Hi guys, wat a awesome video thank you. It sure is a beautiful Gem Park, this is our homeland area. My late dad has been going to gonas for over 40 years an I have been for about 30 years. My dad started Directors Camp. Chitove has always been his favorite camp especially for the fishing. Chipinda Pools camp 8 has been our favorite camp for 1 night camping on weekends, since we lived in chiredzi it would take us 1hr an we in the bush. Did you manage to visit Tambwahata an Muchaniwa pan's, elephants for Africa in that area. Any way thanks for this beautiful video an for showing other overlanders this beautiful park which is waiting for them. I miss this park an its bush 😪, we have since moved to Rwanda, but next chance I get to come home this is the place I will be visiting. Once again many thanks xx

Thanks for displaying a beautiful country that is underrated … Zimbabwe is know as “ Gods country “ by its people.. really enjoyed your series and look forward to more … and many happy returns on your birthday! 🍺🍺🍺🍺👍👏👏👏 . Long live Zimbabwe ! It’s a special place indeed.
I must you killed the Zimbabwe Series my man. This is pure majic from start to ened. The quality of the visuals and scenery is out of this world. Big up and cant wait for the Kgalagadi series.👌👏
Lol why did she start her summary with “No” lol. I agree with your wife on the Jimmy, it’s a must have. A blessed new year to you, may you have more adventures.
incredible.. you will get millions of subscribers. put your channel name on the entire video to prevent people from stealing your footage .......... amazing footage
I am still in the darkness there mates😅 was that a transaction being made there? How can you just own a Jimny in the middle of a bush?😅 Did you trade it ?
hahaha 🤣 we couldn’t wait!! We bought ours 4 days after getting home from the trip! The Jimny in the videos is one from Opposite Lock - we were just testing it out a bit 😁
Good video although sad to see all those tyre tracks in the riverbed, spoilt a great areil shot, it's a pity after management put I'm the effort and some basic rules that others dont respect and speed, don't stick to the basic tracks, wonder what it'll look like in 5 years time
Hi Rodney, thanks for watching man!! Overall in the park we didn’t see much tracks other than areas where you can’t stay on the main road - trees etc in the way. The park has a 40km/h speed limit which I don’t really think can be broken much, the roads are 90% not doable at speeds above that. I think the park is going to be excellent in 5 years!! At the water crossings there are sections where groups stop to get out etc but that is pretty minimal 😊
@@GunnlandExplores, indeed, it’s a tank, very well laid out! In fact I’m looking for Double Cab modifications like yours; Any recommendations for reliable workshops in Jo’burg & surroundings? Coming from ZIM. Thanks in advance!!!
Great video as always! Quick question what is the small light on the foot piece of your Frontrunner? How do you find it for lighting in the camp at night?
I don’t go a single day without wishing to be back there! That was from Darrell of Oppisite Lock! I’ll find out and put some more effort in capturing cool meals 😊
Technically if you ever fly a drone you need a permit - in Zim you get a letter from CAAZ (Civil Aviation Authority of Zim) - in parks it goes even further and this might really have been my one shot, National Parks are very very hesitant to give permission You should be okay getting a fee shots in Zim but not in the National Parks (big trouble if they catch you)
Thanks mate!! Appreciate it!! We will be concentrating a bit harder on sound while recording - at the moment it’s just some random chatting etc so need to use some music still 😉
Kelvin Weare Hi Kelvin, just to clarify from our side.. When we got to Directors camp the stump was half burnt at that location with the ashes on the floor so we decided to make our fire in the same spot. It was not moved there by us. To be quite honest the thought didn’t even cross our minds at the moment but agree that no wood should be used that is in the park. I state numerous times that wood is available in the park with the price and my recommendation of not taking your own wood and buying directly from the park. All our firewood was bought from the park, in some of the episodes we even show that. Sorry for the confusion, should maybe have thought twice about using that footage because that is definitely not something we would even like to accidentally portray as acceptable. Hope that puts you at ease 🙂 We think very highly of the Park as I’m sure is clear from all the episodes - we wouldn’t go against the rules of any national park.
What an awesome video and some great footage, but it is spoilt with the choice of music that does not suit the setting and it was soooo loud. Your videos are so cool, but please chose music more suitable and note the loudness. Sorry but the music really spoilt your video for me.
Great video. I visit the park twice a year for the past 10 years and each trip is worth it and different. Am still working on camping and filming equipment
Now I'm convinced, I want a Land cruiser V8 L79. This was awesome to watch. Awesome awesome awesome
Thanks man!! You won’t regret a trusty old 79 😉

The Great wall of Jerusalem
Please let me know where the dead tree came from at Directors Camp. The video shows it burning at your camp fire?
Kelvin Weare Hi Kelvin, just to clarify from our side..

THATS ALL WE CAN DO IS DREAM , BUT THAT IS A GREAT TRIP... WISH WE COULD HAVE DONE SUCH BUT NOT IN THIS LIFE...
If I check with CAAZ and Zim parks will I find you have a permit to fly a drone in Zim and permission to fly in a national park?
Did you come right?
Hi,Which month did you do the trip?
Hi there, we were there mid July 😁😁
Any plans to visit Zambia?
It so high on the list - we got to South Luangwa in 2016 and so badly want to go back!!

Don't mean to be ignorant but what language is your wife speaking when she was driving the Jimny?
Afrikaans 😊😊
