@@razanon4373 They are still affected by the stats. Archers have the ability to act independently and have stupidly high range, so they are weaker up close. The only reason Emiya can even fight up close is his mind's eye(true) skill that basically tells him how to act. He is kinda op overall, despite low stats.

On top of that, we see proof of this when Archer fights Lancer, when Assassin talks a out his relationship with Caster and how he'd rather fight Saber fair and square, and when Saber explains to Shirou that fights against certain servants will be more difficult for her(she isnt talking about Caster due to her magic resistance, she isnt talking about Lancer or Assassin due to her luck, she isnt talking about Berserker cause everyone has a disadvantage against him, she isnt talking about Rider because she brings up how riders only have their np as a strength) which implies, the only person she was worried about was Archer, due to class advantage.

Never liked Miyuverse Shirou. Just half baked HeavensFeel!Shirou imo. Plus I never liked the Archer look. Yeah I get it's supposed to look like Avenger since this Shrou said he'd condemn all of humanity for his sister or something of the sort. But I've been so aclimated to EMIYA's look so perhaps I'm biased.
I see a lot of people saying emiya is weaker than the other servants. Although, that may be true, archers strength comes from his strategic planning and willingness to do underhanded tricks like kiritsugu. Emiya archer really is one of the best tacticians we've seen from a servant and throughout Fsn and Fate hollow we see him perform extremely well for being "weakest servant". Emiya's vast knowledge of magic also puts him a leg up over others, likely gathered from studying under tohsaka in life.
Being a Counter Guardian, he also lacks any Special buffs or benies based on a "Legend" like the Heroic Spirits. He can't even access his Normal level of power either, since being a Servant locks him into only getting power from a Master and forcing him to take their orders.
Well... some says that the power of servant comes from their story, Emiya has no story he's a mortal who wasn't talented, he didn't wield any demonic or holy sword nor was a peerless swordsman, he was a mere mage who was born without a talent, he worked harder much morethan everyone, made a contract with the world to wield a cursed power with a really sad chant, he worked to become what he's rn and then was betrayed by the people he saved, and they just gave him an archer class? I mean maybe because how lonely he was, because archer is a class which do everything alone but this didn't give him anything good, what he needed is being a caster class servant because he's a mage who wasn't known to anybody, who was forgotten to the point that he dosen't remeber his past "people says that he took 20 years+ to master his only spell"

@@fanu3p900 Honestly, i doubt that the inferior heaven's feel of the miyuverse would be able to save that world, after all, the true Heaven's feel need the death of the seven servants to be able to open a gateway to the root, and the fact that in this world alaya/gaia is dead (mostly because im not sure wich one of the two is Tanaka), means that you need at least two grails, or that is what implies Julian after the rematch between angelica and shirou.

Honestly I kinda wish Shirou could have made use of Gem Swords to store mana like Rin does with her Jewelcraft. It’s like the perfect thing! He can’t use anything but swords and jewels store mana so sword shaped jewels would be the perfect way to get around lack of mana
that thing would eat the energy quite quickly, though if he stayed with rin, she might try making him store mana in gems for later use, for your method to work, him summoning the gen sword would have to keep in mana gebneration surplus and i doubt that is happening
I'm pretty sure that would be able to happen in ubw only though since while he is immensely related to swords he can't just create mana cause that's on the level of the third magic heaven's feel but inside his ubw that can easily occur cause ubw doesn't take mana to create swords and swords still retain their history which I feel would include mana and ubw being a reality marble which is the closest you can get to true magic without getting true magic would be able to perform the infinite mana function of heaven's feel
About that, the mana inside that sword isn't gonna come out of anywhere, noble phantasms have their own source of mana, so he can project them, but projecting an Azoth dagger would require him to generate the same amount of mana that is inside of that sword. So, he can project it, but it would probably kill him.
This song is a perfect theme for Shirou/Archer, all the other heroic spirits have they're noble phantasms while Shirou has hard work and determination and look how strong that made him.🏹🗡😇

