@benedictg I presume you changed to full slash resist against Thorpe, but you somehow survived all his thrust attacks. Could you explain? besides the permanent enf. weaken what else is required to make this happen?
Just dodge bro, I don't have thrust resist, 5 slash and 3 ruby (probably don't even need the ruby) and I don't have a slash amulet just yet. 9 times out of 10 I don't get hit by thorpe, just his beast's that he spawns. I've had flawless thorpe runs and I'm currently top 5 for depths in El D.

They buffed cyclone and yeah spear could finally be the main dps weapon with that buff, mostly everyone have been using it for a cc sweep and enfeeble skewer

I run spear/hatchet for thorpe, just in case I gotta range a bit with throwing and infected throw. My spear has enfeebling skewer on it of course
