- The results are in!! Do my Stanley Tumblers contain lead? I ordered this lead test for my Stanley tumblers on Amazon. Let me know if you need the 🔗. It appears the tumblers testing positive may have been damaged. I’m wondering if it could be contents on the cup as well. City water can contain lead along with beverages made with city water. That’s what many are being washed with and filled with. I’m not sure if that would be enough for the test though. Especially in cases where 3 brands are tested and only Stanley is positive. Use your best judgment. I’m no expert. Show your friends that want to know and join me for the all year deals. I have a deal to post soon for 💲3️⃣5️⃣ back when you snag one of these tumblers!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Also, it’s on the bottom of the Stanley cups not the inside😊
i saw someone test the bottom and it was also negative
@@omniaaaaathere is a protective bit on the bottom blocking it which you CAN break off
No it’s inside the cup it’s only harmful if the bottom gets broken
That's true
True
It’s a pallet on the bottom of the cup that helps vacuum seal the whole cup and keep it insulated. Not the inside.
It’s in the bottom seal
Luckily the bottom tested negative as well.
@@goglitchdealspeople say the bottom seal has to be damaged for the lead to come out
@@goglitchdealsits in the inside of the button on the bottom
i don’t get y people make a big deal about it being on the bottom. like oh yeah let me just drink from the bottom
@@Marykate-lf9yvif u damage the bottom not drink.
“Don’t always believe the internet hype”
- lady with three Stanleys
😂🤣😂🤣 One is my husbands so I don’t think 2 is bad. 😅
@@goglitchdealsmusta got hit hard being a reseller now you gotta clear the air I see what you’re doing here
there’s a little circle on the bottom of it and if you break it or take it out then that’s what can cause lead poisoning but just don’t break it or take it out and it’ll be OK hope it helps to make you understand.❤❤❤
Thank you.
@@goglitchdeals your welcome (☞͡͡°͜ʖ͡͡°)☞
they do contain led but it only starts projecting led when it breaks! so it is not harmful! stay safe!
Thanks!
We all know that the cup has lead in like the bottom, but she tested the inside because that’s the part that the water is actually touching so unless you’re drinking out of the bottom of your cup for some odd reason you’ll survive 😂
This! I did test the bottom and it was negative. I just didn’t include it because it would be too long.
she did not just say don’t trust the Internet type whenever she has three Stanleys
@@junepark8544she still has the third one whether it was for this video or not
Yeah, but she clearly gets them for the outdoors. What they’re supposed to be used for.
She had one from before the hype
😂🤣 One is my husbands. I think 2 is reasonable. 😆
@@SpaceCats07 exactly. They’re just outdoor cups, like Yeti. It’s not always a basic white girl thing.
Yeti uses lead and literally almost every insulated cup uses lead in their sealing process the tap water has lead in it
Hydroflask and owala say hi
Omg those colors are so cute and I got that one for myself because it’s so pretty
Ok so reading these comments are helping so much. The past few days I've had a weird taste in my stanley and it's with any drink, but especially water. And I thought it was the water at first, but I tried the water in different cups.. and it was water from multiple places. Then I was reading through and I saw multiple people say that when it drops & if I breaks then that's when the lead can "come out" if you will. So it looks like I'm ordering lead testers and possibly a new stanely
I think some people forgot how serious lead posioning gets. Like omg its a stanley we r so trendy. But one fall can maybe end it all.
The new one looks like T.S lover album im obsessed!!!!
It’s only in the bottom in that little circle compartment it’s not in the actual cup so no one is drinking lead if it’s stored properly it’s fine like how it is stay safe
You Stanley’s are so beautiful! Way better than the people who get plain colors
Thank you! I was surprised the winter collection wasn’t more of a hit. I like it better than the Valentines ones people were fighting over. 😂
@@goglitchdeals so true. I’m definitely a winter girly and those winter cups are just adorable
I got my husband the black one. 😍😍
@@goglitchdeals I always find it funny when guys get Stanley’s! They don’t see it the way we do, but that’s still an awesome gift
@@goglitchdeals How are you not embarrassed over this video
The fact people are destroying Stanley’s that are worth $40-$200 that’s just crazy to mr
This!!! I saw nurses all throwing them a way. I just wanted to go dumpster dive there. 😂😂😂
Rumor started by competition, for sure!!!!!!