Admittedly there are quite a few individuals from the Fate series that would out class Archer (and by extension shirou) by quite a vast margin. Examples include Lancelot berserker (wields everything and a half), Karna (kinda hard to kill), Semiramis (only if she has Garden) and ironically the vast majority of the Saber class
@@Variant_N A good chunk of Archer's effectiveness depends on his Master's Mana output. Technically, just about any of the Servants could actually kill each other. Shakespeare's NP could possibly kill anyone. Hektor's spear is (in Lore) an unstoppable-kills-everything tool. Caster Cu soloed a GW sans Master, including SAlter. Even the :less powerful" ones still have a real shot at winning.
I think the best thing about emiya and his noble phantasm is that it can basically copy and exactly replicate any weapon. Weather he be using 9 lives blade works or unlimited blade works Even copying medea's rule breaker. Even fake his projections are about almost as strong as the real thing. Even the noble phantasm of his creation rhode ias the shield.
Kind of close but a noble phantasm is a part of the hero's legend. E.g. Excalibur. Emiya doesn't have a noble phantasm of his own, it's a reality marble. His own inner world. And he can force his world out to overwrite the normal world in a area for a time. His copying noble phantasms is a part of the RM, the phantasm is stored in his marble and he projects it out into the world.

I would like to share this amazing piece by FBI-sama a few years back about Shiro 🧨 At first i didn't like Shirou, when i watched him on Fate / Stay Night 2006 he seemed like a Generic Shounen Protagonist, but as i watched more and more Fate / i discovered that he was anything but that. I think i understand why some people hate him, it's because they don't fully understand his character, because on outside especially if you've only watched the Fate route, he seems like a generic "I wanna become a hero" type of character , the innocent, idealistic kid with big dreams usually found in Shounen Anime or because they saw an out of context meme. but as you see different aspects of him you discover that there's much more meaning to his sometimes irrational actions, more weight to his convictions, a reason for his determination. After knowing his past, present and future, you begin to fully understand his reasoning, why he'd recklessly throw away his own life for others. He's strong willed but also a shattered person in both mind and body, he's full of determination but also full of regrets, he's smart but also very irrational, but his smarts is not very apparent at first. he has lost everything but also willing to lose more in order to gain something, like an innocent child chasing after a dream but also well aware of how impossible it is, that his dream nothing but a childish dream that only a miracle can accomplish, conflicting traits that usually don't mix. After watching Fate / Zero, Stay Night 2006, UBW, Heaven's Feel 1 and Oath Under Snow i was able to fully appreciate the many aspects of his character and so he become one of my favorite anime characters.
you know, I feel the same way about him. bcuz I start the series from the original FSN 2006, his character really tick me off. like what the fuck, cant this guy just pissed off instead of barging in every time Saber fighting and because of him Saber had to always saving his ass... I never really hate character as much as him... but when Deen do UBW movie, I get to see how badass Shirou can actually be, and the revelation of Archer as his future self really surprise me, like I never though that the whiny character can have future like that... and his development in other iteration of Fate Series is one of the best character development I ever witness... really glad I get to watch FSN 2006 first as I get to appreciate on how far Shirou been through

