- It's time for my 2nd episode of my yearly declutter series and we are continuing with a Bronzer, Blush & Face Palette Declutter, so nice to clean my collection out! So I'm showing you my makeup collection and decluttering as we go. Next episode we'll do highlighters!

I must say, I am enjoying these types of declutters when people move. It actually shows what you like enough to take with you. I understand that there is still a business element side, where you may be keeping a few items from certain brands, for your channel. However, overall you are keeping your favorites.

Declutters before moving are just the best kind, people get the most real with what they use in this situation. I wonder how moving across the globe is like logistically when taking plenty of stuff with you, gotta check out your Q&A, maybe the answer's there ;). Hope you manage to vlog some snippets of it.

You can definitely spot the scientist 😁 not letting the inaccuracies slip through.
When the blushes came on screen and 75% of them were orange, I had a good giggle. I love that glowy Cheeto life for you! 😁 I love your declutter series, it’s so great to hear what your favourites are and why. It helps me determine what might be a good product for me in the future :)

My heart almost stopped when you were considering getting rid of that ABH blush stick because that’s my favorite shade and one of my favorite releases of the year. I was relieved when you saved it and I have no idea why I even care 😅🤣
What I've learnt from watching your declutters; just because it's hyped doesn't mean it's good. Also so glad I never bought into the hype of half of these.
De-cluttering is a great feeling. Next year or in 2023 I shall have to de-clutter eye shadows and I am dreading it. At the moment I am in love with eye shadows because of the face mask wearing due to Covid.
same! masks have really changed how I wear makeup to be honest. I've barely bought any lip products since this started and don't really do much for foundation on most days.
I agree. I used to be all about statement lipsticks...eyeshadow didn't matter so much as long as I had some mascara on. For a while I stopped wearing lip color completely. I've definitely been obsessing over eyeshadow more now.
Wow what a ruthless declutter. I'm so glad to see the CP blush "drop of a hat" survive another declutter. I gifted that one to Angie when she had a meet up in SF. I'm happy to have given her something that's a favorite.
I'm decluttering my collection with you! 🖤 I agree with you about the Jaclyn packaging. The bulkiness was a deal-breaker for me; i didn't purchase any of those products simply bc of the unnecessarily oversized packaging. I disagree, however with your comments about face palettes. I like palettes that have only one type of product. I store my makeup by category, so palettes that have more than one product stress me out, because i don't know where to put them in my drawers LOL! 🤣
I’m with you about face palettes. My Type A self needs things clearly delineated. Wow, I’m a mess! Happy Hump Day (Wednesday) from Texas!!
I agree with you on the categorisation issue, but I solve it by never buying face palettes 😂 at most I’ll buy a duo of the same product, but any more than that and I just know I won’t use all of the shades and it won’t be worth it for me.
I like having all blushes, etc too. YES for organizing, but also because the mixed ones NEVER work all the way!

I find the idea of decluttering what you don't need and starting over in a new place so exciting and liberating!! I'm not going to lie, you decluttered a few of my favorites, such as Patrick Ta and CoverFx. I reminded myself "It's okay for friends to disagree!". I'm excited to follow your journey to Texas and watch as you have new adventures.

Melt's blush formula is literally the most beautiful I have ever used. From the tones. original colours, to the sheen and pigmentation. Like I am a broke university student but I will scrape my pennies together for melt blushes. I got the blush light in Lynx when it came out and already almost panned it so I got the Queen Bee blush. I have no regrets :)
When you said you were moving to blushes, I paused the video and told my boyfriend that this is where you get in trouble. I nearly died laughing at the number of bins you pulled out. He looked at me and said "ok maybe your collection isn't that big." Love you so much!!!!!

I took the day off yesterday and had a bunch of stuff to do around the house. I turned on your palette declutters from last year and the year before even though I have watched them already. I LOVE declutter videos! There's something so fun about seeing someone's collection but also so satisfying seeing what they declutter.
I really love how you talk about your relationship with brands that aren’t impressing you currently that you’re “taking a break”. I think it’s so cool how you don’t write them off completely but instead give them a chance to redeem themselves and maybe impress you again in the future. I’ve heard so many youtubers talking about cancelling ofra (I think over one debatably controversial picture? And like, they were rude to some small RUclipsr? I don’t have all the facts) but it’s annoying to me because I have lots of ofra products I love and I don’t have a disposable income where I can just throw those away and buy all new stuff, which is what I feel like RUclips is encouraging everyone to do.
I feel similarly with the Ofra situation… I hope, as a society, we can get over this mob rule mentality of canceling. There are so many situations that have layers and are multi-faceted…I also think that we need to learn to be a bit more forgiving …so I’m all for “taking a break” over canceling, Even if I don’t fully grasp what Ofra did “wrong” 💚💚💚
I haven't heard anything about ofra but I've never been into them. I tried one of their liquid lipsticks and wasn't impressed. They had a moment a few years ago where their their highlighter was all the rage. Other than that nobody talks about them anymore.
I agree with not just treating makeup as disposable. I keep mine for mamy years until I use it or it for sure is bad.

