Love watching Josh working . Love to hang around him all day and take in all of his knowledge . He makes things look so easy . What a lovely couple you make . You have gone so far in your build . It won't be too long before you hit 200,000 subs . You guys sure have saved a bundle by doing all the work yourselves . Taking care of 3 kids and a farm is a lot of work . My hat goes off to the both of you . It's great that Erin works with Josh . I'll bet it makes him a happy man with her by his side .
Power in the house, and water too! When you think back to when y'all got there..nothing but bare land, to where you are now..flick a switch for lights, and water in the building, it lets you know how far you have come, and again, will make things fly now, just plug in equipment..no dragging out a gen, no filling it and such. Loved the kids walking in, thinking those guys(you parents) are being weird again(laughing your heads off) but some funny stuff ;) Chucky loves the house now too! May you have a blessed and happy Labor Day, and all the days after as well.
Oh guys you kill me. Love the time you take to show and explain what you are doing and why. And the obvious fun you have doing this build. Throw in the sense of humor you both have and I laugh till I cry watching your vids. Awesome stuff.
from the look of it... josh is a competent electrical installation person, he knows what he is doing and top of he can really teach viewers the installation... good jobb done...
Thanks, Josh, for showing us a bit of how not to let the smoke out of the wires. Major milestone! Things should continue to progress nicely. Keep on keepin' on.
I love the way you both talk to each other... your house is really amazing, but you both and your way as partners is what it most attracts me to follow you... congrats for such a huge effort in getting your house done... keep on going !!!

I really appreciate watching Josh fit out the electrical boxes. I chronically cut my leads too short and end up fighting with the switches and outlets. Our old house has really shallow boxes. I think next time, I'll just replace them if I can!
Getting close. Josh is just like my pops. My pops is 75yrs old and has done electrical his whole life. My pops is way particular in doing the work. Neat wiring in the panel boxes no mess. The wire runs from the power house to the house are long but straightforward. Even the screws for the plates for the switches have to sit exactly right. And can't forget about the hand cramps!
Ha ha love that 3 small folk arrived just after the joke about who their parents were. Little touch of awkward laughter! Honestly though you guys work well as a team and it looks like it will be a sweet life there I am envious. Well done.
You two are an amazing couple. Reminds me of the relationship I share with my wife of over 20 years. Having said that, "And none of them are his" was one sick burn! :)
My husband and I love watching you two, you're sweet and honest. Hubby thought the kiss was perfect, showed us that you really love each other. You two are the perfect pair. Thank you for bringing us along in your adventures.
Her husband knows all about electricity... he must be a graduate of Electrical Engineering. His wife among her other chores, helps out her husband build their house... also homeschools her children. Great job you two, you’re an amazing couple & parents.
You two are by far my favorite RUclips channel to watch. One little thing for you to keep an eye on is when you use plastic female threaded plumbing connectors and metal male connectors the female connectors can split and then they will leak. Ask me how I know. Everything else looks top notch.
Agree!!! The lightbulb story! You guys are so refreshing to watch and your interaction is priceless. May God see you growing old together for decades, healthy and in love!
They are going to have to be more careful. People are going to drop their phones. Laughing. OMG Did she just say that? Yes. Yes she did. (She got a spanking later :-O)

Thanks for the laughs guys, great work as usual you smashed it out, your window looks like it's a museum picture now with the lights above it...and lil chuckie looks so happy to be in the house...😊
Congrats on lights! Somewhere along the build series, you guys will have to give us some back history on what your lives were like before the build, i.e. where did you live, how did you decide off-grid was the right choice, your interests and desires, etc.
Excellent work. I am the same way with my wall plates the screws HAVE to be vertical, haha. I drives me nuts if they are not. I get so happy when you guys upload a new video! I could watch you guys all day. Keep the awesome videos coming. I LOVE THEM!!!

Wow that AFrame is electrifying and the energy is flowing WILD between you two LOLOLOL. As far as being concerned about the water pipe to the house underneath the house how about putting up some plywood and create a box with insulation around the water pipe below the house. At least it would help the pipes from freezing maybe??? God bless and Happy Labor Day ya'll!!!

It is common to test water lines with air and a pressure gauge. If the gauge pressure drops, there is a leak. Lots less messy if there are any leaks.