it was flat out stated in Stay Night that Gilgamesh, when serious, can defeat every single servant in the 5th HGW with ease, yes Archer specifically counters Gil's Gate of Babylon but Ea completely nullifies anything Archer could throw out, the only 3 servants with a remote chance of defeating a serious mode Gil are Karna as an Archer or Rider, Heracles as an Archer (Alcides as well) and i'd go so far as to say that Achilles as either a Berserker or Lancer could do it
@@GBlockbreaker there were no such statements in stay night. Quite the opposite actualy, fully serious Gilgamesh verbally admited quote "kuh-you(Shirou) are stronger than me in here(in ubw)". It is highly questionable wheather Ea in Gil's hands can even pierce rho aias. Ea also needs time to charge up, otherwise Shirou, let alone Archer, can straight up facetank it even without rho aias as was seen in ubw route and ous. Not to mention Gil just being too slow for Archer. Karna as a lancer defeats Gil in his extella sidestory. Achiles as a rider would just speedblitz Gil even harder, than Shirou actually did it, when he saw an allready retreating Gil trying to pull out Ea from behind his back. There are A LOT of servants, that are more powerful and/or more dangerous, than those 3 you just mentioned. There are even more, that can beat Gilgamesh, who is about as strong, if not weaker than Cu , judging from the 3 fights they had, Gilgamesh, who only has a slight advantage against Salter with a good master, specifically thanks to his cunning, Gilgamesh who lost to Artoria even when Iskandar was helping him, Gilgamesh, who got killed by Lu Bu, Gilgamesh, who got killed by Lancelot and Mash, Gilgamesh, who got killed by Nero and who knows how many other servants. None of those servants have any hope of defeating a serious Archer, most if not all of those servants at one point or another were actually dirrectly defeated or killed by him, a connected to the grail Salter got wasted by a half dead Shirou, who did not even have ubw, and at a close range no less.
The Grail War Saber: Artoria Archer 1: Emiya Archer 2: Gilgamesh Lancer: Cu Chulainn Assassin: Hassan Caster: Medea Beserker: Heracles So... a Dragon, 3 Demigods (Maybe 4 if Medea is included; can't remember about her) and a Counter Guardian. In kaleid I believe in the miyuverse alaya and Gaia are gone which is apparently allows shirou to trace divine constructs to a certain extent like making it skinnier
Alaya and Gaia are not gone , it's the World's mana that is depleted and injected with a nocive substitute. And he made a hollow construct of those divine constructs , a hollowed version is pretty useless in comparisson to the real thing. While UBW makes a copy that is so great that is only one rank down to the real thing , a projected divine construct is worse than that. EMIYA can only make Avalon and Excalibur as divine constructs.

As they said above, Shirou made a hollow copy, that is, it has nothing inside, it is just the shape of the weapon, therefore it does not have any power inside, besides that Shirou's copy broke when in contact with the original, therefore He cannot copy divine weapons since they come out hollow, he only copies the shape and that's it EMIYA, for example, can only copy two divine constructions, Excalibur and Avalon
Emiya: I can face head on the strongest and most destructive Noble Phantasm with...SWORDS! One Enuma Elish Later.... Emiya: I'm dead...i could have moved the swords AROUND Gilgamesh's attack and pierced him like a skewer but not, i had to face that attack head on without any strategy
So the narrative of shirou not being able to beat any other hero than gilgamesh is 100%true but archer on the other hand can 1v1 90 percent of the other heros to victory. The key difference is shirou will fight honorably where as archer will win by any means necessarry

