The moment your favorite valk appear on the bottom of the list and you start "go little one, GOOOOOOO!" Then a new Herrscher is released and you never see your beloved valk again....

I love her design and personality almost as much as I love her playstyle so even if I might have better characters she is not getting put on the sidelines ever.
ive been playing since theresa release, and i can tell you because of hov the game became so unbalanced where no hov requires good luck to avoid certain groups of people in red lotus. I hope mihoyo will never create such an unbalanced meta ever again, that was one of the worst experience.
I hope they bring back the bleed mechanic (like the very first abyss) Right now, the gameplay in lv 81+ is just about strong dps. Doesn't even require that much brain cells. You just need a very OP valk and then you good to go.

To be fair, Mihoyo's handling of Fu Hua's power in the game is great. She is a great example of how to handle a fan favoriete character. She's always meta, has her perks and can always be depended on in a pinch.

SP also has a ridiculous passive that is bonus damage if the target is impaired, on top of the impair itself, so as long as you can get past the SP requirement (Dirac B), it's gucci

honestly it's helped me appreciate miHoYo for their valkyrie designs. Some are downright broken, sure, but we've come such a long way since B rank Bronya, Mei and Kiana.
The entire 3.0-3.9 time in Honkai was awesome. It makes me wish I played even more when I remember I never finished some of those events. Personally, my favorite patch was 3.5 I remember being online constantly during that point

please i can relate to this so much. i've been playing honkai for almost 3 years now and it was only LAST YEAR i found out that just because it's a 5 star stigmata, it doesn't mean it's the right one for the valk-
same, i just use my own combi/meta/gut feel to play this game. never looked up on meta or DPS unless i desperately need a method to clear a quest for event currency :(
You've been playing it the only right way, since this game is designed like a casino when it comes to the pvp stuff, drawing in poor sods that will become addicted and spend hundreds upon thousands of dollars, euros or whatever on it. The rewards for following the meta in terms of crystals for months can be earned in a few hours at work, but it takes a few hundred hours of work to pull all of the meta crap.
That's a bit scary how everything improved and how often meta was changing...I think I would never keep up with others so I will stay with my hor until they add another story where put her in hopeless situation AGAIN;_;
tbh if you are comfy with agony and red lotus you should be fine, i skipped 10 patch cuz my phone cant handle it back then, now i cam still survive agony and rl
It makes me happy to see Seele in the list lol, she's the main reason why I keep going back in the game and she carries me pretty much on the events. I quit a long time ago but came back after it was announced that she's coming in the game and she's given out for free. Now I came back again just a few days ago after I learnt Starcasm Nyx and chapter 23 which primarily focuses on Seele/Veliona will be released. SP is probably the valkyrie I put my most love and attention to and second is Yae's Miko But damn I was really happy when I somehow got HoR on the dorm supply thing when I returned in the game. SP is finally reunited with her Bronya-Onee-sama UwU
As much as Himekos death was heartbreaking, I feel there’s little reason to bring her back. That would essentially reverse 99% of Kianas development as of so far. Kiana’s character has been brilliant so far, I hope Himeko’s death will continue being a motivation for her journey.
Himeko will return as the Herscherr of Destruction/Decimation because her battle suit, Vermillion knight: Eclipse, is a Divine key equipped with the core of Destruction which is the core of the Herscherr of Destruction of the Previous Era. Himeko will somehow receive the memories of the Himeko of the previous Era and will let the New Era Himeko control her new Herscherr powers.

