I am familiar with Westminster Cathedral and it’s organ. Here, Nicolas Kynaston is able to let the organ, and the works, breath within this huge building.
Sincere thanks for uploading this, Kynaston's finest recording. I still have the LP though it's not in pristine condition. I believe Mitra later issued a CD version with the addition of the Durufle Veni Creator.
A very influential recording at the time, i.e. the Dupre centenary in 1986. I remember hearing NK play the 2e Symphonie live in Winchester at the time.
