So many different angles my brain can't handle it! Really good job on the jeep though. One day I shall do my jeep up but for now i'm just enjoying the ride.
Just a tip: When making off lines for paint, remove the tape when the paint is still wet. You can tell they didn't because in the close ups, the edge of the line is all jagged where the tape pulled up the paint.
If I were fortunate to come across a sand beige 1992 Jeep Wrangler Sahara that someone wanted to sell at a fair, reasonable price, I would definitely buy it, take it off of their hands, and convert it into my very own film-accurate replica of the Jurassic Park jeep down to the last detail and replace the old radio with a CD player to play the Jurassic Park soundtrack and drive it to a Halloween costume party dressed up as a dinosaur handler and enter it in a car show.
i got some 1080p screenshots of the jeeps in the movie...there is a better size comparison for the stripes early on with dr grant in the back of the jeep along with various placements of the jurassic park logo on individual jeeps in the movie(placement varies by an inch or more in some cases)
A fun watch for sure. Hope you're still loving that jeep five years later man. A beat and banged up early 90s jeep would have a ton of character and adds to the "story." And thanks for your service!
Wow, was that your thesis behind topic selection? Bring joy to others? Mr. Wong - just as Batmobile, De Lorean and other owners have done - exults in sharing the experience.
Thumbs up if you watched this video without skipping the advert at the start so Chris can get paid 👍🏻 Now added a Jeep to my list of dream cars I want to build
Good job. Life breaks free. Life finds a way. Those creatures were there before us, and if we’re not careful, we’re gonna be after. Welcome to Jurassic World.
Awesome vid. You did a really nice job. I like the last point, “something you and others can enjoy.” Who doesn’t love Jurassic Park movies! Again, well done. I may purchase a 93 YJ soon, looking at it now, and do this with it. Thank you.
Very sweet video it came out real well. I want to do it the same job to my 94 YJ but So many parts are discontinued how in the world did you find all that stuff?
I thought the sand beige was a metallic color? In this video, it just looks like kind of a flat finish tan color. If that's all it is, then that makes this a little easier to do. From what I understand, metallic colors are kind of tricky to get them even and not "mottled" looking.
It needs to be a Wrangler YJ - easy to spot because it's the only generation of Wrangler with square headlights. Any model year from 1987 to 1995 will work, although the movie cars were all 1992 models.
So question- Was Sand Beige a factory color? If so, would it be easier to buy one of those and then find a red YJ in the junkyard to grab the windshield frame and rollbar from?
Dan Donohue not sure on the color, probably be cheaper to paint the windshield frame than search for a red one. the windshield bar on the exterior facing the grill is actually a mopar off-road light mount (extremely hard to find an original) most people get them built at a fab shop.
That color was only available on the Sahara's in 1992. No other models, no other years, so it is extremely rare. At this point in time, it's hard enough finding ANY Wrangler from that generation that's not a rust bucket or modded to hell or both.
Hey man! Where'd you get the decals/license plate/rear view hangar/and most importantly the peel off vinyl numbers you pull off after the red paint is dry enough? I've been all over the forums and am having a hard time pinpointing certain things
Why would you sand all the old paint off, only to put such a sub standard paint job on it? Just watch a few vids on base coat clear coat. Get a few masking graphics cut, and NO decals. Paint every detail in base coat, and clear the whole thing for a beautiful and much longer lasting finish....
Why not just save yourself the hassle and time and get the tub and other parts dipped in Acid? Sand blasting and Sanding doesn't take out every inch of paint and is tedious. With Acid it's like a complete new fresh car from the factory.
So many different angles my brain can't handle it! Really good job on the jeep though. One day I shall do my jeep up but for now i'm just enjoying the ride.
TheGamingBeaver big fan 😍
:O its beaver!
Beaver I am your #1 FAN
Oh my goodness it's the GamingBeaver :D

“Spared no expense.”
But can it outrun a Tyrannosaurus Rex?
This channel deserves way more subscribers than it does right now.
thanks!
Cool video.
Any update on the Jurassic Park RV? Is it going to be a part of the Jurassic Park Motor Pool, when it's done?
*crickets*
I could be wrong but I think it’s finally finished.
They don't work together with the rv project anymore but it's mostly done but the repair continued on the owners yt channel
Neiliohara It got sold to a person in Japan. :(
Last I saw of it was from this video: ruclips.net/video/m10hy6N73e4/видео.html I don't know if the new owner still has it or not though
I'm about to start a build series for my Jurassic Jeep very soon! This was insightful.
Cool
How did your build go?
Monster Bass the Jurassic park part was easy. The owning a 30 year old Jeep part sucks ass. 😂 check out my IG for pics of the Jeep.
damn I want one of these Saharas