This is super interesting afhsjk I first started playing around the game release but quit some time in 2017. When I got back into the game this month I was so lost on where all these new characters/battlesuits came from lmaooo
I began playing around the time Global was released (not on the actual release but a few months later) and honestly the pvp side of honkai has always been ridiculously competitive. In the days when Snowy was the king, it was almost a must to have her decked out just to retain in the lower parts of Agony because of the amount of people that couldn't retain RL on a weekly basis. Especially once you broke out of level 69 and into level 70. Like holy shit. But fond memories, nonetheless.
Fu Hua and Bronya always has been a great help for me... No wonder why they're among my top favorites (DB augment core soon?) As a cap that started on CH & Sakitama patch, I have to say the road has been long but joyful, even those times where I got killed by bleeding, cause even if it isn't a pleasant one, it will be one more memory for me of this outstanding game And thanks for those unexpected clears that I did cause of your guides, like Liliya or Base SS Bronya
I hope to see something like this for genshins yearly marks! its always amusing seeing how the meta can shift and also the trend of when power creeps happen possibly.
Yeah, but maybe it will be dificult because genshin dont have any leaderboard, like in honkai we know what valk be in meta from top score on every boss, but in GI the only "competitive" content is abbys and it doesnt show how good that unit is because we dont even know the exact score, team comp, or even the clearing time, i hope mihoyo make any other end game content for player at ar55+ , because rightnow abbys is feels like a joke. I doubt we will have anything like that soon. Meta isn’t important in Genshin, nor is there a ranking system where you get better rewards with higher scores and you “compete” with other players. The spiral abyss is just extra content for you to basically see how strong your teams can be, but you won’t be rewarded for getting higher scores nor can you see other players' scores.
Well as for Genshin the abyss and viability shifts are not as prominent, Ganyu and Zhongli have never really gone up or down in usage. Genshin is a single player experience, so not much way to compare, so making something like this would be very hard (and also quite monotone)
Honestly, I was such a new player when HoS came out that I would have never rolled for her at the time if it wasn't for Keeb's video on her. Game has been easy mode ever since and I very much appreciate how I don't have to struggle against a lot of content that would otherwise be very difficult without a big main dps.
I started playing few months ago, and Memento was first who dropped from dorm wishes. Also Haxxor banner was in place + I got a lot of Meme pieces from beginner eggs.. so now she is SS and with Haxxor doing pretty fine for me. I guess real game starts at 80+ level and then it will be gg for her >< anyway, when ice is not in disfavored position, she keeps me in RedLotus/0.1%, absolutely love her. (level68 currently)

i'm a new player (started at the end of 2020/2021), pretty much started when they gave out the free HoV. she's currently my strongest valk and the one i enjoy playing the most. i like the quick ranged hits, and the fact she can attack while moving. to hear that she was strongest at some point is mindblowing. i wish i was around for her prime
And I'm still here waiting SS buff to dominate the meta again. My first day on hyperion was on gyakushin and goushinso release. And unfortunately I didn't get Memento but I get miko who was surprisingly good in abyss then I started to use ss and she brings me to another level ! Yamabuki and Ranger was my first support back in the time. Mihoyo must buff SS !!!
do you think using SP with acheron pri is better than the other scythe made for SP? if so, i might as well make a second copy and not gacha for the other one

It's crazy just to see how much different the game was just a year ago and how some of the most obscure valks today once dominated. It's also crazy to see just how much changed past this vid: HoF, PE, Mobius, just some of the great dps characters during this time
Omfg all the memories i had struggling as an f2p player through all these years. My first main dps valk was Gyakushin Miko with her sakura blossom sword. I was maulding not getting Memento that time. Oh boi having Celestial hymn was a life saver early. I also remember not having oath of judah that time, crystals are very hard to earned those days but now as a pure f2p player, I'm always retaining at redlotus and top 10% on MA. It was breath taking to see this vid, brings back all the pain and happy moments in gacha.

It makes me happy to see Seele in the list lol, she's the main reason why I keep going back in the game and she carries me pretty much on the events. I quit a long time ago but came back after it was announced that she's coming in the game and she's given out for free. Now I came back again just a few days ago after I learnt Starcasm Nyx and chapter 23 which primarily focuses on Seele/Veliona will be released. SP is probably the valkyrie I put my most love and attention to and second is Yae's Miko
But damn I was really happy when I somehow got HoR on the dorm supply thing when I returned in the game. SP is finally reunited with her Bronya-Onee-sama UwU

