My only hesitation about UM's offense is the OLine. I know they will be pretty good, but I don't think Cohen and Lee will be equally replaced. Good players will step in, but Cohen and Lee are very hard to duplicate.
Lee wasn’t bruising people. He was more smart. I hope this one is a mauler.
Carpenter should be fine. I'd take Samson over Cohen any day. Bigger stronger and more talented. Not even close.

My biggest worry now is the OC. Can he call games like he did against A&M or will he call a game like he did against GT?

I'm not as excited about this upcoming season as I have been because of all the buying of players going on. It was fun and engaging to see how players decided to come to a school/Miami and buy into the long term experience but it feels like NFL light now and I'm not an NFL fan at all. So I'll watch and root for the Canes as always but my enthusiasm is dampened. GO CANES.
If we add that dt, de, and Michigan state safety and that Houston cb can we possibly be the best defense on paper in the acc ?

@JohnnyBushwhacker-yv6bc IMO, HH hit his ceiling last year, recording only 26 total (11 solo) tackles. The two seasons he played under Manny Diaz, he recorded 17 total (9 solo) in each. In 22 & 23, Barrow totaled 40 & 36 (76) total tackles. That is the exact same number HH tallied in 4 seasons at Miami. Next man up.
I think we can get another LB, Safety and CB in the portal I think our defense will not have taken such a hit. Most of it is returning and we already got some replacements.
Brian just said it takes 3 or 4 years to rebuild a roster. Miami fans aren't patient enough for all of that
I think people are underestimating our dts that come in the summer. I think we get production out at least 1 of the 3. Justin Scott,Artavius Jones and Daylen Russell

This is what’s bothering me about all you so called Canes fans. FSWho was literally winning an average of 6 games per year for 6 to 7 years straight and then Norvell starts bringing in players from the portal and next thing you now they win 10 games and win against Wisconsin in the Cheez It Bowl. Following year, they bring in more portal players and win the ACC championship and go undefeated during the regular season. Now that Miami is bringing in portal players everybody and their momma wants to talk $hit! FOH with that nonsense. Miami will be a much improved team this season because TVD is gone and they have a much better player at the QB position. They’re bringing in some dogs and that is why people are losing their $hit.
