You should think about getting a double layer of 5% tint on the camper shell Windows. That way you wouldn't have to worry about the light

You know how some people do bug out drills? I couldn’t help but thinking when I saw him sitting in the back of his reflectex’d pick up truck eating top Ramen, that this is a young man who is honing his skills in event he ever lives through a messy divorce scenario
There is something to be said for learning how to be completely self-sufficient in the event of insane natural disasters or, hopefully, the zombie apocalypse.
It’s best to park in the service lot so you park with other trucks with real plates on. Your truck was in the “buy me” lot.
I liked this episode. Years ago my car broke down on a Sunday evening. The police came by and told me to get going or I could spend the night behind bars. The car was pretty banged up underneath. So I limped into a used car lot, pulled out my sleeping bag, spent the night. Limped into a shop the next morning. I saw the police car going up and down the street looking for me. He never spotted me. This reminds me of that night.
To make it real convenient for u to switch from the front seat to the back you should look into making it a "walk through", or crawl through, meaning take out your rear cab window and get the water seal boot so it doesn't leak then u could just crawl through from the front to the back instead of having to get out and go in through the back. If u are able to make it all work.
...or just get a van.

Used to sleep in the bed of my ford ranger...sucked pretty bad. Hated having to crawl in the back every night (opposite of stealth)...and I couldn't lock the shell's hatch.
The compact cargo van I have now is so much better. I can get in the back from the driver's seat. I can sit, straight up, without my head touching the ceiling. More room to move around, more storage, less condensation, etc...and I can lock the frick'n doors!

My dad has a Ford Ranger and that thing is a gas guzzling monster truck that's definitely not ideal for this type of camping
I work at a Ford Dealer. Just park over where the service department has the cars they need to work on and you are good to go.

Hey Mr. Rosenberg, all my life I've always dreamt of owning an RV. Here I am, going to be 57 years old and I still don't own one but I do live in a 6 x 12 enclosed trailer, which I've customized the inside to my liking. Little did I know that I'd be living in it. At first, I designed it to be my man cave but now it's actually now my home. I refuse to go out there and pay any kind of rent or mortgage. I don't know if that is your situation now but if you're out because you have to be, you'll be saving tons of money and you can pay cash for a home later, if you haven't already. Good luck with everything that you do and stay safe.

If you ever do dealership parking again, next time face your truck in the same direction as the row of trucks you parked in. Dealers park cars a certain way and your truck facing the opposite way would stick out like a sore thumb if an employee came by. Good video though, rock on!

When I was 15 my first vehicle was a 04 Dodge Dakota club cab. Couldn't afford a cab for it but dreamt of doing everything you did to your F-150.

You actually picked the perfect spot! Your truck belongs there no matter what. Think about it. It probably at some point in its life was in a lot just like that one. People drive through lots after hours because they do not want confrontation with sales people so ya you can expect people to drive through but the nice part is that you blend in and were probably not seen by even the people that rode right past you. Truth of the matter is that even if I was driving through that lot after hours and did see you with the tail gate down I would not give you a second thought so imo you would still be okay. Anyway thanks for the video! I love these videos.

If you're going to do something like this, why not go to William O'Brian State Park or Interstate State Park over on the St. Croix river just north of Stillwater? You can camp, shore fish ponds and the river, cook, campfire, even have a toilet. Seems more fun to me than sitting in a dealers lot. You do what you want, of course. Just saying, is all.
