@MrGrouchy77 It was Pal yatch ee and was recorded with Spike Jones and his orchestra in Chicago probably in the early 50's. The really amazing part is that it's recorded live like most of thier stuff was.
@blackthornacacia, I'm pretty sure that this *is* a reissue of the original King 78. By this time, Homer and Jethro had been recording for RCA for several years.
H&J were denied permission to parody this tune so they decided to do a hillbilly version instead. They weren't denied a second time. Pretty funny stuff!