it wouldn't dissapear , his manifestation would have just some alterations. a proper HS EMIYA is basically Fate Route Shirou , as he had reach Avalon. His UBW is underdeveloped , however , he is capable of making Calibur and Avalon , let alone Excalibur Image in a more pristine quality. Most of EMIYA's projections are NPs that he saw during his Counter-Guardian missions , his Rho Aias , for example , is due to EMIYA making an assassination mission within the Trojan War and saw Ajax at distance. So Fate Route Shirou wouldn't had Rho Aiais , however , with extra cost , he can use Avalon , which is better.
@@phantasosxgames8488 Little late to reply, but you are wrong about Fate Shirou's capabilities. For one, he can't project Avalon. The sheath of Excalibur is of Divine and Fae make and thus Shirou can't comprehend it, just like Excalibur. The only way for him to project it is if he has the real Avalon on hand to check his work while doing so. At the end of the Fate Route, Shirou loses Avalon, and according to Nasu himself, with the loss of Avalon came the loss of the 'image' of Avalon. Two, we don't know how long it took for Shirou to reach Avalon. There are a lot of fan-made ways he did so, but none are confirmed. If we are to go with the lore appropriate path, however, Shirou would have to wait for humanity to leave for the stars, thus starting the Age of Will. Once said age starts, the Reverse Side of the World would merge with the normal side and Avalon would be accessible (Avalon the location, not the sheath, is located in the Reverse Side of the World, and the Reverse Side of the World is separated from the normal side, making it impossible for anyone to traverse to it. Unless, of course, Fafnir decided to make a small journey over and someone managed to beat the shit out of him, forcing the dragon to take them to the Reverse Side of the World). To add upon this requirement, Shirou would have to be worthy of entering Avalon, meaning he would have to do his Hero of Justice thing while he waited. There isn't exactly a known timeframe for the Age of Will to start, but time wouldn't matter to Shirou. Caliburn time-locks its users so Shirou could theoretically wait for however long it would take as long as he keeps a projection of it on hand. This theory also fits the prophecy Merlin gave. Shirou and Artoria would literally have to wait for the 'end' before they could meet again. In this unspecified amount of time, who knows how strong Shirou would get. Given that it took EMIYA about two decades to create UBW, Shirou would have more than enough time to create and master it, so it's doubtful that UBW would be undeveloped by a Heroic Spirit of him. Additionally, a Heroic Spirit can't exist if the person themselves never died. Merlin and Artoria are key examples. Shirou, once he reached Avalon, would spend an eternity with Artoria and thus a Heroic Spirit of him won't form as he wouldn't die. At best, if he impressed himself upon the populace during his eternal wait enough, then a 'wraith'-like existence similar to Sasaki could form; where the Heroic Spirit isn't the actual person the legend is based on.
Fate would have been a better show if it was not the actual heroic spirit but just incarnations of them, like Zhuge liang and Weaver. Everyone would just dress normally (Looking at Ushiwakamaru) and would have made a good Magic and Mafia show. Btw did I told you that this Amv is good? I already did but hey, nice job

My dude, I get that the anime really kind of glossed over the fact but, it’s a pretty well known detail among the fans that Kiritsugu was constantly making trips to Germany to try and get Illya away from the Einzberns. He only stopped once he could no longer physically make the trips.

@@Whitefox_09 Not quite. It’s more that he left the Einzbern’s castle fully expecting that he’d be returning and getting her once the fourth grail war was over. But the well known events of fate zero happened, and the Einzberns put everything they had into making sure that he’d never be able to even get close to the castle again and poisoned Illya against him and Shirou by telling her that he abandoned her. He didn’t abandon Illya, he was forcefully kept away from her. Shirou narrates in the vn how Kiritsugu was constantly making trips abroad that lasted months at a time, with it being at the very least heavily implied to have all been trips where he tried forcing his way to the castle and failing.

Likely allowed himself to be caught as to not let magic out into public, but also since him being the scapegoat likely stabilized the region, thus saving the lives that would have otherwise died due to him proving himself innocent or escaping, allowing the conflict to continue if he did so.
kermit sewer slide that’s much later down the timeline of archer, at that point he’s just looking to somehow exit being a counter guardian, he want’s to prevent himself from every making a deal with alaya to become a counter guardian by killing his past self before that happens, even if it in all likelihood won’t work, he also sees it as a mercy killing since he prevents his past self from going down a really bad path according to archer, the very same that archer went down.
kermit sewer slide essentially, he was counting on killing shirou creating a paradox big enough to allow him to escape, however that would work, but he was willing to settle with just pushing shirou out of the path that lead to him becoming archer. At least in some of the routes.

