I started crying when you got home and your puppy was standing there. Every day when I am having a horrible route, I know at the end of it I get to go home and hug my doggy and she’s so excited when I get home and it’s the best part of my day!
Pro Tip I use to minimize the time going to the back of the van is flattening my first tote and placing it on the passenger seat. It allows me to fit all the envelopes and small boxes on the passenger seat and easy to access.
I would always do my top tote first so i can flatten it and toss all the packages there, then bottom and empty those so i can put all the flatten ones in the bottom tote

I started doing the seat belt trick the other day and have been getting 5 green stars ever since on my mentor app. I appreciate you going the extra mile to record and explain everything and staying positive along the way.

i will be honest, its all fun and games, but the homie in this video (mad respect to him) is a content creator, and his job is to make it seem fun, i worked as a dsp driver for 2+ years and it was hell, yes i was the fastest driver in company, yes i was favored, yes my own schedule was flexible but 90% of you wont have that, and even with all these small priviligas it was hell, rain, snow , sun you still gotta delivery, you come back home all sore and tired, sure its a nice schedule having 4 work days vs 3 days off but its not worth it imo, if the pay would be 23+ maybe, but i worked for 18 and that was the cap in my company, bu again that is my own experince
Chris... he wans't calling the van a prison... he was calling it a prison van. Meaning the type of van that is used to transport prisoners. They are usually stripped down, without many features.
Ever since becoming an amazon driver one of my favorite people in the world are those who leave gifts or snacks. They don't do it for cameras, to make themselves look good, just to be nice :D
Another great video. I don't ever plan to be a delivery driver, but I always wondered what they did. I found your channel a few weeks ago, and I'm hooked. Your videos are so entertaining. You have a great personality. :)
I was delivering in the upper hills of Mill Valley, California when that really big storm hit a few weeks back. I was in a white Promaster rental luckily. 65mph+ wind gusts and the heaviest rain I’ve experienced. I may just be crazy but I had a great time. Every customer was out of power and I took every delivery very cautiously until finally dispatch told us to RTS. I still had over 150 packages in my van and I was soaking wet even though I was decked out head to toe in North Face rainwear. Insane they even had us go out in the first place when weather radar predicted severe flooding and recommended nobody should drive.
Damn your vans clean, the dsp I was working for had the most beat up vans, literally falling apart, always told us to just never report any issues on the van and just have them " fix it" but they wouldn't even touch it, hated working for amazon well atleast my dsp, vans were always full of trash nasty, and the routes were absolutely awful, watching your videos makes me think I was just unlucky tbh
I've done all the jobs. Driving is the second best. The first is casino life because they promote from within and it never gets cold or rains inside and is always action
He is not organized with his packages he should be lining them up in order he will wast so much time trying looking for addresses. The packages are numbered in order
I notice you just going into businesses and dropping the package off without taking a pic or getting a signature... How are you completing those stops?
As a delivery driver down here in the "great" state of Florida. I'd trade delivering in snow any day for delivering in this heat. It's so hot out they had to turn off EOC so we can leave our vans running between stops. Even still, the ac doesn't reach the back of the vans, so it's still well over 100 degrees while in the back sorting through totes. I'd rather deal with the cold than going home with a uniform drenched in sweat at the end of each day lol.
What do you DO? When there is an Amazon locker and customer notes ask for front door delivery. I usually deliver to the locker. Especially when I have a lot.
Your videos have motivated me to look for a job as a package delivery person. Unfortunately here in Europe they earn very little by delivering... GLS, DPD, Hermes, UPS... only DHL earns well... in America I read that delivery earn about 3000 dollars a month, is that true?
Yes that is very true and that might be lowest amount you can make! Here in America delivering packages, food, mail, tools anything that involves delivering pays quite alot! And of course how much you get paid is depended on how many hours you put in a week:) my husband works about 37-38 hours week 4 days a week doing Amazon delivery at $21 an hour

FedEx and UPS have been driving those step vans for years. Amazon recently got into them for about two years now.
I loved the sprinters, if you know how to pack it right 406 fits in there pretty snug but you have room to move, not a lot but there’s room
You should get a bin/tote and use that to organize your envelopes in the front passenger seat. Just a thought ... it definitely helps!

I’m with the other driver; I hate the step vans! Much prefer a sprinter or cargo van. FedEx Express driver here.
I love the trucks. So much room for activities
I thought the step van looks better than the other truck. It does need a larger cargo space to make it look better.