There’s a pallet on the bottom you need to rub that will release the lead or if you dent it at the bottom it can release it.
There’s led inside of the bottom. That’s were it all go’s. Even the company said so, so they don’t get sued. If you turn your cup upside down there’s a pallet on the bottom. You take it off and then test that. Bc the company said that’s were it all go’s. ❤
I would check the staw sometimes people dont wash the staw and mold builds up in it
I love my straw cleaner!
Thanks for the info
not "internet hype" stanley has said they out lead at the bottom of their cups.. and for someone that says dont trust internet hype you sure have alot of items the internet is hyping up.
The led is on the bottom of the cup in between the outside and the inside layer. It’s in the middle of two layers so that’s why if it’s broken, the led will release into the cup.
TY!
It’s on the bottom and it only gets exposed when it’s been damaged!!
I have the same white and gold one
Ok this might be random but my mom works for something like that just a heads for yall the led is on the bottom and if u peel sm on the bottom the led will get in the cup or if u break it so they do contain led but your ok!
ALL WATER BOTTLES HAVE LEAD IN THEM MY GOD!!!!
I don't think they were talking about the inside of the cup. I think they were talking about the paint that they use to paint the outside of the cup has lead in it or some of the colors have lead in it
finally somebody who gets it
wait its on the bottom?! I LIKED THE BOTTOM TO PROVE NOTHINGS IN THERE AND THE PAINT WAS PEELING OFF GOODBYE 😍
You have to go all the way down to the bottom with all of them not just the new one. I feel like that’s cheating who wants a new version of the video done right?
👇
Take off. The sticker on the bottom and there is a little hole test that
there is this little pallet at the bottom inside the stanley that the led poisoning is in. someone from the stanley crew even admitted there was led poisoning but only if that pallet breaks
It’s only on the part on the bottom with the logo but it only has lead if the paint peels off the circle
It’s at the bottom of the cup underneath the little Stanley logo there is a pellet of led
The lead is underneath the little circle on the bottom of the cup.
It’s a small amount in the inside of the bottom palette the round stanley logo if that comes off ( very unlikely) but it’s the vacuum seal that holds the whole cup together
There’s a little capsule at the bottom which contains lead, I saw someone who had broken the top off the capsule and tested it. There was a LOT of lead
They do contain lead but it isn't harmful 😊
I agree. I’m glad they tested negative and I’m not worried if it’s inside the cup. 😊
@@goglitchdealsyou tested the wrong part btw me and my friend did it on a new one on the logo inside and bottom and the logo and bottom were positive the inside was not still not a good idea to have something with led in it around a kid that young tho but I can’t tell you how to parent
@goglitchdeals its not in the cup that's why it's only when u break it is dangerous. Look at the bottom. There should be a circle like thing and thats where u can test for lead
why do you need 3 stanlies...@@goglitchdeals
@rachelprichard5200 yes but those cups are expensive and I feel like it's a waste not being able to use it if you damage it
can you see what happens and what it looks like when you mix up the lids for the stanley
it’s to keep it cold. it doesn’t effect people unless the they open the bottom
BTW the lead will only be exposed if the bottom pallet falls off (Stanley confirmed this) thanks for reading this
there’s a little circle in the bottom that has lead in it, but its sealed and shouldn’t come out unless you dent that specific spot
You should do the pallets on the bottom
The lead is on the bottom of the cup under the metal Circle
How did you get the warm serene brushstrokes Stanley that hasn’t been in stock for weeks!?
Yea test the bottom please bc it’s at the bottom *only if it chips or smth ❤❤
It is in the circle on the bottom of the Stanley has led in it
The internet is true your cups just aren’t broken. Basically if the bottom breaks lead will go into the cup and that means it time to throw it away. The cups you have obviously won’t have lead because they aren’t broken. It’s still good to test them when you can just to make sure but test the bottom of the inside or the very bottom next time to be super sure.
You did not just say, " dont believe the internet hype." When you have a whole ass Stanley collection for no reason other than the internet. The irony is crazy.
