- This video shows how to solve the following multiple regression problem:
In a regression analysis involving 40 observations and five independent variables, values of SSE and SST are 93.5 and 150.3 respectively.
a) Compute the F statistic
b) Compute the coefficient of determination
c) Compute the adjusted R2
d) Compute the standard error of the estimate
e) Conduct an F-test at α = .05 to determine the overall significance of the relationship

May I ask you, what if f statistics is equal to f critical value, should i reject null hypothesis or accept it?
You should reject Ho only if F-stat is greater than F-critical. You might want to use more decimal places in your calculations.
