Oh man, that coffee intro is making me way nostalgic ... takes me back to my first video of yours I saw back in 2016! I do love these casual long flights of yours, can't wait to start my own flying this year!
Cannot wait to start actual training at Pinnacle Paramotor! I did a little ground handling and forward launch running on my own today and had a couple great runs, along with a few mistakes. Getting better each time though, and following along helps a lot!
After watching you for 2 years and liking MOST, of your videos. I did my first XC in my powered hang glider today, 72k to a town with an ultra blue lake. Great Day! Thanks for the inspiration🍺😎👍
honestly love dressing up warmly to get into the cold air. shorts in summer is great, but there's something special about the crisp winter air for cross country paramotor.
There are two separate categories, supported and unsupported. Having someone follow in an RV would put him in the supported class, which I don't think Tucker would want.
Ive noticed the lower pitch rumble comes from the Helix style prop. The 140 does exacerbate that some but e-props seem to have a higher wispy kind of sound. The Helix is more pleasing to my ear personally.
THX Tucker for yet another awesome instructional video... can't wait to get my equipment all set and broken in, and to hit the air again, still slowly trickling in (got my helm, harness/motor, still waiting for the wing and the radio)... By the way, i really appreciate your reverence to TFH in Cali, an awesome group of folks...
You should get skiing pocket/glove/boot warmers. Its disposable little packets that stay warm for a long time. Totally safe to touch. It's even in the camping section at Wally World and they're cheap. Most ppl call em Pocket Warmers.
Haven't watched the full vid yet... but we all saw you flexing the Rancilio and the Niche grinder. I'm not sure if I'm more jealous now of your espresso setup or your paramotor shenanigans...
ahh, the older you get the lower your tolerance for cold miserable flying. I remember flying in the winter weeks after I got my certificate, flying in a wind chill of -20. Only did that once.
Ain't that the truth! My motorcycle and paramotor get put away the 2nd week of October up here in MA, usually. I haven't flown or ridden since August this year, lol. I bitch when it's below 80. I belong in Florida! I keep telling my wife, but it falls on deaf ears ... 😂
I whole hardheartedly agree, you need to get out of there and move to a warmer climate! I absolutely HATE winter, December through February is a descent into hell after freezing over.
I enjoy those flights as well - a bit of destination flying (parks) but a a nice cross country loop! Speed bar video is coming it sounds like. That's what I'm curious about, how much fuel burn with your set up with full speed bar and level flight. Great video!
Tucker, we have an active PPG community in western Washington. You’re officially invited to stay in my lakeside Airbnb and fly the Olympic mountains this summer with some fun peeps. Send me a message to set it up!
My man! Thanks again for another great vid! I'm sincerely jealous, bro😜 I am about to celebrate 17 years married and have 5 kids, all of which negatively affected my chances of paramotor flying. But, hey, keep the vids coming and I'll try not to let it unravel me too bad😎
One day the kids will be adults - it's never too late! I don't have any kids, but will have been married 19 years this coming May. I took my first flight on my paramotor in 2021. At this stage in my life it was a much-needed morale boost. Been a LONG time since I've had something I looked forward to, like when I was a kid! 😎
Nice seeing you upping your game with the espresso machine. When you're ready for a serious upgrade... get a La Marzocco GS/3. I have the commercial La Marzocco Strada EP in my basement kitchen. Next time you're in Draper, let me know and I'll bring you the best cup of coffee you've ever had. :D
Would you ever consider buying a drone or two, start it up in " follow" mode, to record yourself from an additional point of view? It would add another viewpoint to your excellent videos! Anyway, keep making them, and Thank you for sharing.
