I have constructed roof using T angles and shahabadi tiles and covered them with another roof of metal sheets. I do not need even fans in summer season. Keep more space open for ventilation.
Please make a video on the lime floor..... Can we get a level as in stone or tile floors so it is easy to wet mop(I mean "pocha") it? Can we polish("ghisai") it like marble or granite? Is it durable like stone or tile?
Ok will do. Yes you do get a level floor. No you don't have to do ghisai. Yes it's durable like stone or tile, but in initial months you have to be careful to not drag furniture or drop sharp objects on it
You are so right. I kept telling the. To wear masks and hard hats, but in India contractors have quite a casual attitude towards safety, especially in small scale projects
In the aerial view of the house, the rooftop is all white which greatly reduces the heat gain due to white's high solar reflectivity. Is it lime plaster and do you have any video on how it was done?
i have seen in one video where they say garter stone roofs sag with time as it cannot take the load for long time and because of this problem you can have water leakage problems in rainy season.did u have such leakage and roof sagging problems? and where we can find red sandstones of best quality, from where did u get.? kota, rajhasthan?
I think you need to use the metal pipes of the correct dimensions so they can bear the load of the red sandstone. We have not faced any such problem as of now. You can get stone locally in your area .. do check around at the stone/marble/tile stores.
@@farmaanandaa i checked with a few. They do one stone over two girders. And not one stone spanning across multiple girders like at yours. This design seems seismic resistant to me. That's the reason I asked for this guy specifically!
@@farmaanandaa oh alright. In your opinion, will it perform well in earthquake? At 2:32, it does seem like, stones span across three girders. Am I seeing it wrong 🤔?
You are right. But it does not affect the construction at all. There is no point in cutting big stones to smaller pieces. If you use metal pipes, they just go across multiple ones if the size is large in some places
you have cost around 2 crore reppee to build your sustainable house , you have 6 acre land that cost around 3 crore ,means you are crorepati ,also you will have passive income from city ,means you have 10 crore property , only 10 crore owner can live lifestyle like you , my net worth is olny 1.5 crore ,how can i live that? plz reply
Imagine how many other ways money could have been spent which harmed the environment. If you are actually keen to pursue a lifestyle fit for the environment, you will find a way.

I Used Clay wall blocks and clay roofing tiles from wienerberger banglore company, cost was around 1500/- psft. It's durable, natural and economical too. Very easy to construct any type of buildings.
Looking at 3:34 that is certainly not "a stone and metal pipe roof"! We call those " pipes", Rectangular steel hollow sections, used as horizontal beams, which tend to remain humid inside and rust quickly . The roof itself is made of reinforced concrete with rebar in it . I must say that the rebars at 3:36 are not lifted up enough, especially on the wall. With those rebar in the roof and the thickness of concrete, I do not believe those under beams were necessary. But of course women love aesthetic looks, and they would not go without putting shiny things hanging from their ears and their nose! The lady doing the narration is naturally beautiful, and she does not need any additional decorations to her natural structure. However, a woman will always be a woman in any country, even when constructing houses. She will always project her natural demands of additional decorations on whatever she does, to enhance her appeal. It is very much a stone and pipe roof, becaise that is what holds up the roof. The finishing plaster for making slopes and putting the reflective tiles will collapse the moment the pipes and stone collapse. So nothing is for aesthetics - that is the roof. The rebars are barely 6mm and spaced so wide that they are just in place to hold the plaster together and prevent it from cracking. Meanwhile thank you for the compliments.
@@farmaanandaa I thought the span was short enough for those rebars, while what you call plaster looks like good concrete. Madam, In addition to your nice personality and English language diction, I would also like to complement you on your excellent presentation. Wish you all the best and thank you for replying.
Kindly also make a video on plumbing and how to do that, if possible
Never heard or seen a stone roof… looks cool. Rightly said, the craftsmen make a significant difference in final look and finish.
Indeed

How much space between metal sheets and tiles??
Hi sir...
Can we add one more floor on this stone+metal pipes roof???
Thank you so much for introducing new things...
What material do you recommend for bathrooms in a mud home.. also do u have any videos on mud flooring and sustainable insulation ideas

@@farmaanandaa ok, that would be interesting, thanks
Mam great info which stone is used
red sandstone she said in video.
Nicely done. My only concern is that the craftsmen cutting the stone without any dust protection will inevitably succumb to silicosis.

The stone wall looks so beautiful. how expensive is stone? did you have a hard time procuring it?
Oh the stone was unreasonably cheap. It should have been far more expensive.
Where can I get these atone. Please let known

Yes these are reflective tiles. It is not lime plaster .. that would have got washed away in the rain
Ghar ki outer wall 9 inches thick, partition wall 4 inches rammed earth main bana sakte hain kya? Concreat column, and roof beam bhi mujhe dena hai.

an An G.I. "I" section will last for a century than a lesser thickness Pipe section.
Can you plz share cost of entire house
Sorry, we cannot
Which stone you guys using?
It's red sandstone
Called Narayanji and seems, he only builds brick based roof.
Can you share contact for stone-metal roof expert contractor?
Any contractor can do that work. Pls check with your local mason

Our design is also one stone over two metal pipes. The joints are concealed so it looks like one stone over many pipes.
