    you are awesome.... you got me at the "I know some people might not agree with this" regarding the paws cut.. I am more practical too, not so much about the look... you are a champ... our doesn't look so polished like yours, but I am trying...

    For someone who is not a dog groomer you do a fantastic job and Slater was at ease the entire time. I'm bringing mine home on the 22nd. Once I think I have everything I watch your video and head back out to the store. You've raised the bar for all Cavalier moms to aspire to!

    I enjoy watching your videos sooo much! I don’t have a CKCS yet but I am planning to get one. Little Slater is such a well behaved boy. You’ve done such a great job raising him. You make it all look so easy. Love your chill and patient vibe. Your videos are entertaining, relaxing and educational. THANK YOU! 💗

    After I bath my 8 month old he runs like a lunatic all over the sitting room trying to dry himself off! I manage to give him a quick brush everytime he runs past me😂 So quite the opposite to your cool and calm routine 😕

    You have made a good video! Your explanation and the step-by-step process are really informative and easy to understand. Wonderful! I am quite interested in getting a cavalier, and this seems very useful. I would just like to ask, how long does it usually take to do everything, the bathing + grooming, and how often do you need to do it all for Cavaliers? Your pup is adorable as well! Thank you for the video.

    Can I give some advice hon? If you bathe the darlin inside a little tub inside the bathtub they are far more relaxed and warm not standing there in the cold. It’s like us, right? We love laying in water! Cleans a lot better too, a bit like dishes inside a sink of water instead of single cleaning them! They love a little tub!

    • @SydneyFrancia
      @SydneyFrancia  3 года назад

      Interesting idea, maybe I'll give it a try! Slater is pretty relaxed during the whole process and I turn the air heat up a little when he is in the tub unless its summer :)

      @@SydneyFrancia Yes at the end we would take Buddy out and wash all the water off and they’re still fine standing but geez they love being soaked... ☺️

    I’ve always wanted a cavalier! Are they heavy shedders? Also do they have a double or single coat???? I have a goldendoodle and he barely sheds 😅

    Im want a dog like this, and never had one dog in my life . What did u mean with "not too cold or hot water"? Should i bath my dog , when i get it, at normal body temp (37 celsius) or should i go abit higher ( 40 or so)? I want to handle my dog the best way possible and give it best life possible. I will stay "dog-less " for years now because i cant provide best life possible for my dog

    • @SydneyFrancia

      Not to hot, not to cold meaning warm water that's comfortable :)

    Tell me more about these black hairs in the ears that causes ear infections?

    • @SydneyFrancia
      @SydneyFrancia  3 года назад +1

      Plucking the hair from the ear canal is a controversial topic in the dog grooming world. Some dog groomers claim that they see more ear infections in dogs that get their ears routinely plucked, while others claim just the opposite. Like so many other things in the world, the answer for whether or not you should pluck your dog’s ears is ... it depends!
      If your dog has chronic ear infections, plucking inside their ears can help with air circulation which helps keep moisture in the ear at bay. Plucking also makes giving ear medication easier and more effective since it can make its way all the way into the ear canal.
      However, if your dog does not suffer from recurring ear infections, there is no medical reason to pluck their ears as long as the hair is well-trimmed or brushed out and not allowed to mat or block the ear opening. If you're worried about the amount of hair growing in your dog's ears, discuss with your vet what option is best for your dog :)