😂🤣 I have 2 and my husband has one. It would have been the same price to buy bottled water than to fill my cup free every day.
It’s at the bottom of the Stanley cup with a metal seal over it so it’s not gonna kill you unless you popped that seal off
So glad!!
guys it’s only on the bottom when you break it.
No one on the Internet ever said it was on the inside it’s on the bottom under the stopper
Stanley: yea we go lead
Her: don’t believe everything
Can you guys explain to me how to open the circle in the bottom pls
You’re testing the wrong area lovely, it’s on the bottom on the outside is where you test
Omg I’m so sorry I’m so done with hearing this about Stanley’s 😭 mine is fine as long as my boot is covering it
It is on the bottom where they have the logo there is a pallet of lead
Its on the inner sealed walls of the cup
let me explain this:
The lead is only on the bottom where that little circle is that says “Stanley” with the logo on it. The lead can only be released if it undergoes serious damage.
so therefore unless you run over it or do something to break the cup the lead can’t be released.
I'm not copying the person who comment below me but yes it is on the bottom not in the inside
There is a SMALL content of lead in the BOTTOM. If the lil cover on the bottem comes off THEN you are exposed to lead BUT the company says it took a lot for the bottoms to come off SO YOU R ALLLLL SAFE
Y'all Stanley's are perfectly safe nobody has died from it and yes lead is used but it is covered with steel so unless broken it's fine
Im pretty sure you have to break the stanley on the bottom to get led exposure.
Omg there are other cups that about everyone uses has lead in them and. Stanley’s have been around for YEARS and you’re just figuring this out now. Tbh idrc abt the lead only bc it’s the size of the top of a needle 😅
Only if it brakes bc it is used to seal the bottom of the cup
And Stanley has confirmed the cup can leak lead. FROM THE BOTTOM UNDER THE DOT.
It’s under the cover is a plug plug They said if the cover comes off stop using it
It’s on the bottom in in between the metal inside and outside
It is on the pallet on the bottom with the logo
It’s not just in the inside its also on the bottom of the stanley just to let you know 😊
The led is only on the bottom so if there is led on your stanley it goes no where near your mouth 😊
It does have lead just only when you density it releases lead
GUYS! IF THE STANLEYS HAD LED IN THEM THEY WOULD BE DISCONTINUED! SO THEY WOULDNT BE SELLING THEM ANY MORE!
i believed it bc it’s at the way bottom my teacher did a test on her stanley and there was led
Where did you get that multicolored one
It's on the bottom of the cup the circle
It’s on the BOTTOM!
The lead is on the bottom but like they said it’s only bad if you break it
It's the circle at the bottom of the cup
It’s on the bottom
I had the One you opened
Amazing! But the lead is under the stanley logo at the bottom of the cup!
I have the white one that you have in the vid ❤❤❤❤
Little circle piece in the bottomof the Stanley If that comes out, then you're exposed to Lead
Even if it’s a dent in the side should I stop using it?
We all know it’s on the bottom but it’s only dangerous if it gets where your water is so assuming that you’re not drinking water from the bottom of your Stanley, you’ll be OK 😂 but if you want to test your cups, feel free
Came back negative cause the lead is on the bottom of the cup. Not the inside😂
You have to dip the test in vinegar first the test the bottom of the cup
its in the bottom seal😊
it’s located at the bottom of the cup
It is true that Stanley’s contain lead, but it it hidden behind a thin layer of steel so as long as the cup is not damaged you will be fine. Also try testing the bottom of the cup
You have to look on the bottom foe the lead
It is on the bottom of the cup😂❤😊
Yeah umm the led is in the bottom circle at the very bottom of the cup not the insidd
And actually a lot of metal cup brands use medal in the welding process there is metal in something I am not for sure what it’s called
⚠️⛔️⚠️BOTTOM LINE THEY SHOULDNT MAKE CUPS WITH LEAD‼️‼️ THE END 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
It’s on the bottom of the cup just peel off the little sticker
Bro u ha e to put water in it and test the water
Ofc you have a Stanley
Ofc you have a Fortnite pfp
