Ar Wa Natural Pink
Ikr!
ikr
Same!!😱
I've done 2 sets with this kit and I haven't quite gotten them right. I was excited to see you did a review and demo! Now I realize I've been using too much gel and making them too thick. Yours look gorgeous and natural!
thanks so much! glad you were able to learn from my video 😊
I have got a kit for Christmas and did the same I put way to much gel this video really helps
👍👍👍💭💭💭💯💯💯🤍🤍🤍😍😍😍
@@gabriellepinard3123 she used a light. She just didn't show it...she said she cured and removed the forms. Not sure why she didn't show it...thats a big step.
@@gabriellepinard3123 definitely not 3 minutes. Lol 30-60 seconds
I watched a lot (like A LOT) of polygel videos on youtube and you're the first I see mentioning the brush cleaning process. That's really important, thank you for that! Awesome video btw
I love about this video that finally someone is showing that other nail forms are beautiful too, not only the long stiletto nails! 🥰
i love your comment section, everyone is so supportive :)
yay! I'm so glad you posted a review on this! your videos are super helpful & full of great info especially now that I'm trying to decide between a polygel and dip powder nail kit!
I have been watching all sorts of videos on polygel application and I have to say yours is definitely the best! Not entirely sure what some people are doing in their videos, and whenever someone overclips their cuticle and actually cuts the eponychium as well it makes me cringe. Loved your video and you explained what you were doing and why so well. Can't wait to get my polygel kit now!
I loveee these, they look so natural ❤️
I love how natural they look 😍
I just bought this set and I came looking for a video just to make sure I don't mess them up. You did such a good job on your nails and the video! Very helpful!
I bought this about a week ago, can’t wait to try it out! Loveee how natural yours came out 😍
yay!! so happy you uploaded a polygel video!!
Good job! This is the best video I’ve seen. Very easy to follow along. Straight and to the point! Thanks!
This looks absolutely AMAZING
I love how natural you made your nails look like with the polygel. Thanks for reviewing this product. I have purchased the Makartt set and will be rewinding this video several times as I try it out this weekend. ❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
This set is so BOMB! 💗
Oh my gosh I’ve been doing the wrong thing and I was wondering why they were popping off it was because I didn’t apply the basecoat I’m so mad at myself, thank you so much for posting this
They look so beautiful and natural! You’re encouraging me to re-do my nails now lol
Same!
This was an excellent video. I will be ordering my kit TO-DAY!
They look so beautiful, you did a great job😻
Just bought the same kit! I’m excited! 😆💕
Edit: I got it...and I love it!! I have no experience with anything that has to do with polygel or acrylic! The first day I only did my left hand, it’s took 4+ hours no lie! The next day I did my right and it came out wayyyy betterrr then my left hand! It will get sticky everywhere but you’ll get use to it and get cleaner and better with time, but do not rush!!!
My favorite colors: dark pink and natural pink ;D
I ordered and can't wait to try it out. Great video.
I’m so excited to get this!!!
Thank you so much for this review, I was looking into purchasing it and I just bought it after watching this.
I just got this same kit, now it comes with a very nice case with the forms all assorted! Very nice touch- glad mine didn't all come in a bag lol
Could u do a video on how to properly remove these? Cuz I wore polygel one time, and I took them off wrong and it really messed up my natural nails.
yes! the removal will be in my makartt nail drill video coming soon :)
@@katesnails awesome!!! Can't wait!!
I had the same problem 😫😭
Use a 180 grit file and buff off top coat gloss.
Use 100% polish remover to soak 10 min
Use a wooden cuticle stick to push off polygel that is gooey.
Repeat if needed until all off. Wash hands & put cuticle oil on.
Andi’s Nails, buff top of nails to allow penetration of product, then use *100% acetone* on cotton balls or cotton pads places on top of the nail, then with the saturated cotton sitting on your nail you wrap the tip of your finger with either aluminum foil or nail polish clips to soak the nails in the 100% acetone soaked on the cotton. Regular nail polish remover (even 100% nail polish remover whatever that means) will NOT work. It has to say 100% acetone. That will work. It will not take 5 min. It will take a little longer. Be patient. It will come off eventually. You may have to rehydrate your cotton ball with acetone if it dries out.
