One of my 'anchor' trees for the family zip-line didn't survive this same wind storm. Not a project I was planning, but will have to do some remedial work on the ZL here soon so we can use it again. Grapple envy is what I am suffering at the moment by the way.

You should have made one cut at the root of the tree and picked the whole thing up it certainly wouldn’t have any trouble with that tree I have the smaller tractor and mine would do it no problem you just made a lot more work and mess than necessary not being ugly just meant that tractor is plenty capable

Can it yes is it safe, no. That would be a good way to bend your cylinders or even lift arms and that's hard to see in video, but his is a pretty steep hill. Slower and more work is normally safer for the people and equipment. Time wasn't an issue. No one else was comming to do the job. But hay we all have out own ways.
