Archer Emiya must be one of my most favourite servants. Not only has he unparalleled style, he also is an absolute unit. His bow hits like a mini nuke like when he hiroshima'd Heracles. Though despite being an archer, he went toe-to-toe with Irish Hercules Cu *and* Arturia. I stan Actually Satan, and ship him with Rin. This is a great AMV for the Counter Guardian.
@@mordredpendragon1235 Shirou never took on a servant though. He only ever fought Archer and Gilgamesh. The fight with Archer was more of a battle of ideals than anything physical and he was able to keep up with Gilgamesh because of the battle experience he got from Archer and the fact that Gilgamesh just stands at one place and doesn't move. Unless you are counting the bad end of Heaven's feel where he went toe to toe with Saber Alter and was only one hit away from victory, I am gonna have to say no, he ain't op. Just balanced is all.
I feel like archer actually has the most tragic backstory of them all even though he has no fame. He was doomed by his own ideals and forced to be betrayed countless times and forced to kill over and over because of his ideals getting him be a counter guardian and only seeing that making a pack with the world was him saving people not realizing he has to kill over and over, the only upside to him being one is that he can train his skills, the same thing he had been doing when he was alive
@@_iryomen_ He can tho. He's constantly being deployed to kill beings that are much more stronger than him. Wouldn't exactly surprise me if he manages to solo the ORT at some point. Remember he's practically immortal and is going through countless battles each second without rest. If that sort of live combat doesn't train his skill then nothing will.

Well considering Shirou Emiya is able to take a servant head on despite being human. Archer has always be op even at the beginning