I see a lot of people saying emiya is weaker than the other servants. Although, that may be true, archers strength comes from his strategic planning and willingness to do underhanded tricks like kiritsugu. Emiya archer really is one of the best tacticians we've seen from a servant and throughout Fsn and Fate hollow we see him perform extremely well for being "weakest servant". Emiya's vast knowledge of magic also puts him a leg up over others, likely gathered from studying under tohsaka in life.
Being a Counter Guardian, he also lacks any Special buffs or benies based on a "Legend" like the Heroic Spirits. He can't even access his Normal level of power either, since being a Servant locks him into only getting power from a Master and forcing him to take their orders.
Well... some says that the power of servant comes from their story, Emiya has no story he's a mortal who wasn't talented, he didn't wield any demonic or holy sword nor was a peerless swordsman, he was a mere mage who was born without a talent, he worked harder much morethan everyone, made a contract with the world to wield a cursed power with a really sad chant, he worked to become what he's rn and then was betrayed by the people he saved, and they just gave him an archer class? I mean maybe because how lonely he was, because archer is a class which do everything alone but this didn't give him anything good, what he needed is being a caster class servant because he's a mage who wasn't known to anybody, who was forgotten to the point that he dosen't remeber his past

@@fanu3p900 Honestly, i doubt that the inferior heaven's feel of the miyuverse would be able to save that world, after all, the true Heaven's feel need the death of the seven servants to be able to open a gateway to the root, and the fact that in this world alaya/gaia is dead (mostly because im not sure wich one of the two is Tanaka), means that you need at least two grails, or that is what implies Julian after the rematch between angelica and shirou.

Honestly I kinda wish Shirou could have made use of Gem Swords to store mana like Rin does with her Jewelcraft. It’s like the perfect thing! He can’t use anything but swords and jewels store mana so sword shaped jewels would be the perfect way to get around lack of mana
that thing would eat the energy quite quickly, though if he stayed with rin, she might try making him store mana in gems for later use, for your method to work, him summoning the gen sword would have to keep in mana gebneration surplus and i doubt that is happening
I'm pretty sure that would be able to happen in ubw only though since while he is immensely related to swords he can't just create mana cause that's on the level of the third magic heaven's feel but inside his ubw that can easily occur cause ubw doesn't take mana to create swords and swords still retain their history which I feel would include mana and ubw being a reality marble which is the closest you can get to true magic without getting true magic would be able to perform the infinite mana function of heaven's feel
About that, the mana inside that sword isn't gonna come out of anywhere, noble phantasms have their own source of mana, so he can project them, but projecting an Azoth dagger would require him to generate the same amount of mana that is inside of that sword. So, he can project it, but it would probably kill him.

Shakespeare's NP could possibly kill anyone. Hektor's spear is (in Lore) an unstoppable-kills-everything tool. Caster Cu soloed a GW sans Master, including SAlter. Even the :less powerful" ones still have a real shot at winning.

Kind of close but a noble phantasm is a part of the hero's legend. E.g. Excalibur. Emiya doesn't have a noble phantasm of his own, it's a reality marble. His own inner world. And he can force his world out to overwrite the normal world in a area for a time. His copying noble phantasms is a part of the RM, the phantasm is stored in his marble and he projects it out into the world.

At first i didn't like Shirou, when i watched him on Fate / Stay Night 2006 he seemed like a Generic Shounen Protagonist, but as i watched more and more Fate / i discovered that he was anything but that. I think i understand why some people hate him, it's because they don't fully understand his character, because on outside especially if you've only watched the Fate route, he seems like a generic "I wanna become a hero" type of character , the innocent, idealistic kid with big dreams usually found in Shounen Anime or because they saw an out of context meme. but as you see different aspects of him you discover that there's much more meaning to his sometimes irrational actions, more weight to his convictions, a reason for his determination. After knowing his past, present and future, you begin to fully understand his reasoning, why he'd recklessly throw away his own life for others. He's strong willed but also a shattered person in both mind and body, he's full of determination but also full of regrets, he's smart but also very irrational, but his smarts is not very apparent at first. he has lost everything but also willing to lose more in order to gain something, like an innocent child chasing after a dream but also well aware of how impossible it is, that his dream nothing but a childish dream that only a miracle can accomplish, conflicting traits that usually don't mix. After watching Fate / Zero, Stay Night 2006, UBW, Heaven's Feel 1 and Oath Under Snow i was able to fully appreciate the many aspects of his character and so he become one of my favorite anime characters.