Good instructional video and very helpful. I liked the shorter, natural look of the nail you created.
Soooo pretty. Hands down loved I hate nails that look straight up fake but urs looked natural. Goals 👌👌🤍 I'm gonna buy for sure
Wow! Hard to believe that was your first time with an e-file. Good for you!!
I love this review, now I need to get a set and try it out for myself, your nails came out so pretty and it looked very natural. So pretty.
How is it
Beatiful, looks so natural 😎😍
I love doing these kind so easy. I have never used my efile on them thou as jst a normal file does them . Lovely finish. X
Oh you did such a good job. Your nails look beautiful. 🌺
Johnny Mathis....you had me with your music choice....thank you for the tutorial. i'm going to buy this kit.
These are the perfect length, not all long and claw like. Great job.
This looks great, thanks for sharing! You have a lot of great videos!
You did an excellent tutorial but I must say that your natural nails were so beautiful! If they were mine I would not want to cover them up!
Great tutorial I love this super natural look.
Absolutely beautiful nails!! ❤️
Took me hours since it's my first time ever doing my nails
I love it... shaping took the majority of the time.
I did my first set today and they look decent! Not nearly as hard as I thought but I think a handheld UV or LED light would be better than the ones you stick your hand in to. I found it hard to get the forms to fit in my lamp without them shifting or popping up. The color is just a bit uneven and there’s some bubbles here and there but nothing you’d notice unless you were right up on them. If you’re scared to try this like I was, don’t be! They’re really easy once you get the technique down (:
I love your videos there are so informative and easy to watch
Just ordered 💅🏾🌸
Love the shape u did!
Wow I love this one too it looks really real nice and pretty easy too. If I try those and rock them at high school they'll ask if it's my real nails.
I have this kit and I had a terrible time trying to apply the dual forms without making a mess. I am practising and getting there. It's a good product though. You did a lovely job!
I had a terrible time too. I made such a mess and gel sticking all over the place. I'm going to keep practicing to so I don't have to spend so much money at the salon. Great product once you learn how to do it
Stupid question coming: If you mess them up what do you do?
Wow the look so natural especially when you don’t have the top coat on!
Dual forms look so easy to work with :D Really need to get me a kit too :3
They look SO easy! Almost too easy to be true haha
Beautifully done!
I love this kit!
Brilliant review nails look amazing tysmfs take care xxx
I AM NEW AND THANK YOU FOR TALKING BY STEP BY STEP WITH THAT
so cutee😍😍
I have the same kit. I've tried the dual forms following the directions but I love the polygel colors and the brush is my favorite. Perfect length! Thanks for sharing your video. Maybe I'll give them another try again.
Beautiful nails, great job. Thanks for the info, I just got my Makarrt kit.
How is it
I have this kit, The dual forms do not work for me. Instead I bought the sticky forms to go under my nails while I put the polygel on top and that made doing my nails 100% easier
dual forms don’t work for everyone. glad you found paper forms work!
Madonna Moya they’re the forms used when doing acrylic nails :) you can find them on amazon!
What’s the difference between dual forms and sticky forms
@@missestomlinson99 basically dual forms are what you see in the video. You put the product in, press it on your nails, cure it, and then pop them off. Sticky forms or paper forms are what is normally used for acrylic and builder gel. You have to peel the forms off the paper like a sticker, and there’s a hole where you put the paper forms under the nail, the stick the ends together kinda forming a cone like shape, then you use the produce to build the nail extension on top of your natural nail and pale form to extend it, cure it, and then peel the paper forms off. I hope that makes sense!☺️
They almost look like natural nails. Super job!
Your Voice is relaxing 🥺
Gorgeous!!
looks so easy. i just got the kit. i'll try it today, i hope i can make it
How did it go
@@missestomlinson99 I’m getting mine tomorrow it will be my first time. I’ll let you know how it goes
@@erinf2251 how did it go?
@@jadeklein5170 it was stickier than I expected 😅. But do NOT put too much slip solution or alcohol otherwise it wouldn’t stay on your nails, just get the brush damp and not sopping wet. Also I had to file the sides of the dual forms for some of my fingers because they were too big. But over all I have a good experience so far. Maybe I’ll try other brands but I’m happy!
@@erinf2251 thanks so much, that was super helpful😊 I’m gonna try this kit. have a good day!!
