Sushi Ben looks fun. I'm definitely going to get it at something. I wish we could get a farming sim set in sushi Ben's world. Thanks, jammy!

Rendering clarity in VR is almost always a function of rendering HIGHER than the display resolution. Since the lenses (which are glorified magnifying lenses) distort the image, the rendered image is pre-distorted so that it balances out and does not look distorted when viewing. But the center of the display is 'stretched' to occupy more of the pixels. So typically you render ~70% MORE pixels than the native resolution of the display (though there are many other factors). For a 4K display, this is a LOT more pixels than even flat-screen (~13M vs ~8M pixels), and often with higher framerates! This is why simple games tend to be able to do this.
It was the same on PSVR1, where games like Infinite Minigolf (a mobile phone port) also had abnormally sharp resolution compared to its contemporaries.
Foveated rendering can lower the effective pixel counts needed (significantly), and often the edges of the display can be "trimmed" into a binocular shape, reducing pixels further. But these require implementated by game-makers and are not automaticly enabled features. Still it is a critical feature, which should help PSVR success on PC: it DRAMATICALLY lowers the cost, enabling VR for older hardware for supported games -- not only is PSVR2 a cheap headset, it also allows for significantly cheaper PC hardware!
A PS5 Pro will enable nearly ALL PSVR2 games to render at these levels of sharpness, due to the uptick in bandwidth and computation. This is similar to PS4 Pro that significantly sharpened games like Farpoint.