it was flat out stated in Stay Night that Gilgamesh, when serious, can defeat every single servant in the 5th HGW with ease, yes Archer specifically counters Gil's Gate of Babylon but Ea completely nullifies anything Archer could throw out, the only 3 servants with a remote chance of defeating a serious mode Gil are Karna as an Archer or Rider, Heracles as an Archer (Alcides as well) and i'd go so far as to say that Achilles as either a Berserker or Lancer could do it
@@GBlockbreaker there were no such statements in stay night. Quite the opposite actualy, fully serious Gilgamesh verbally admited quote "kuh-you(Shirou) are stronger than me in here(in ubw)".
It is highly questionable wheather Ea in Gil's hands can even pierce rho aias. Ea also needs time to charge up, otherwise Shirou, let alone Archer, can straight up facetank it even without rho aias as was seen in ubw route and ous. Not to mention Gil just being too slow for Archer.
Karna as a lancer defeats Gil in his extella sidestory.
Achiles as a rider would just speedblitz Gil even harder, than Shirou actually did it, when he saw an allready retreating Gil trying to pull out Ea from behind his back.
There are A LOT of servants, that are more powerful and/or more dangerous, than those 3 you just mentioned. There are even more, that can beat Gilgamesh, who is about as strong, if not weaker than Cu , judging from the 3 fights they had, Gilgamesh, who only has a slight advantage against Salter with a good master, specifically thanks to his cunning, Gilgamesh who lost to Artoria even when Iskandar was helping him, Gilgamesh, who got killed by Lu Bu, Gilgamesh, who got killed by Lancelot and Mash, Gilgamesh, who got killed by Nero and who knows how many other servants.
None of those servants have any hope of defeating a serious Archer, most if not all of those servants at one point or another were actually dirrectly defeated or killed by him, a connected to the grail Salter got wasted by a half dead Shirou, who did not even have ubw, and at a close range no less.

In kaleid I believe in the miyuverse alaya and Gaia are gone which is apparently allows shirou to trace divine constructs to a certain extent like making it skinnier
Alaya and Gaia are not gone , it's the World's mana that is depleted and injected with a nocive substitute.
And he made a hollow construct of those divine constructs , a hollowed version is pretty useless in comparisson to the real thing. While UBW makes a copy that is so great that is only one rank down to the real thing , a projected divine construct is worse than that.
EMIYA can only make Avalon and Excalibur as divine constructs.

As they said above, Shirou made a hollow copy, that is, it has nothing inside, it is just the shape of the weapon, therefore it does not have any power inside, besides that Shirou's copy broke when in contact with the original, therefore He cannot copy divine weapons since they come out hollow, he only copies the shape and that's it EMIYA, for example, can only copy two divine constructions, Excalibur and Avalon

So the narrative of shirou not being able to beat any other hero than gilgamesh is 100%true but archer on the other hand can 1v1 90 percent of the other heros to victory. The key difference is shirou will fight honorably where as archer will win by any means necessarry