I'm taking a break from Ofra too. But, my Chic-lit from Samantha March is still my most favorite product they have. She nailed that collection.
I absolutely LOVE your statement "it's ok to take a break from a brand"! So quick to "cancel" people or brands or it's either love or hate. Humans make mistakes (NOT defending ophra) and we should ALL take a stand however we also should give people the chance to change and improve. Sorry about the rant but it's one of those days🤦🤷🙀😹😻 #clownsquad

I didn't understand this "drama," at first. People were making it seem like he made a Hitler salute or something, and when I actually saw the image, I was like... "What? Okay?" But then I noticed the rest of the stuff in the image... And that tells more of a story than a hand symbol, IMO.
👌🏻 is "okay," IMO. Or delicious! I know that they use already existing imagery for plausible deniability's sake. But judging someone solely for using a symbol that had a positive definition, before? Nah.
Judging someone for the MAGA hat, and for making repeated donations to Trump? That's fair.
I just hate that everyone focused on the hand symbol, when the rest of the image told the real story.
@@Acidfunkish the use of that hand signal because it’s mostly been innocuous in the past is the point. Then the fascists that use it can say “it just means okay! It doesn’t mean anything else. Quit overreacting”. It’s gaslighting and manipulative.

I was born and raised on the east coast USA and now I live on the West Coast. But still never heard of that. Ok im not talking about what was in the background only the hand gesture. 🤘 just this hand gesture was thought to be satanic over 30-40 years ago but nah it just means Rock out / Metal fan. I love declutters and they are like quick speed reviews of tons of products at once and helps me decide what is worth buying :) My favourite blush so far were the Fenty Cream blushes, especially the rose latte shade and also the rose inc cream blush in foxglove

it's so interesting how different people prefer different types of makeup! I have a big blush pallet and a big highlighter pallet both of which I love. I can't wait to see angie do her eyeshadow collection! I love these videos and getting to see a little recap of all the different items

Oh and if you love orange blush from Clinique check their blush shade in Innocent peach - it is matt though but the shade and wear time is stunning - I wear it if I have a long day (like 12+h) and it stays whole day like crazy

I love those bareminerals blush/bronzers. If you read the original marketing blurb they are actually not a blush bronzer hybrid but a blush that gives you a sun burnt or just done tanning flush.
Also good luck with your move. As someone who has move continents 3 time so far decluttering is so stressful.

It’s pretty strange people ask for used makeup. Maybe some people really have no access otherwise. I love these declutters.
I give mine to family often. We grew up sharing. The exception would be wet stuff for hygiene like lip gloss, eye pencils and mascara. Anything too yellow or dark goes to my sister. Anything too pink goes to my mom.
The sound of you opening the Pixi blush is such good ASMR. Like, I could listen to that all day.

Decluttering is such a freeing feeling! Like you get a renewed focus on the items you love because you aren't distracted by the items you don't love or use, AND now you have so much extra space (or less to move! Makeup is HEAVY! Haha)

I need to move. It snowed last night for the first time this winter 😩 Currently 30 degree... which is actually not really cold for New Hampshire!

Anybody else wishing you were friends and/or neighbors with Angie?! I wanted to cry when the Cor-de-rosa blush palette got decluttered. It's sold out so, I didn't even bother making an order with Sigma. I will be quicker at the next sale!
I only reach for face palettes that will do most of my face. I used the Natasha Denona face palette for easy days, because it's basically only blush and highlighter. So I used the blush on my eyes and cheeks, highlighter on my inner corners and cheekbones, and done.
I haven't been doing that, lately. I either go basically makeup-free or full "glam," now. 😅 I DO use the Hourglass face palettes, because there are setting-ish powders, blush, and highlighter. The bronzer is way too dark for me, every time, though. I used to buy one of the holiday palettes every few years. Next, I may just buy the one finishing powder, if they keep making palettes as they are, now. 🤔
