Hi boss, my charger base is not working. I want to try if I can replace the 25VDC/0.5A plug to a non-Electrolux one which cost much cheaper. But I can't figure out the wire polarity. Do you happen to know the polarity of the base?
User manual state that: 1 blue blinking light: battery capacity - empty 2. If a red light is lit: Unit is too hot. Clean filters, brush roll, hose and put on charge. I hope this is useful.
@@CTB6 Everything is completely clean. When I put it to charge, a few minutes later a steady red light comes on. When I take it out of the charger and start it, the engine starts for 0.5 seconds and then turns off and doesn't start again. The batteries were changed and the main board was replaced and the engine is in perfect condition. What could this be?
Mine after battery replacement, the charging light blink a short while when put to charge, the charging will turn back on all at once after a few mins for a short while only when left ti charge. Wonder why?
I recommend to buy new handheld unit, plastic motor can break any time soon, bms module can be damaged by bad soldering and handheld unit cost 49€ for any 14.4V / 18V ErgoRapido model (AEG | Electrolux), so you save time and money, old handheld unit you can keep for extra spare parts 🫰
I’m quite certain that the price for electronics is getting cheaper over time. However, the Repair culture seems not a common habit around the world. I hope the repair culture will be revive just like the good old days. The use and throw concept really does more harm than good. Please consider repair as an option.
@@CTB6 buying bms module for 30€ and then batteries for another 30-50€ or damaged motor for 36€ is no go zone, 49€ handheld unit and those parts are already manufactured, so buy handheld unit is go for future repair if you need spare part from old 🫰

Normally the side is negative. Centre is positive.

Try refer to the video again. I will try to refer to which minute do you refer to.
Hi. Do you know what thermistor is needed? I have an Electrolux EER75STM 18V. thanks.
I think you need to write in to Electrolux. Alternatively the NTC thermistor looks like any ordinary NTC found online.
It looks like a NTC thermistor. Try write in to Electrolux for certain.
@@CTB6 Thank you for the idea. I will try that. Thanks!
Do you know anything about Tennant brand cordless vacuum cleaners?
It is a new brand?
When I press the on button on my ERG23, it doesn't work and LED 1 keeps blinking. Can you tell me what the problem is? Thanks.

Hi Liew, I've just changed the batteries, put to charge, LED blinks for about 1-2 minutes then off it goes... have you encountered such issue?
I think you have the same issue as shown. Check if you have connected the battery correctly.

After i replaced battery, vacuum cleaner shows that charging in in progress, but after many hours it's not working. Why it happens?
It is fully charged?
Replace with AA batteries?
Lol… it won’t last for long.
