- In today's vlog we head to the Central Florida Zoo! We got to see so many animals and learned some fun new facts too! Then we fed the giraffes and even got an up close encounter with PJ the rhinoceros! Jackson had so much fun and it was a great way to spend the day for a family outing. Then we head into downtown Sanford for lunch at Henry's Depot, food hall. We had some really great food and I even had the best sandwich I've ever had. We'll definitely be back to try more food! Next time you’re in the Tampa area, be sure to check out Armature Works and the river walk. There are plenty of delicious food choices to choose from. There is also a splash pad in the area as well! If you go in the evening, you can also see all the bats fly out from the Riverwalk bridge at sunset.
I second this as well. Love the choices there and so much to do. Been going since it opened. :)

Armature is great. Sparkman’s Wharf is also a lot of fun. It’s all out doors but a similar idea to the other food halls.

My family and I love the CFZoo! We did the Rhino encounter several years ago, and it is an awesome experience. I'm glad you all got to do it. I can't believe P.J. is 10 already! I remember when the zoo acquired him. Seeding Jackson feed the goats, the giraffes (Gage and Rafiki), and the Llama (Andre) was so sweet. Every time I see Andre, he always approaches me and puts his face right up to mine. He is a sweetheart!
Being a big animal lover this video was right up my street. When I visited Animal Kingdom I could have been there for a week and not had enough time to take it all in!
The food hall is similar to what we have over here. So basically it's separate concessions altogether in a food hall. So each company would be separate that's there. Funnily enough we have a lot of American diners in our food halls.
Loved the Rhino and Giraffe encounters. I have fed giraffes. Always fascinated by their blue tongues.
Tim's impression of the goat chewing was hilarious. Henry's Depot looks like a cool place to check out. We enjoy trying new places and new foods. We have been to the Plant Street Market a few times. We need to go back there and try some other places.

Many years ago, my mother-in-law had a large bird (parrot) whose cage was near the kitchen. They had a neighbor who came over often and would sit at the kitchen table and talk non-stop. One morning she came over, and while she was talking, the parrot suddenly said, "Silly lady talks too much." My mother-in-law was so embarrassed! Perhaps they are smarter than we think.

Parrots are actually quite intelligent! Look up Alex the African Grey. He was able to recognize shapes and I think even textures!
I’ve always enjoyed watching your videos, but watching you guys with Jackson, and the people you both have become as parents, is on a whole other level. You both are incredible parents, and it is heartwarming to watch how you interact with Jackson. It is obvious how much you love him, you are both so kind and loving with him. He is a very lucky little one! 😍

The plant street market in winter garden is the best food hall. Also the villages is building one that seems like it will be amazing when it's opening.

Regarding the birds speaking, if you think about it, that’s how we all learn to talk. We mimic the sounds we hear. The difference is that we ultimately have the capacity to learn what those sounds mean. Whereas, birds may be able to learn that a certain sound means “food” but that is really the extent of it.

There’s a food hall in clermont! It’s called Montrose Street Market. It’s in historic downtown clermont. Pretty little town with brick roads and small family owned businesses everywhere!
Jackson is so brave feeding the goats, amazing to see he had no fear of them or the other animals!
Downtown Knoxville has a new food hall and it is awesome!
I'm not sure if I was the one who left the comment for Henry's Depot that you saw, but I'm glad you enjoyed it! Market on South is cute but very small, and there's only Dharma's and Valhalla bakery...but still worth checking out! Get the mac and cheese...so yummy!! And if you go to East End, go on a weekday because on weekends it gets super crazy hahaha
When my kids were little like Jackson we took them on kayaks where the water was calm and they sat in front of us in the kayak and we all had life vests on. They loved it so much.
I can't wait to go to C. Florida Zoo in Sanford! The guy I'm dating just moved to Orlando, so I have so many places to show him from your videos 🤭🥰 East End Market is amazing! Dochi is too good! There's an amazing food hall in Charlotte, NC, called Optimist Hall. Highly recommend to anyone in that area!
Also funfact: Cats actually do meow at their owners with meaning and purpose! Cats will make noises like hissing, yowling and chirping with other cats/their kittens. However, most meowing is actually only how they talk with humans.

Armature works in Tampa is a great food hall!! It is right near the University of Tampa and downtown on the river! I highly suggest it!! it is a local favorite!
Hi, Jackson feeding the animals and he enjoying this small adventure, so wonderful 😊 If y'all ever come to Tennessee, y'all need to go to the Alamo Tennessee Safari Park, it is awesome. You drive around and feed African animals like Zebra and Giraffe and more animals from your car, and then you park your car and see goats and see monkeys, and other animals. I guess these food halls are actually becoming a "thing." I got curious to see if there were any here in Dela"where" and just last month an article was posted that we are in fact getting one. No idea when since the project just started but pretty cool thing to do especially here in our boring home state. My dream is to move to Florida and go on all of those adventures. Im content for now living vicariously through you guys.
Next time you're there check out Fort Mellon Park, it's sooo close to that Food Hall, Jackson will love the playground there!
You might also want to try, East End Market, between Orlando and Winter Park, it is a fantastic indoor group of restaurants and specialty shops. Gideons cookies is in there.

The animals being fed was amazing. I was shocked to learn how much food the rhinos eat per day. I don’t even think a human has that much in a lifetime lol
My youngest is obsessed with Rhinos. She would love that encounter. We paid for her to adopt a rhino at our local zoo for Christmas and went to visit last month.

You will have to try the food hall that’s in Anaheim when you come out in Sept. It’s very close to Disneyland and it’s called Anaheim Packing District. It’s got tons of options. Upstairs and downstairs. And it has a really nice ambiance.

My husband use to work at a zoo so I got to be up close to many animals... lions, tigers, rhinos, etc. But i STILL would love to do a rhino encounter at a zoo

Hi. This is Holly. Whenever I go to our local Zoos, I play with the penguins or otters by dragging a tissue or something along the glass. They usually follow & mimic! Of course, I do this when it isn't too crowded to inhibit any other visitors.

I am so excited that there is a zoo where I can feed giraffes that is not that far from Orlando. How freaking exciting I'm definitely going to do that when I come down for Halloween Horror Nights
We are also annual pass holders for the Sanford zoo! Next time, try the donuts to go place before you go to the zoo. They are awesome!! Last time we went, we also forgot bathing suits, we let them play in the water and bought new clothes from the gift shop. They sell towels and water diapers there too :)

-The hall on the yard (orange/virginia)
-Lotte market food court *one of my all time favs, it's in a korean supermarket* (west colonial)
-A la carte (east colonial)
-Marketplace at avalon park
-Orlando Milkhouse (bumby)
excluded some of the ones I know ya'll have been to already like boxi park, plant street market etc.

I took my daughter to Disney for the first time when she was 2.5 yo and then went back for her 3rd birthday. She kept insisting that Mary Poppins’ horse was in the Great Movie ride and I kept telling her it wasn’t. I was shocked to realize it was in the ride que, so she was right! Amazing what their little minds remember.

Come to Steinhatchee, FL!! Very small town but a lot of boating activities you can rent. Also my family owns a restaurant in town called Kathi’s Krab Shack! Look us up! 😁

Maybe some day you can cook Jackson some cactus. I use to like it cooked with hamburger meat and onions. My mom had a big cactus plant 🪴 in California and she liked the fruit on it. It’s fun to try new foods Jackson! Maybe Miguel from coco likes cactus too! 😃🌷❤️ glad you had fun at zoo one of my favorite places to go when I was young. My favorite thing to do was talk to the howler monkeys! You have them at Animal kingdom near you. 👍🏼
