bag with some newspaper or bubble wrap to be approximately the right size. I wouldn't call choosing similar colours a "toxic trait." It's more like a beige flag: not really problematic but you're not proud of it, either

It only has a chart for the cables, no written counterpart. It's a fun knit though! x
