Yes, this is the Mercedes equivalent to the 911 Turbo S. I would love the convertible version, parked beside my 997.2 Turbo Coupe. This is an amazing machine! Thanks for bringing this to us objectively.

Nice one buddy. V8 is the ultimate accessible engine ! (Would love the expensive Italian V12 King..) but I m like you, still in love with 991
As cool as it is it’s just obnoxious. My Turbo S with a Tubi exhaust is loud enough but does not upset my neighbors or the HOA.
The good thing is that every time i start it the valves are closed and i can open them whenever i want :). So if want it quit , just drive in comfort and will be super quiet

Hope Mario falls in love with this one for the long haul. I went from an Audi RS7, to a Tesla Model 3 Performance to a Carrera 4s and then fell in love with a 991 TT (all within 18 months). Got demolished on trade in for Tesla. It was a costly lesson, but I get it. Very unique car. Only have seen one in person. Enjoy!

I'm a Porsche guy too but it's ok to like other cars. Mercedes build great quality cars and this AMG GTS is no exception. Gotta love German engineering.

Im a car guy , not married to any brand yet. Porsche was awesome, having a 997 and a 991 i think it was enough for me and time to look into something different.

@@Windoh hey, no i don't have it anymore, sold it and got an amg gtr then sold it and just got an R8. On the GTS I did downpipes , that made the difference on the popping

As exclusive as the Merc is and no matter what the performance figures suggest I’m afraid the look of the car leaves me cold..Porsche aways have that je ne sais quoi over their rivals, they’re just in my blood

German cars are welcome. While that Merc is amazing. It must be noted that the RSR consistently beats them on the track!!! Just sayin’. Power to weight advantage=“C-YA”. Be good James. Remember, she will be home soon. Lol. Take care friend.
I hate to say it but if your car just has a tune, it’s no we’re near 700hp. I have the same stage 2 custom tune from eurocharger on my GTS and its around 640-660hp. You need to change out the down pipe and turbos to get to 700hp.
Its around 640-660hp? Have u put your car on the dyno? On paper the car said it came with 503hp but it only pushed 476whp on the tires. So basically gained 113hp with just tune and downpipes. 725hp to engine
I'm curious on the estimated 0-60 time after the tune & downpipe mods?
Me 2 lol. Theres a feature in the car that tells u 0-60 , 0-100, etc, unfortunately right now here in Minnesota is in the lower 30F and cant do 0-60 runs yet since i have summer tires. But we will take it out this summer and try it :)