Cool! I have this and I like it.
love this
They look soooo Natural !!!!! 💖😍🥰😘
ps best video i found like this ty katesnails♥
nice!!! really good job!!
Hey Kate love you so much
Can you pls make more polygel videos they are so good 💗
Love your videos 🤗❤️
Very detailed and precise thanks
Beautiful, and great job on video also.
what beautiful nails! my nails do have a pretty big c curve, especially the pinkies :D tfs! 💜💜
I was doing mine wrong lol. Thanks for this tutorial. Then I put on my color street which I sell
So I’m Super late lol. But I love these! Definitely wanna try. How long do these last? Are they as “durable” as acrylic? What condition do they leave your natural nails in after removal? So many questions😩🤣.
After I put the base gel on, and cure it for 2 minutes, is it suppose to feel sticky and wet still?
Love your videos and love you
Hi 😊 I want to buy a poly gel set soon but I don’t know whether to go for makartt or modelones. Do you prefer one over the other? Love your videos btw
i’d have to say i prefer the makartt polygel slightly more just because of the smooth texture, however both are very comparable.
katesnails thanks for replying! Looking forward to my set 😊
Is there a specific rubbing alcohol you use? When I’m on like nail 4 the gel/alcohol mixes wrong and it doesn’t let me manipulate it or shape it after that
i either use my asp antibacterial spray or my yayoge slip solution. to stop that from happening, i would try to cut back on the amount of alcohol you are using.
I love how natural they look!! Want to buy this kit as well, but I’m from the Netherlands and I can only find them on Aliexpress. Does anyone know if this is the same kit or if this one is fake?
Love this video! You did such an incredible job at making them look natural! Quick question for anyone willing to answer. If I wanted to apply a color on top of the poly gel should I do that before or after the top coat?
hi! thanks so much. you should paint the color on top of the polygel before!
They look so natural
The c curve is actually the curve of the nail when you look at the tip of depending on the c curve, the nail can look wide or narrow. The curve your refer to in this video is more of the curve of the whole nail being at a downward shape. 😁
Well I tried it and hated it! Yours looks amazing though 😍
Do you have a video on how to fill these once they grow out? Or do you take them completely off and do a new set every time? Thank you!
i don’t have a video on how to fill polygel, however it can be done. normally i don’t keep them on long enough to need a fill, but if you were to do one it isn’t too hard. i would recommend looking up another video on youtube to see how :)
I want this❤️
I can’t be the only one that my makkart nail kit came with a little box that organized my nail forms it had it organized it already
Hi I totally love your tutorial 💯 so after I applied it how long I need to wait to use the regular nail polish on it 😊
once the polygel is fully cured, you’re good to go in with regular polish!
You get them really good, I do them so bad
it really just takes practice!
My cuticle shape is awkward and so the dual forms don’t fit well. Would it be wrong to file it so that it would fit for the future times or no?
no! you can definitely file them to fit!
These look sooo much than the long witch ones
After curing and finishing, did u have to wipe off with alcohol as the last step of top coat? Some top coat leaves sticky nail beds.
i don’t completely remember but i’m pretty sure this top coat was no wipe.
So beautiful girl 😍 well done
Great review
I have natural long nails that i use sns dip on could i use this on my long nails as a protector like sns?
yes! polygel is very strong and durable so it would be able to protect your nails just like dip :)
if you wanted to apply a coloured gel polish on these nails would you still buff over them to remove that shine after curing then apply polish then go ahead with the top coat?
yes! you would buff the surface of the polygel to make it slightly rough so that the gel polish adheres and then apply the gel polish followed by the top coat.
Beautiful
Will i need to use a dehydrator and a primer before starting this? I seen that those were not included in the kit..
hi! they are not necessary. i’d recommend just cleansing the nails with rubbing alcohol before application and that should do the trick!
Do you have to have an LED lamp when applying these to your nails
yes, otherwise the gel products will not cure.
Did you dehydrate before fieling the nail
Can you pls make more polygel videos they are so good love you
Now I want to run and buy this kit LOL
After curing the base coat will the nails be sticky and do you have to wipe them off before applying the dual forms?
they will be sticky however you do not need to remove the tacky layer before applying the polygel!
