I cant even count how many male pastors and preachers I've heard in the last year or so "preaching and teaching" that people shouldn't "judge" "men of God" for sin or seek their removal from leadership or accountability for their actions. These are indeed the last days and Christ will be returning to His house first to clean up this mess!!
The Church is NOT only "weak" -- but also CARNAL, due to the "head" (the leadership). So, the Church is weak and carnal, as a result of the "head". Thou hast "well said", WOG.
Jesus said, "I will build my church, and the gates of he'll will not prevail against it." The true church of Jesus is not weak because Jesus is the head and the devil is defeated. The problem today is that some leaders of churches, didn't maintain the victory over the devil and didn't submit themselves to God and resist the devil's sin, temptations, lies and devices so they became easy targets for the roaring lion, the devil, to devour. Psalm 118:3, "It is better to trust in the Lord, than to put confidence in man." I pray that these leaders will turn from their wicked ways and seek the Lord's face. I pray they will turn back to righteousness and be restored back to the Kingdom of God.

The scripture you referenced is talking about "Brothers" (the brethren), as it begins with the word "Brothers". Leaders are held to a "higher" standard with an additional layer of responsibility. That same Paul also said: "As for those who PERSIST in sin, REBUKE them in the presence of ALL, so that the REST may stand in fear." (I Timothy 5:20). THIS is what the First Lady DID -- rebuked these leaders -- in the presence of ALL. Like Paul -- I'm not here to "cover-up" by taking "part in other men's SINS" (I Timothy 5:22). Especially those, who identify as "leaders" -- who should KNOW better...