IMPRESSIVE fuel burn! That's incredible! MUCH better mileage (flying trims out) than my slower-in-every-way beginner wing with a Talon 190 3.0. VERY efficient setup! I'm still blown away at your ground speed! Even heading into the wind, what I'm seeing on video is at least TWICE as fast as my wing is! I'll probably never get a wing that spicy at my age, but it's impressive to see nonetheless. That engine I could put on my trike, though! That would be fun! That area from the 7-8 minute mark is a lot like where I fly. Lots of rolling hills, lots of trees with an occasional field sprinkled in. Over that familiar sight is when I realized you were HAULING ASS! 😂 "Maybe we'll eat shit and land on our face!" 😆😂🤣😂 Laughed my ass off!!! 😁 LOVE these cross-country vids! Thanks for sharing!!
By now you have probably changed your coffee beans That's the way to get the best out of anything Testing. I'm slowly getting through your vids. Great stuff.
My first machine was a Miss Sylvia. That lasted about 3 months. It didn't have enough power to steam the milk properly for latte art and the pump wasn't strong enough to get the ristretto shots I wanted. So I upgraded to a dual boiler machine with a rotary vane pump. But then I decided I wanted to compete in the WBC and started buying the commercial machines. Currently using a La Marzocco Strada EP 2 group. It's kind of hard to upgrade from here. :D
Hi Tucker son, how are you? Happy to see you flourishing. You are the best and will remain best. As you reached this glory by following my ideas,I will send you some more fresh video ideas. Stay blessed, stay safe. Remember your strength is your humbleness,. From your guru.
Tucker This power plant is really impressive what was your ambient air temperature, do you ever use hot hands? To heat gloves or feet or even a go-pro to maintain longer battery life. Super nice sounding prop motor on your new para motor. Looking forward to seeing this as you continue testing. Thanks for all your nice vlogs. Best David
I wonder why you fly without an accelerator pedal? Not sure about your exact wing specs - if accel is available - but normally accel gives another 3-5 mph, which is very useful especially flying into the wind. Besides, it gives a nice comfortable feet rest and - last but not least - it streamlines your crossection (setting your feet higher) and you feel less cold this way. I always fly with my feet on the accel pedal. Feels like on the barstool. Rec.
Creating your own race would be an awesome project…sponsorship for it would also help the sport of Paramotoring. Anyway, much luck with the channel man. Cheers Also, does that espresso machine have a double boiler?
Tucker, awesome video 👌!!! I wonder if you applied those performance numbers to your cross country flight to win the Icarus trophy 🏆what kind of impact it would have had overall? Would you really smoke it with this new set up? World records are made to be broken Bro!!!
I wonder the same thing.🤔 I would love to see more experiments based on wing type and size, bigger motor vs smaller more efficient, that sort of thing. Test everything, hold nothing back!
would you ever do that flight race when you were younger? i loved that shot when you were high and a fighter jet was in parallel with you that was amazing.!
@@TuckerGott hey buddy did I win something from you in a drawing? I'm just trying to verify that it's actually you and not someone trying to scam me out of the shipping charges in order to receive the prize.
You should make a video of you traveling. You should fly to a hotel spend the night. Fly to another Hotel and so on. She how far you can get. Then maybe get a rental car and drive home. My fly across country.
@Tucker Gott, being 285 lbs, and a complete newbie to the entire sport, what motor/wing would support me, and be a reliable mode of MacDonald's transportation? (I work there.)

Love your videos whith paramotor
I am surprised that police departments don't have a paramotor and search for kids lost or to access situation from the air at a moment's notice.
Heck yeah! Silvia Pro + Niche! Someone knows his way around good coffee! I
I already have the espresso setup, just need to buy a paramotor, Lol
honestly love dressing up warmly to get into the cold air. shorts in summer is great, but there's something special about the crisp winter air for cross country paramotor.
It’s time to do another Icarus style multi-day cross country. Maybe get someone to drive the RV and meet you each night 👀
Nah just carry a tent/food/ and refuel at gas stations
There are two separate categories, supported and unsupported. Having someone follow in an RV would put him in the supported class, which I don't think Tucker would want.
@@AllFouRoux Icarus style, not necessarily suggesting an actual Icarus race. Just something fun.
