      @@edmundr2167 We had the most wonderful faith and gods, so we were proud and powerful, we loved our gods, we were Pagan, and we respected people of other faiths and their gods, and therefore revered us until the emergence of Christianity imbued with blood and misfortune. We Lithuanians are Pagan and not Christians. It took 100 years for Lithuania to enslave Christianity and kill all our priests.
      And I do not recognize Christianity as faith, Christianity is not faith, it is politics. Christianity is tainted with the blood of various nations. Christianity is the faith that has brought the most massacres in the world.

    THX in advance.

    • @greta116
      @greta116 3 года назад +6

      Hey!
      The chant lyrics line is metaphora of parallel linden tree and women. (Linden tree is a symbol of femininity in lithuanian folklore).
      Linden tree had a nine branches. All nine branches broke the storm. Linden tree asked the storm- please, leave even one branch for a cockoo bird, to sing beautifully.
      The Mother (linden tree metaphora) had nine daughters. All nine daughters have been matched as wifes by matchmakers. Mother asks them- please, leave even one daughter, to sweep a room.
      Hope it is clear to you :)
