I’m a gel then mousse girl, however I use to be loc girl and still am depending on my mood, I’ve tried mousse first and then gel too. I liked it a lot too.
Thanks for the video! Your hair is beautiful! I used to only use get for my wash-n-gos, but my hair would always end up dry. I tried mousse, and my hair would shrink a lot and not give me the hold. I recently started using The Doux Crazy Sexy Curl with no gel, and I jave been getting the definition and hold. That's my go-to. I haven't tried the combo with Bee Girl, but I might, now that I see how your hair turned out! 💜 I was thinking, after a few days, you may see a difference in how the products are with your hair. Maybe the gel with mousse on top won't hold as long, since the gel may break the gel cast. Let us know!
You’re welcome! Thank you for the compliment 🥹 Every time I try mousse only the definition is great but it doesn’t last for me unless I refresh with the mousse the next day. Both sides actually held up the same throughout the week. I didn’t notice any difference in the days after
Your hair is beautiful! I’ve had my hair in a weave throughout the summer and I can’t wait to take it out. I miss my curls so much. I’ve never tried a wash n’ go, I’m more of a twist out girlie. You’ve given me some great tips. 😉
What you say about mousse 1st then gel makes sense. I guess I just always felt that it made more sense to put the heavier product on 1st (gel) then top it off with the lighter one (mousse).
All the the doux products flake, except the mousse but when I try to paint it with their custard, gel or even the styling cream flakes when paired. I wish they’d make their products compatible I just don’t like flakes I don’t care how small it bothers me so bad lol. Nothing worst than a flaky wash and go
I 90% of the time do leave in (sometimes a cream too) then gel..
When I do use mousse, it’s first.. gel on top for extra hold!
Same! Except I can’t be bothered with creams 😅
Regardless of what product im using i always put the gel last because it really does seal the deal
That’s how I feel!

Thank you, glad I could help! Twist outs never ever last for me 😭

Idk why I feel like the lighter product first makes more sense 😆 Apparently everyone does it differently. Whatever works!

Yea, I just really love how well their products work so I’m willing to put up with a few flakes lol. It’s usually only like the first day or two