it wouldn't dissapear , his manifestation would have just some alterations.
a proper HS EMIYA is basically Fate Route Shirou , as he had reach Avalon. His UBW is underdeveloped , however , he is capable of making Calibur and Avalon , let alone Excalibur Image in a more pristine quality.
Most of EMIYA's projections are NPs that he saw during his Counter-Guardian missions , his Rho Aias , for example , is due to EMIYA making an assassination mission within the Trojan War and saw Ajax at distance. So Fate Route Shirou wouldn't had Rho Aiais , however , with extra cost , he can use Avalon , which is better.
@@phantasosxgames8488 Little late to reply, but you are wrong about Fate Shirou's capabilities. For one, he can't project Avalon. The sheath of Excalibur is of Divine and Fae make and thus Shirou can't comprehend it, just like Excalibur. The only way for him to project it is if he has the real Avalon on hand to check his work while doing so. At the end of the Fate Route, Shirou loses Avalon, and according to Nasu himself, with the loss of Avalon came the loss of the 'image' of Avalon.
Two, we don't know how long it took for Shirou to reach Avalon. There are a lot of fan-made ways he did so, but none are confirmed. If we are to go with the lore appropriate path, however, Shirou would have to wait for humanity to leave for the stars, thus starting the Age of Will. Once said age starts, the Reverse Side of the World would merge with the normal side and Avalon would be accessible (Avalon the location, not the sheath, is located in the Reverse Side of the World, and the Reverse Side of the World is separated from the normal side, making it impossible for anyone to traverse to it. Unless, of course, Fafnir decided to make a small journey over and someone managed to beat the shit out of him, forcing the dragon to take them to the Reverse Side of the World). To add upon this requirement, Shirou would have to be worthy of entering Avalon, meaning he would have to do his Hero of Justice thing while he waited.
There isn't exactly a known timeframe for the Age of Will to start, but time wouldn't matter to Shirou. Caliburn time-locks its users so Shirou could theoretically wait for however long it would take as long as he keeps a projection of it on hand. This theory also fits the prophecy Merlin gave. Shirou and Artoria would literally have to wait for the 'end' before they could meet again. In this unspecified amount of time, who knows how strong Shirou would get. Given that it took EMIYA about two decades to create UBW, Shirou would have more than enough time to create and master it, so it's doubtful that UBW would be undeveloped by a Heroic Spirit of him.
Additionally, a Heroic Spirit can't exist if the person themselves never died. Merlin and Artoria are key examples. Shirou, once he reached Avalon, would spend an eternity with Artoria and thus a Heroic Spirit of him won't form as he wouldn't die. At best, if he impressed himself upon the populace during his eternal wait enough, then a 'wraith'-like existence similar to Sasaki could form; where the Heroic Spirit isn't the actual person the legend is based on.

My dude, I get that the anime really kind of glossed over the fact but, it’s a pretty well known detail among the fans that Kiritsugu was constantly making trips to Germany to try and get Illya away from the Einzberns. He only stopped once he could no longer physically make the trips.
@@tinman2655 ah I see thanks for the info so the real why he did what he was just simply to protect his daughter from the agency that was after her. Like I know you can't expect them to always be able to include everything from the manga/ln. But still they could've at least dropped hints that that's what he was doing, instead of just leaving us in the dark like that I guess that's my biggest complaint.
@@Whitefox_09 Not quite. It’s more that he left the Einzbern’s castle fully expecting that he’d be returning and getting her once the fourth grail war was over. But the well known events of fate zero happened, and the Einzberns put everything they had into making sure that he’d never be able to even get close to the castle again and poisoned Illya against him and Shirou by telling her that he abandoned her. He didn’t abandon Illya, he was forcefully kept away from her. Shirou narrates in the vn how Kiritsugu was constantly making trips abroad that lasted months at a time, with it being at the very least heavily implied to have all been trips where he tried forcing his way to the castle and failing.

I'm actually curious as to how guardian shirou was hanged I mean there's no way they could have beaten him
Likely allowed himself to be caught as to not let magic out into public, but also since him being the scapegoat likely stabilized the region, thus saving the lives that would have otherwise died due to him proving himself innocent or escaping, allowing the conflict to continue if he did so.

kermit sewer slide that’s much later down the timeline of archer, at that point he’s just looking to somehow exit being a counter guardian, he want’s to prevent himself from every making a deal with alaya to become a counter guardian by killing his past self before that happens, even if it in all likelihood won’t work, he also sees it as a mercy killing since he prevents his past self from going down a really bad path according to archer, the very same that archer went down.

kermit sewer slide essentially, he was counting on killing shirou creating a paradox big enough to allow him to escape, however that would work, but he was willing to settle with just pushing shirou out of the path that lead to him becoming archer. At least in some of the routes.
