@@TomsJurjaks Thank you. and The video that you filmed with A6000 is very good quality. The A6000 doesn't have 4K, so how can you make such a good image quality?
You are welcome my friend :) yes, a6000 doesn't have 4K, but it is important to upload the video in 4K because otherwise RUclips heavily reduces the quality. You need to upscale your video to 200% and export as a 4k video. This allows you to save have better quality when uploading on RUclips. I explain it in this video: ruclips.net/video/Nh1euJjlxO0/видео.html
how do you stop the screen from constantly switching off everytime it gets near your hand/body? there is no option to disable the proximity sensor on the a6000
There is. Go to Menu -> Gear Icon -> Page 3 -> FINDER/MONITOR. And here switch to "MONITOR". Then you will not be able to use viewfinder but also the screen won't turn off. Thats what I use and it works perfectly (since I don't use viewfinder for my photos/videos)
@@TomsJurjaks wow you are right thank you so much, I have been searching for a solution to this for months and somehow I never found out about that menu option until now
Hey man, can I get your opinion. I'm about to get an A6400 and a lens.. but I'm not sure whether to get the Sony f4 18-105mm or a prime lens. I'm veeerrry new to photography and videography. But I noticed that although the 18-105mm is versatile, the photos are not as sharp and as flattering as a prime lens? Thanks in advanced.
Hey Max, you want my honest answer? 😀 Get both 🤦♂️ I know I know... 2 lenses is expensive and all, but thats the way to go. The 18-105 zoom lens is absolutely amazing for versatility as you say. You can make good videos with it and you have enormous range. You can use it for landscape photography and so much more so I definitely wouldn't skip getting it. On the other hand, prime lens is a totally different beast and is a must have! Since its fixed focal length, you will lose all versatility, however the bokeh, sharpness and just the look of it is unbeatable. And there are lots of budget options like Sigma 30 or 56mm f1.4 lens. I just got Viltrox 23mm f1.4 that I am curious to try etc. They cost only 200-300€ so its very affordable for photography standards. If you are getting a6400 and it comes with kit lens already then get a prime lens and later get 18-105. If you buy body only, you get 18-105 and prime lens right away. Good luck Max 🙌
Rohit, this 85mm is a full frame lens so on a crop its more like 130-135mm which for most users is a bit extreme. I personally like it a lot but sometimes you really need to step back to get things in frame, therefore I would suggest you to go with 50mm as its a bit more common, universal and bit easier to work with. Good luck my friend!
hey bro, thanks to your video! now i'm not thinking that aps-c is bad, they still produce good photos and you did a great job with your videos! you're truly underrated! i hope you will be big just like other photographers out there!
Hey Josep, thanks so much for your kind word. I really appreciate it 🙏 Mate, I had the full frame Sony A7II and when it didn't come out of repair, I bought a6000 and a6400 just for the time being to wait for A7IV to come out. And you know what? I don't think I need to upgrade anymore. Both cameras are so amazing! APS-C is more than capable my friend 😎🤟
This is amazing, I have the same camera, I have never get a good quality like those pictures, would you be able to do a tutorial on how to fix the camera sitting. I relive also that I need to get a better lens because I can not get a nice blurry background with the lens that I have.
Im thinking of getting the viltrox 56mm 1.7mm for street photography... But some are saying maybe too cropped in? Im thinking maybe good so don't have to get too close to subjects? Any thoughts?😊
@@danmisson I love that focal length for street especially for the reason you mentioned. It is quite a bit of cropped in but to photograph people - it is great. If you want a more versatile lens with still plenty of crop - check the Viltrox 35mm f1.7 (i recently made a video about it).

Hey Zikri, each photo is bit different, but mostly I shoot with the lowest ISO possible (ISO 100), with widest aperture (f1.8), but I let the camera choose the shutter speed based on amount of light.