Amazing! Now I gotta do this to my truck. lol!
what size door decal is that and where can i get one?!
Oh were we going we dont need drivers
I liked how you threw in John Hammond's quote "paid no expense"
Sweet68Camaro Hammonds quote was "Spared no expense"
i got some 1080p screenshots of the jeeps in the movie...there is a better size comparison for the stripes early on with dr grant in the back of the jeep along with various placements of the jurassic park logo on individual jeeps in the movie(placement varies by an inch or more in some cases)
As you were driving your newly painted JP jeep down the road I was expecting a T-Rex to be running close behind😅. GREAT JOB.
@3:55 Joop? :P
I'm more of a fan of the Ford Explorer than the Jeep.
A fun watch for sure. Hope you're still loving that jeep five years later man. A beat and banged up early 90s jeep would have a ton of character and adds to the "story." And thanks for your service!
very cool tutorial
Is the red stripes supposed to be reflective? I thought it was supposed to be a matt finish
Hey awesome Video! But I wanted to ask how many gallons of paint or how much did you spend on the paint throughout the process of building JP 07?
Wow, was that your thesis behind topic selection? Bring joy to others? Mr. Wong - just as Batmobile, De Lorean and other owners have done - exults in sharing the experience.
I hope we get more videos like this one :)
The paint link does not work.
My dream vehicle....
Im a fan of the CAR. I cringed when he said that. Jeepers dont call their jeep anything but a JEEP.
It didn't really show the paint process it went through boom boom jump boom there's done
Now, if you wanna make people smile, drive around with a baby goat in a cage in the back of your JP Jeep
Wait, should the Red be matte?
Officially, yes. It should all be matte. But I've seen a few gloss and it still looks good.
I’m just here to paint a j park logo on my golf cart...what?
Wecome to Jurassic Park
Thumbs up if you watched this video without skipping the advert at the start so Chris can get paid 👍🏻
Now added a Jeep to my list of dream cars I want to build
hahahaha thanks :)
Download link for the paint detail does not work...
Good job.

Welcome to Jurassic Park
Alright, so if I buy a Wrangler and go to you with it, you can hook me up with the paint job and decals right? (obviously not for free)
Awesome vid. You did a really nice job. I like the last point, “something you and others can enjoy.” Who doesn’t love Jurassic Park movies! Again, well done.

I bought my Jeep almost to the day this video was uploaded. Wish I had known about the Motor Pool then!
If you're doing the car Ned stole you forgot to add the overhead floodlights. (I just call him Ned for short)
Saw the Motor Pool in Branson when Fallen Kingdom came out. Nearly bought one of them but didn't have the money at the time.
where did you guys get that sand beige color paint? would love to get some suggestions for when i finally do mine?
Very sweet video it came out real well. I want to do it the same job to my 94 YJ but So many parts are discontinued how in the world did you find all that stuff?
200 seems like a good deal for the amount of time it takes to sand. I've also looked at quotes, and not found anything close to 200

How much would a JP 1992 Ford explorer PJ Coast
What kind of Jeep do you need for this?
It needs to be a Wrangler YJ - easy to spot because it's the only generation of Wrangler with square headlights. Any model year from 1987 to 1995 will work, although the movie cars were all 1992 models.
needs more TRAINS thanks.
Great job, you just missed the lamps on the screen roll bar :-)
What is the size for the sticker I have been looking and can't seem to find out
If that jeep is a green then when you were on the way to get it painted the wing mirror was red
Anyone know a decent cheap paint gun to do this myself?
Died when the girl started painting the rims like that :/
Great video. Love it!
How many days did it take to paint the Jeep.?
Ooooohhh, I would love to have a Jeep like this
Guess there is a reason to buy a jeep
nice use of the slowed down theme haha
Nice now i need to find a jeep in malta...
one day man

WoW !
You can also Plasdip your rims. More resistant to scuffs and regular driving
This video is GOLD!
actually it's Sand Beige ;)
RED DOOR PART! 1:27
Might have had a mismatched red mirror before.
Wonderfull 😱😍 Dennis Nedry Car escape Isla Nublar Stick ,stick 😉👍 Must Go fast 😄😄
What year Jeep is that? I'm getting a 2002 and want to do this
Jurassic Park jeeps typically have the square headlights to be closest to the ones in the movie. a 87-95, I think 93 was the year JP used
Dalton Harris 92*
In the movie they used a 1992 Jeep Wrangler Sahara
The movie Jeeps were 1992 models (brand new when the movie was made). The 2002 is pretty close, but the headlights are different.
clear coat???????
Well now I wanna repaint my Subaru Forester in Jurassic Park Jeep colors!

You would look way better if you cut your hair! The ponytail makes you not as attractive!
