2022 BMW X3 LCI - Full Tour & Review!!

- BMW has pulled the wraps off the facelifted (LCI) version of their X3 and X4 both in regular and M guise and i got a chance to look at this $49k X3 30i xDrive without the M Sport package. Styling wise, the X3 and X4 both gain new LED headlights as well as a new more angular bumper treatment. The X3 gets all new lobster claw LED taillights as well and there are also new color options as well as wheels like these 19in Y spokes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🏁 @Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: The powertrains remain the same as well. For this 30i spec, we have a 2.0L Turbo 4 making 248HP in either AWD or RWD, sending power through an 8 speed gearbox. The X3 M40i In-line 6 gains a new 48v mild hybrid system. 🏁

As it is just an LCI (life cycle impulse) or a facelift, not much is new other than the minor styling tweaks. Inside does gain the newer BMW center console, new iDrive 7 system, new gauge cluster and optional Live Cockpit professional, and redesigned climate controls… otherwise it’s the same. Build quality is great as usual but for $49k this one felt sparse inside and out as it lacked things like the Executive Package, M Sport and others. The X3 remains a solid buy but this LCI is just a little update before we wait for an all new version within 3 years.

My new X3 Xline is ordered. In the UK the car shown is mid range spec being XLine, which is kinda 'Sport' spec ( and drops in around $64K here so alot more expensive in the UK ). The color choice was limited so had to go for a dark metallic grey/graphite ( current car silver which is nicer ). Not sure how many Whatnots come with the LCI here in the UK but I didn't get any at all with my current 2019 model car. Guess we will see when it's delivered...hope there's at least a couple cos I do love a Whatnot!

nice video, however the black one you showed is not Msport package - was going to get e 2022 x3 as my 2019 x3 lease is up but you cant order the parking assistance package with the 2022 unless you order the X3M40i - you can get that package with 2022 X4 - which is what i just ordered - hope you do a video on the x4 soon

believe it or not you can fit 5 whatnots inside this car pretty comfortably.

Be careful which BMW dealership you go to these days! They are desperate and unscrupulous. Otto’s BMW in Ottawa Canada, just offered me a sum of $2,000 for my 2013 X3 with 100,000 miles. Then they thought I would get another one? Would you, does it make any sense? It’s the 3rd vehicle I got from that place and get treated with such disgusting behaviour, Iike racketeers!

I ordered one a week ago and was told that and adaptive cruise control isn’t available, chip shortage.

that’s what everyone says about new bmw and same people keep buying them
