- A student, Ankur Dutta (@dutta_ankur) from IIT KGP took a recent video from my channel and completely re-edited it to jazz it up. This is the result.
Hope you all like it.
There are some rough edges and harsh cuts. But if you like this format, all these can be improved in similar future edits of new videos.

Sir plz make a video on :- How the Qs are framed in JEE ADVANCE by using fundamental concepts! So in that way we can prepare our concept! 😊

I am currently in 10th standard and this thing still hits me due to my wastage of time in the pandemic and lack of conceptuality but I would like to thank sir for this piece of advice as it changes the perspective of students on viewing maths as a demon and not a friend, sir I have been watching your videos since 9th grade and its quite inspiring to see somebody so humble and simplistic and of course being a mech engineering field lover I am quite inspired by you sir.
These edits make you in the likes of other youtuber. Your plain bland videos were special. I also feel that these edits will help you reach the masses

In my opinion, this editing distracts the viewers from the original content. In your earlier videos, our focus was on hearing; now, with these edits, our eyes will also start to focus on things that are not crucial, and our eyes are way more fickle than our ears. I think the loss of focus for 1-second causes a huge loss in content absorption. Your original video was simple and highly informative.
If the flow is in the wrong direction, we should always fight against it.
Thank you for this really valuable feedback. If we choose to make future video with some extra editing, we will try to make sure that the intensity of the message is accentuated and not diminished by the editing.

@@shadab_rztrue,the simplicity is unique in itself which gave a different vibe from other which use heavy editing but editing is required in some segments so little use of editing is also crucial too but overall I would prefer to watch old style

Sir, editing is good. But I personally like the original videos that have no editing. It shows your personality. How straight forward and simple you are. If you do editing on future videos please first focus on the content. Many youtubers focus more on editing than content.
Thank you for this great feedback. Quite a few others have mentioned likewise. And I agree. This was a one-off case. If I choose to use Ankur's editing skills I'm the future, I will make sure that the effects and cuts don't overwhelm the actual message which was undoubtedly the case here.

I'm an aspirant from Hyderabad. The points you put forward in this video make complete sense. Till about class 10, all I was doing was mapping methods to problems. And assuming that meant I was good at maths, I took up PCM in class 11. It's almost been 1 year and I'm really struggling with the JEE approach of mathematics. And like you mentioned, the competition is quite fierce. In my college i have aspirants preparing for JEE from class 4. If you could please make a video on how to go about preparing for mathematics at this stage rather than a much earlier stage, it would be of great help.

yes thats what i did till class 10 pickup a maths question and then solve it on my own. like i did every proof in class 9 and 10 on my own and i liked it even if it sometimes took hours... but you see the problem starts in jee we dont have enough time to follow this step. personally i never wanted that period 11 and 12 to just study. I wanted a break and wanted to discover new things which never happened.
That is why most of a local college graduate findd to hard write a simple 2 line application.

0:57 our highschool teacher never even did that! They just solved every problem on the blackboard and the students mindlessly copied the sums. Ofcourse there were a select few who were ahead of the teacher just because they went to tuitions! School failed us to teach math completely

Sir the edits are good, but its kinda distracting, now it doesnt have the raw vibe which made your channel special , it feels like any other random strategies and tips jee channel, i think there are too many fast cuts😅

few pointers to the editor:
1) the sound of typing and whenever you mark something is a little annoying, a subtle sound effect would be more classy
2)1:30 maybe add a in animation?

You are absolutely right, Madam. The student edited an old video. This is to showcase his skills. We also wanted to test how it is received by the audience. If it is liked then we can make fresh videos along similar lines but perhaps a little slower and fewer harsh cuts.

Good evening sir iam student from Telangana, my class 10 11 12 went without foundation of jee ,after 12 exams I decided for drop to get iit i started working on basics from online due financial aid but unfortunately here I got a free seat govt. Clg for coaching but it was not better here students self preparing with online due some health problems I was left jee sir but written session I got 80 marks in 29 shift got 76 percentile , now preparing for jee 2 but worried about iit adv 2024 how to clear sir? Please give any suggestion which is better for my situation I'm a category student sir

Thank you for the valuable feedback. If I decide to go ahead with such edits, I will ask Ankur to reduce the frantic pace and some unnecessary cuts. We have to understand he is a young 2nd year UG student.

I have question How to become iit professor? Like really I'm serious I always thought that IIT professor are 65+ old mates is there any exam to crack it ?
Most of us become profs in the age group 30-35. The retirement age is currently 65. There is no "exam". The selection process is a long drawn one starting from a research seminar and a teaching seminar at the Departmental level and then if shortlisted an interview at the whole Institute level.

I think I like the videos with minimum edit. It's hard to focus here and the background music is also disturbing me. Please sir don't put this many effects and cuts in your videos.
Thumbnail is not much appealing but editing of video is good but more improvements can be done.

Its just a bit more distractive, i like your old method of uploading, it's more easier to focus on what you're saying rather than looking at texts
I personally prefer my usual style too. If I choose to incorporate this new kind of editing in the future, I will try to keep it to a minimum so it enhances the message instead of being a distraction.

Absolutely sir. I have seen your 6-7 videos in the previous format. Let me explain my views in detail.
We come to your channel to listen to a so experinced and well knowledged person(not like other youtubers). Our mind gets attracted in listening you because of that technical knowledge you provide. We with our extreme focus try to understand your thoughts on the topic and we are loving that environment. These edits are just making your video like other youtubers, with shallow technical knowledge and hi-fi presentation. There is a vibe in your previous videos, of learning from an experienced teacher with our full attention in a very calm environment. The popping sounds of the edits and sudden-appearing texts are just not matching your frequency of talking(which is very satisfactory by the way). Moreover, i think you only record after arranging your thoughts in your mind and with each key point to be represented, which I am able to understand very very well. And I also think that the edit made teh points very random and information overload(just like other yt videos). After reading this you may start to notice the difference instead they are subtle.

Sir, please don't include this type of edits in your videos. I'm not saying edits is bad. But I'm not able to think during this video it's feel overwhelmed. I've to pause the video to think. Your simple edited videos are thumbnail and titles are enough to attract masses audience.
This was a one-off video. You can see my next two videos which are in my usual style.
sir please dont join the sheeps in their editing style . i watched your videos because they felt like a warm cup of green tea . but this editing style sucks for your content type . just go back to the old ways.
