I also think the transport system needs the most improvement here for tourism to get better. The islands are beautiful but backpacking can be a lot more difficult than in other countries.
Goodluck travelling the 7600+ islands...islands are meant to be islands...and there is a reason why they are called island....i wish its easy to travel to the north pole too for tourism to get better...

you should go toSIQUIJOR next, it’s lovely there. To get there you got to board a ferry from CEBU to DUMAGUETE and board another ferry to SIQUIJOR. Maybe after SIQUIJOR you can go to Bacolod and ILO- ILO. There are a lot of places and tourist spots you can explore along the way^^
