Toddler Town At The Orlando Science Center, Disney Springs Shopping & Brunch + Fun In Sanford!

- Today's vlog was a little mish mash of things that just didn't make it into other vlogs or weren't long enough for their own vlogs. We went to the Orlando Science Center for some daddy and buddy science time! We got to check out Toddler Town and Kids Town and checked out the new traveling exhibit about future technologies. It was a lot of fun! We also went to Sanford to meet up with some friends from high school but before that we checked out some shops, had some yummy ice cream and reminisced about how we wanted to buy a house boat! Then we went to Disney Springs to meet another friend for brunch, before we met up with her we did some shopping. We had brunch at STK, it wasn't great but we still had a good day! Jackson's face while trying to eat his vegetables was hilarious!
LOL'ing about eating veggies to grow enough for a roller coaster. I think we managed to increase my grandson's veggie intake for a good 6-8 months as he was trying to get tall enough for Incredicoaster. Classic parenting hack! 😂
My wife is pregnant with our first and I CAN NOT WAIT to be able to bring him to our local Liberty Science Center. I haven't been there since I was a kid and it was my absolute favorite.
Tim...you are the best dad! I just love seeing you and Jackson have father son time, playing and learning with science, Jackson is too cute! Love you guys!
Funny story. A couple year ago my husband and I went to a little science museum similar to where y’all went. There was an exhibit similar to the one y’all did where you turn the knobs and create a voltage. But with the one we went to, each person joins hands and it travels through you. We didn’t pay attention to what you do and I cranked it up A LOT and then my husband touched the piece on the table that sends the voltage into the bulb to light up and he got shocked so bad! Lesson learned. Always read the instructions first. 😂
Yay for a random activities compilation video. All this stuff must have made for super fun days. It’s amazing Jackson is old enough to really enjoy the kids science museum areas now

When Jackson is a little older, I recommend the Marbleworks toys. I had them as a kid. You build different marble raceways and seeing how much he liked the ball dropping and building, I think it is an activity that Tim and Jackson will love!

Looks like a wonderful science center. Great to see kids having fun while at same time surreptitiously learning. Truly making memories, to recall an original Epcot reference.
I love that Jackson calls Seven Dwarfs Mine Train the brown roller coaster! My son did that too and still does. He is now 5 years old but was finally tall enough when we went for his 4th birthday. We also used the veggie trick on him! 😊

We discovered Sanford after watching some of your vlogs at the German restaurant. My daughter's are absolutely in love with Mya's Bookstore and Magpies. It's definitely a must do when we're in Florida. Next on our bucket list is the food hall you featured in Sanford.

If you're ever in the Philly area, you should take Jackson to the Franklin Institute and the Please Touch Museum. He would love it! Also Sesame Place.
TIM. There was a game called Mind Flex I had as a kid and it is the same concept of that and it works I think Jackson will love it , it’s probably on Amazon maybe when he’s older , Show it to Jen tooo!
Always enjoy watching anywhere Jackson can go, and just be creative, and free. :) This is a perfect example of kids having so much fun exploring, they don't even realize they're learning. Reminds me of Epcot in the 90's, the time i miss so MUCH!!!! I love German food, and since I don't drive, Biergarten in Epcot used to be a "must do" for me every single trip - but I sure wish I could try YOUR German place, for sure!! Both of your ice cream choices sound REALLY good! I remember when you went into that store, and showed all the really cool vintage Disney merch - so cool! Wow - those prices at STK woulda made me lose my appetite! :( And yes - I['ve always heard it's VERY expensive, and VERY loud.

We recently went to Sanford to Elev8 at Seminole town center and did a little exploring. I would love to go Sanfording with you guys and do the surrey bikes.
I grew up going to the "museum of science and discovery" in Ft Lauderdale FL and always absolutely LOVED IT!!! As a child it was SOOOO cool! I also brought my children in their youth to the "new & upgraded " museum and they always loved it. I think these museums are so cool and integral for youths and o enjoy them as adults as well

They had twin girls Olivia and Annabelle in December born prematurely at 32 weeks. They are doing great.
Jackson will be able to relate or make the connections to what he’s experienced at the science centre when he goes to school, whether it’s home school or public school. So no worries if you don’t have the time to explain it to him right there.

We are in Florida once a year. At least prior the pandemic. We are german, I have to look up the german restaurant, for our summer trip. So interesting.
When we were in San Francisco we went to the science museum had such great fun ! Too much to do this year but I’m putting it on my 2023 visit x
A lot of science centres have a program that accepts other science Center memberships, might be something to look out for those out of owners that have one

Glad you two enjoyed the Science Center so much!! I would definitely be prepared if your thinking of going anytime soon though, because lately we’ve been getting roughly 500 school kids every weekday on field trips, so it’s been a little chaotic 😅😅

Next time you guys are in tampa for more than an afternoon, you should look in to the hands on museum there. Glazer Children's Museum. My girls loved going there when we would stay in tampa for a weekend.
I was just at boathouse a few weeks ago and get the crab cakes and coconut shrimp and fish and I did the amphicar for the the first time

You should check out the shell factory and nature park in North Fort Myers FL, the teddy bear museum in Naples FL,and the bubble room in Captiva FL.

We're here at the moment on our honeymoon and we went to brown Derby yesterday and I had the cobb salad jen , it was absolutely delicious! We've also been to wine bar george and had the steak frittes yum yum yum , anywhere else you can suggest

Research found that little kids and toddlers food preferences align with mom’s pregnancy diet. Jackson might tolerate spicy food more than assumed. This was the case with my youngest. To this day loves spicy stuff.
I haven’t heard anything good about any of the STK restaurants. Such a shame. Hopefully your next Disney Springs Dining Experience was better!

Funny when you guys were at the museum and noticed how Jackson doesn’t stay at one exhibit long enough to take it in because of his age well I can tell you that doesn’t change for years! At least from observing my boys as they grew older and we went to these hands on museums. They’re like the balls in a pinball machine all over the place lol.

STK is SO expensive for what it is. I got the cheapest steak there with my friends and a side not realizing no sides were included. Easily over $60 for a meh meal. I haven't gone back.
