I am a mother of 3 children and I was born with a cleft lip and palate. Life was not always easy and there will always be some strange and uncomfortable situations that will let us know that we are "different" and feels very painful. But I'm still proud of who I am because all those experiences forms my wonderful character and let me know what is really worth in life (maybe more than most other people). Greetings from Germany and Im very proud that there is somebody like you Carmit whos having such a big thing going on. No matter what.

From cleft family to you THANK YOU this song is amazing. Needs to b on iTunes so much. For others that don't know or has never been affected by cleft or antithetical birth defect listen up. These babies go through a lot feeding,sickness,ear infections a lot and I know personally a lot of surgeries. My daughter had two major surgeries by 10 months old and we luckily only have one more to go. Some has as much as 20-30 in their life. She's amazing and a great role model for younger kids that is affected by this.

I didn't know that. What a cool piece of trivia. I read about PCD, and I know Carmit left because Nicole was was the only one singing and she even had a separate tour bus from the other girls. That could be because they didn't like her, though.

Found this on a search of her. Always one of my favorite PCD’s, just loved her energy and vibe on screen. The video that drew me to her was “Dontcha”..been smitten ever since. Good on you Carmit, keep on smilin...just a shame that you forgot to marry me!! LOL
Her voice is so good. A unique silky tone, anyone would think she is a black singer, that’s what makes this amazing!!!! PCD has one of a kind voices, this time it will be even more iconic.
