Just discovered a local tea blender, The White House in Waterdown. They make this Sticky Toffee tea that is the perfect end to the day. My AODP participation is a bunch of projects that use the full skein and the minis. Right now I'm using the full skein for a Magpie Tendency and I'll be casting on a scrappy version of the Exploration Station for a shawl-along in September
Love that purple sweater. I am working on my Advents of December's Past. I am up to Day 23 of 25. Then I can move onto yet another abandoned advent. haha

I was curious about the advent throw, so I looked up the pattern on Rav. There is an errata saying "You will need to break yarn after every row during each fade section". Your instincts are quite correct!
Thanks for the encouragement on picking back up my AOCP project. I'm almost done with my flax sweater and need to get back to the shawl. Maybe I will pause when I cast off the body and knit the shawl for a bit before I pick up the sleeves. The shawl had brioche and I still haven't really gotten the hang of it. Thanks for another fun video!
I made the Fade into Christmas wrap/throw/shawl as well and it's so nice and warm around my neck! And the pattern was soooooo addictive, I finished this pattern in 1 month😱. I did cut the yarn at the end of the fade rows. Also the pattern has been changed, however the free copy didn't got updated.

I did start and subsequently abandoned my advent project...how did you know, lol 😂😂😂 I've decided to allow myself to put down projects if the timing/volume/etc. is causing excessive stress... I need to come up with a plan for 2024 to clean up some of my WIPs without feeling too restricted by them 🤔🤔🤔

According to the pattern notes on Ravelry there was an error in the instructions about carrying the yarn up the side! I couldn’t hear your gurgles at all!!

Love the vlog. Funny thing... I also pronounce bagels like Britta in Community. Always have,don't know why.
I genuinely didn't know it was an alternative pronunciation when I saw the episode until a few years later, when one of our friends said it too! x
