Although we have had quite a few weeks training our young tennis players we know that learning tennis properly is a long journey. We are still building our core tennis fundamentals with today's beginner kids tennis drills. If you'd like your child playing tennis to have the option to go far in this great lifetime sport we recommend taking the time to include drills like you see here at the beginning of their tennis journey. We hope you like the content. If you'd like more detailed resources to develop players we highly recommend becoming a VTP Insider. You're not only becoming a more knowledgeable tennis teacher but helping bring tennis to communities that otherwise might not become involved in the sport.

I'm not a coach, I don't have any kids, and I'm not selling anything. Just a tennis fan and fan of great coaching, I have many friends that are tennis coaches tho, working with this many little ones without assistance can not be easy! RESPECT to you Coach Jeff 🙏👏

Are there customized racket's for kids if not should be it would give them confident that they are able to incorporate their own personal stuff with the activity in which they are very passionate about which within it's self will help them to not think about the different lights as they rise to different stages in the activity in which they love with all their heart. I do think some of the stuff the coach is teaching is to advanced for the ability and age i am a qualified coach in uk performance coach in the lta.but hes a good coach but i think keep it very simple is better for that age.

This very traditional coach-centred approach may have been acceptable 30 years ago.

this is too complicated... just start with hitting the ball and making it fun... its making it so boring

if the kids don’t have a foundation of skills, they will get frustrated and/or disheartened and eventually stop playing. it’s not fun when they don’t know what they’re doing.