Hey Josh, glad you like it! Yeah man A6000 is a little beast, you gonna have ton of fun with it. Im shooting in RAW and have my contrast, saturation and sharpness reduced in camera. I keep ISO as low as possible when I can, and focus modes I change based on the need. There are couple of videos where I talk about the settings so maybe take a look at other of my videos. Cheers mate 🙌
I would go with Sony because Nikon is a DSLR camera and DSLRs are dying. They are big, bulky and heavy. Also Sony's AutoFocus is much better and continuous shooting speed too.
Thanks Constantin. Yes, I shoot all my pictures in RAW format and they come very unsaturated and with heavily reduced contrast. Then I usually use one of my presets to recreate a specific look based on the mood. You can check my photo editing process in one of my latest videos on channel. Also in description there is link to the presets where you can see before/after images.

@@TomsJurjaks thank you so much for answering, I looked in the settings of the sony a6000 to customize the keys but the key of that lens I can not find it just
Hey buddy, yeah sure! So I shoot in Aperture Priority mode, which means I select aperture and ISO myself. I try to keep ISO as low as possible and outdoors during the day almost always it will be ISO 100. The f-stop in this video I also kept almost always at f1.8 which is the maximum for this lens. I use f8 or f11 only in landscapes. Regarding the shutter speed - I let the camera to choose the right shutter speed for correct exposure and that depends on how much light there is. Hope it helps :)
Hello friend, one question, do you recommend the Sony a6000 for long streams, I have a little doubt and fear since I do live streams on twitch and they are long maybe 4 or maybe 6 hours and obviously the camera will be connected to a fake battery connected to the electricity all the time, that's why the reason for my fear when streaming I don't know if the camera overheats they told me that the Lumix G7 doesn't overheat in video and I don't know which one to choose I would appreciate it if you gave me your opinion, I hope see your answers, thanks.
Hey Tanoshi, oh I wouldn't know that without testing. I have filmed for 1-2 hours with very small breaks, it of course gets a little warm but nothing crazy. Generally I have never had issues with overheating, that seams more like Canon's problem but I havent filmed/streamed for 6hrs straight either.
I dont use any straps or belts so I just hold my camera simply with my hands. It is not as safe as using the strap, but I have been using it like that for the last 5 years and I find it very convenient
Its amazing! Check my other videos. Only thing is that its not perfect for vlogging because it doesn't have mic port. And color imbalance is because this video was filmed with GoPro and its very hard to color grade GoPro footage.
I plan to buy this camera but considering it's release date all these new cameras I find it hard to decide if it's still worth it, but thanks to your video I can say that it's still pretty neat.
Not sure if its the illusion of gopro, but im loving the 85mm focal length from where youre standing vs what you are capturing. Now I want one 😩 Great video! Can't wait to see you blow up on here.
Hey Olivia! As I was saying in the video, that 85mm lens is a Full Frame lens, which means on the crop sensor camera its equivalent to 135mm. Its a true telephoto beast 😁 I love the lens both on crop and also on full frame cameras. It's not your illusion, the lens really is amazing and it has far reach. You go get it 😁 I support you! You are not gonna regret it 🔥 And thanks a lot for your support Olivia 🙏
I only shoot Manual in controlled environment (in studio). Almost always I choose Aperture mode as I don't have the time to miss the shots while adjusting shutter speed while out on the street. Cameras are a lot smarter and quicker so its easy to trust them to do the job right.
I am the new one for camera, could you please recommend me how I can get the photo tone in timing at 5.25, I think it' s really present the Europe style. And I still cannot do with my photo.
Hey Anrickx, as it says in the very beginning of the video (and in description) its Copenhagen, Denmark! Absolutely gorgeous city not only for photography but also to just stroll around the city or use the bike on millions of its bike lanes (or a boat, cuz there is ton of canals). Summer is the best time to visit, so you are very welcome! 🙌

I use the Canon sl2, I wanna buy a prime lens too. I am complacent to g with the 85mm 1.8 (scared of the crop factor). Should I go with 50mm or 85mm
@@TomsJurjaks cheers for that Tom
hey bro, thanks to your video! now i'm not thinking that aps-c is bad, they still produce good photos and you did a great job with your videos! you're truly underrated! i hope you will be big just like other photographers out there!