As much as Himekos death was heartbreaking, I feel there’s little reason to bring her back. That would essentially reverse 99% of Kianas development as of so far. Kiana’s character has been brilliant so far, I hope Himeko’s death will continue being a motivation for her journey.
Himeko will return as the Herscherr of Destruction/Decimation because her battle suit, Vermillion knight: Eclipse, is a Divine key equipped with the core of Destruction which is the core of the Herscherr of Destruction of the Previous Era. Himeko will somehow receive the memories of the Himeko of the previous Era and will let the New Era Himeko control her new Herscherr powers.
Now make a Support one and show CH's pinned at the top until HS hahaha

I first started playing around the game release but quit some time in 2017. When I got back into the game this month I was so lost on where all these new characters/battlesuits came from lmaooo
After HoT release , everything is become very crazy competitive 🙂
I began playing around the time Global was released (not on the actual release but a few months later) and honestly the pvp side of honkai has always been ridiculously competitive. In the days when Snowy was the king, it was almost a must to have her decked out just to retain in the lower parts of Agony because of the amount of people that couldn't retain RL on a weekly basis. Especially once you broke out of level 69 and into level 70. Like holy shit.
But fond memories, nonetheless.

Fu Hua and Bronya always has been a great help for me... No wonder why they're among my top favorites (DB augment core soon?)
As a cap that started on CH & Sakitama patch, I have to say the road has been long but joyful, even those times where I got killed by bleeding, cause even if it isn't a pleasant one, it will be one more memory for me of this outstanding game

I hope to see something like this for genshins yearly marks! its always amusing seeing how the meta can shift and also the trend of when power creeps happen possibly.
Yeah, but maybe it will be dificult because genshin dont have any leaderboard, like in honkai we know what valk be in meta from top score on every boss, but in GI the only "competitive" content is abbys and it doesnt show how good that unit is because we dont even know the exact score, team comp, or even the clearing time, i hope mihoyo make any other end game content for player at ar55+ , because rightnow abbys is feels like a joke.

I doubt we will have anything like that soon. Meta isn’t important in Genshin, nor is there a ranking system where you get better rewards with higher scores and you “compete” with other players. The spiral abyss is just extra content for you to basically see how strong your teams can be, but you won’t be rewarded for getting higher scores nor can you see other players' scores.
Well as for Genshin the abyss and viability shifts are not as prominent, Ganyu and Zhongli have never really gone up or down in usage. Genshin is a single player experience, so not much way to compare, so making something like this would be very hard (and also quite monotone)

Even if Genshin is much different, still I would love to see a video about META changes, just adjusted to Genhin's nature.
Honestly, I was such a new player when HoS came out that I would have never rolled for her at the time if it wasn't for Keeb's video on her. Game has been easy mode ever since and I very much appreciate how I don't have to struggle against a lot of content that would otherwise be very difficult without a big main dps.

I started playing few months ago, and Memento was first who dropped from dorm wishes. Also Haxxor banner was in place + I got a lot of Meme pieces from beginner eggs.. so now she is SS and with Haxxor doing pretty fine for me. I guess real game starts at 80+ level and then it will be gg for her >< anyway, when ice is not in disfavored position, she keeps me in RedLotus/0.1%, absolutely love her. (level68 currently)

i'm a new player (started at the end of 2020/2021), pretty much started when they gave out the free HoV. she's currently my strongest valk and the one i enjoy playing the most. i like the quick ranged hits, and the fact she can attack while moving. to hear that she was strongest at some point is mindblowing.

My first day on hyperion was on gyakushin and goushinso release. And unfortunately I didn't get Memento but I get miko who was surprisingly good in abyss then I started to use ss and she brings me to another level ! Yamabuki and Ranger was my first support back in the time.

Omfg all the memories i had struggling as an f2p player through all these years. My first main dps valk was Gyakushin Miko with her sakura blossom sword. I was maulding not getting Memento that time. Oh boi having Celestial hymn was a life saver early. I also remember not having oath of judah that time, crystals are very hard to earned those days but now as a pure f2p player, I'm always retaining at redlotus and top 10% on MA. It was breath taking to see this vid, brings back all the pain and happy moments in gacha.
