Another great video by Michele Lennon and Team! Not a monetary cost, but a cost I wish I had considered more, is the cost of giving up free time, vacations, etc. I do still travel and get pet sitters when I go out and do things (which costs money), but in my retirement, I thought I would be traveling and getting out more....Still glad I have my dog (priceless), but I've given up some of my freedom.
I always enjoy your videos and the methods that you teach. My question to you is, do we really need an insurance for a puppy? If yes, can you pls give an example of what an coverages at minimum one should have.
Thanks for watching! Great question. We highly recommend pet insurance, but there can be different levels, companies and different plans that may fit your situation, or your puppy's situation, better than others. Give this video a watch, it's all about pet insurance and what we recommend! 👉ruclips.net/video/YMC5GVhE0wo/видео.htmlsi=6_WUvUpwd0UJYFl_
When I was shopping rates I found that most companies offer 2 or 3 options. There will be your basic coverage (I already used it and was glad I had it), then a comprehensive plan which covers all routine visits, vaccinations, etc. That plan will cost a lot more, double or more than the basic plan.
What should I ask or look for when looking for a dog groomer? I've been going to the vet groomer, but it's very expensive. There are some others where I live that do it out of their house or have a traveling thing, but we didn't have the best experience at one...
Thanks for watching! 🐶💰 Do you have any questions for us when it comes to puppy costs?
I live alone and with less time to cook and shop I’m spending quite a bit in delivery services. Might want to factor that into the budgeting.
Good point!