It's funny. I went to CPH couple of weeks ago and took almost the same shots sometimes! Great video!
Haha awesome! Copenhagen is super photogenic city 👌
look so easy and simple but outputs are all great! You are talented guy!
Can your post processed LUT presets be shared? I like your color very much
Yeah buddy, I give them out for free on my website: jurjax.com
There is also 2 paid Preset packs in case you wanna support me. Enjoy 🙌
please recommend to me adaptor a-mount to e-mount Sony a6000
i will make lens Sony 75-300mm
This is amazing, I have the same camera, I have never get a good quality like those pictures, would you be able to do a tutorial on how to fix the camera sitting. I relive also that I need to get a better lens because I can not get a nice blurry background with the lens that I have.
Hey Jacob, I did make couple of videos about settings, autofocus etc, but in general yes - the lens is what makes the most difference.
@@TomsJurjaks Thank you. Yeah can't decide between the 56mm or 35mm?
Thumbs up 👍👍 for you. The idea of angle shots is very inspired. And also the color grading of each photos is great. Glad for me to found this video. Keep the good work !!
Thanks a lot Sela 🙌 truly happy you enjoyed the video. Stay tuned for new ones!
What were your settings?
Could you make a video where you explain the camera settings for the A6000? And which are the best for photographie and video?
Hey Daniel! I already made video for video settings, you can check it here: ruclips.net/video/Nh1euJjlxO0/видео.html
Soon I will make a video for photo settings. Stay tuned!
My 1st body. I get it this year. But still i use stock Lens.

Glad to hear that, cheers Hanavi!
Hey Toms, What's setting in this photo
Hey Zikri, each photo is bit different, but mostly I shoot with the lowest ISO possible (ISO 100), with widest aperture (f1.8), but I let the camera choose the shutter speed based on amount of light.
@@TomsJurjaks Oke thanks Tom. O, is there also use picture look?
I made another video about the settings I use, sharpness, contrast etc so check it out mate 🙌@@ZikriMufadil
Woah this is too cool! I just got my A6000 a couple of days ago. Can you show your settings in taking photos?
Hey Josh, glad you like it! Yeah man A6000 is a little beast, you gonna have ton of fun with it. Im shooting in RAW and have my contrast, saturation and sharpness reduced in camera. I keep ISO as low as possible when I can, and focus modes I change based on the need. There are couple of videos where I talk about the settings so maybe take a look at other of my videos. Cheers mate 🙌
@@TomsJurjaks great! Ill binge on your videos
It's half of 2022. Is it still worth it to buy? I'm a beginner pls help me to make decision 🤣 can i started just by using the kit lens

Thank you for checking out the video 🙌
@@TomsJurjaks Thankyou soo much for all of your videos. I've watched them all night. It really helps❤️
Good afternoon. Do you think Sony A6000 or Nikon D3500?
I would go with Sony because Nikon is a DSLR camera and DSLRs are dying. They are big, bulky and heavy. Also Sony's AutoFocus is much better and continuous shooting speed too.
Nice photos but a little question: the photos had a teal and orange feel?
Thanks Constantin. Yes, I shoot all my pictures in RAW format and they come very unsaturated and with heavily reduced contrast. Then I usually use one of my presets to recreate a specific look based on the mood. You can check my photo editing process in one of my latest videos on channel. Also in description there is link to the presets where you can see before/after images.
@@TomsJurjaks thx👍
hello I wanted to ask you for information, but can you set the button in the 85mm lens on the sony a6000 in order to focus on the eye? because I bought it for my sony at 6000 but I can't set that button in the lens.
Thanks a lot I hope you can help me.
If i remember you can set that button for many things, but a6000 has eye AF only in S-AF mode (not in continuous) so its not that useful
@@TomsJurjaks thank you so much for answering, I looked in the settings of the sony a6000 to customize the keys but the key of that lens I can not find it just
Tom can i know the settings range for these pictures? Like shutter speed, ISO & aperture?
Thanks.
Wooowww....😍 Thank you so much mate👌❤️ Yes it helps a lot.
You're amazing. full of inspiration.
Wow, thank you!
Is it possible to zoom with the a600 and the sel85f18 ??

I have a6000 too and the camera still nice, awesome video dude!
Thanks a lot Aviv!!!
hello, I like this tone of yours, can you guide me on it? Thank
Hey there. Its my own presets that I developed. You can get them on my website jurjax.com its called "Copenhagen Preset Pack"
Hey Toms still expensive that zoom lens??? in Europe 85mm 1.8 sony
I really need it for my A6000
For how much can I find it ????
How do you hold your camera safe? What's the belt/holder that sticks your camera safe to your hand while shooting? Thanks in advance
I dont use any straps or belts so I just hold my camera simply with my hands. It is not as safe as using the strap, but I have been using it like that for the last 5 years and I find it very convenient
@@TomsJurjaks thank you, take care
Bro isit good for videography??? And why there is color imbalance?
Its amazing! Check my other videos. Only thing is that its not perfect for vlogging because it doesn't have mic port. And color imbalance is because this video was filmed with GoPro and its very hard to color grade GoPro footage.
Thanks bro,. Any suggestion for budget videography camera. Becoz starting music channel is just 🥵🤯
Insane shots 🔥
Thanks a lot Kevin. Even tho city photos are not my specialty, Im really glad you like em 💪
Can i use this lens for my Camera sony a5100?
Yes you can.
I plan to buy this camera but considering it's release date all these new cameras I find it hard to decide if it's still worth it, but thanks to your video I can say that it's still pretty neat.
If you only gonna shoot photos then its totally still worth it. For videos - its better to get a6100, a6400 or ZV-E10
your an amazing photographer 🥺
I am very honoured for you think that way. Just trying my best! Thank you!
@@TomsJurjaks but shouldn’t you get a OSS lens 85mm (the same but just not a FE lens) instead? Or do you love the 135mm and that’s why u get a FE?
@@TomsJurjaks i’m prob gonna buy this lens but i’m not sure why u got the FE one on a OSS camera.
I know I'm a bit late but just wanted to ask why did you shoot in aperture mode insthead of manual?
I only shoot Manual in controlled environment (in studio). Almost always I choose Aperture mode as I don't have the time to miss the shots while adjusting shutter speed while out on the street. Cameras are a lot smarter and quicker so its easy to trust them to do the job right.
the lens is full frame lense if im not wrong!
so it should have equivalent of telephoto lense of around 127mm on apsc right?
You are right Ishrak, this is a full frame lens and the APS-C equivalent is 130mm to be exact (the crop factor for Sony is 1.53)
@@TomsJurjaks i’m starting to consider this lense for my a6300 untill i upgrade to full frame 😆
Go for it@@ishrakbenali97 I almost enjoy it more on crop than on full frame 😀
I am the new one for camera, could you please recommend me how I can get the photo tone in timing at 5.25, I think it' s really present the Europe style. And I still cannot do with my photo.
Hey buddy, I am using my own presets. You can get them too on my website jurjax.com its called COPENHAGEN Preset Pack
Were you shooting in auto most of the time, i don't see you changing manual settings, thanks.
I am shooting in Aperture Priority Mode (I never shoot Auto). I change ISO and Aperture based on my needs and let the camera choose shutter speed.
I was hating cloudy day, boring city but that video and that country made me love it! It is so satisfying. What country is it?
Hey Anrickx, as it says in the very beginning of the video (and in description) its Copenhagen, Denmark! Absolutely gorgeous city not only for photography but also to just stroll around the city or use the bike on millions of its bike lanes (or a boat, cuz there is ton of canals). Summer is the best time to visit, so you are very welcome! 🙌
