You may need to go into your settings choose audio, and make sure you choose it to PCM or Dolby or auto or digital. How was your sound bar connected HDMI or optical cable?
Great video! I would love to get your input on optimizing the EQ settings on a Hisense U8K. I have the Bass Boost on 5 and the EQ has 7 settings 100Hz, 250Hz, 600Hz, 1KHz, 2.5Khz, 6KHz and 10KHz. I would love to sneak a more Bass out of it along with a clearer dialog . Thanks so much!
Adjusting the 100 Hz setting on your Hisense TV's equalizer affects the bass frequencies in your audio, which are the deep, resonant sounds that give depth and fullness to music, movies, and other soundtracks. Setting this frequency to 70% enhances the low-frequency response, giving a more robust and noticeable bass effect. At 70%, you achieve a good balance, ensuring the bass is enjoyable without dominating or muffling other sound frequencies. This balance is key to achieving a unified and immersive audio experience, where every frequency contributes to the overall sound quality.
Whats the besy settings self for the equalizer? My background music is louder than the dialogue and i tey different ones to see if i could bring it up but nothing
So, 16Hz - 60Hz (Sub Bass) and 60Hz - 250Hz (Bass). In the case of the high end, we mean everything from 4kHz - 16kHz, especially 8kHz and over. I hope this helps.
Yes, you want to choose wall mount. Stand option uses the curve of the stand to send volume out at a lesser volume. Wall mount is a bit louder but more hollow sounding. Hope this helps. Please like and Subscribe!

@@user-bf2lj1fz7s Picture Mode for all content: Film Maker. I think this gives me the most accurate white point. Fomo seems to agree on that as well. I change a lot of settings after that though. Make sure the automatic light sensor is off or it will be way too dim in the daylight. If you are watching Dolby Vision Content, Film Maker Mode won't be an option so I use a customized version of the Dolby Vision IQ mode which I'll describe further below. Local Dimming: High. You would have to be in an extremely bright room or outside for you to want to put this on Medium in my opinion. High local dimming gives you great contrast. Brightness: I set this to 77 for SDR (low bitrate content, old shows and movies) and 100 for everything else like HDR and Dolby Vision. My TV is in a bright room and my recommendation for 77 on SDR is based on this. This setting is really up to you depending on how much light you have in your room. I would imagine you would want this setting to be anywhere in the range of 60-80. You will definitely want 100 brightness for all high bitrate content though. This means anything HDR, Dolby Vision, Imax etc. This will allow your TV to show those extra bright moments like sunshine in a dark cave or a fiery explosion at night. Contrast / Black Level: I use -1 for all content. Contrast is 46 by default on Film Maker Mode which I think is perfect and I haven't seen any need to go beyond that no matter what I'm watching. That being said, a proper calibration might show us something otherwise. Dark Detail: I leave dark detail off for everything. If your Dolby Vision is just too dark for you to see, it does help you see into the pitch black a little better. This setting essentially raises the black level and makes it brighter. Normally you wouldn't want that but if you feel that Dolby Vision is too dark, you can experiment with this. I still go -1 on the black level and leave it off so I can get dark blacks which I like. Gamma: I leave this on the standard bt.1886 which is default for film maker in SDR. I leave it on whatever the default gamma is for all of the other content as well. When in HDR or Dolby Vision IQ, the gamma will change automatically based on the content that you are watching. I've agreed with all of their default selections thus far. Active Contrast: off Tone mapping: off Low blue light: off Color: 54 (might need to turn down saturation on green and red in the color calibration screen. I turned Red saturation down by 2 on mine and I upped the flesh tone saturation by +2) Hue: 0 Color temp: Warm 2 (this might not be a popular opinion here as warm 1 typically gets the nod. I just feel that warm 1 really puts a yellow lens on everything and makes the color green super inaccurate in my opinion. Warm 2 is just slightly cooler but not as cool as standard mode. It’s been my favorite thus far for all modes. You can really see this in full effect on Dolby Vision Content. It's a pretty big difference and as an added bonus, it makes the picture slightly brighter. Color space: auto - you will see this pop over to native in certain formats. I leave it alone. I tried bt.2020 but I couldn’t take the over saturated reds and the pink skin tones. I can totally see using bt.2020. if you can pull off a solid calibration though. For those of us who aren't going to get one, auto is pretty solid. Clarity: I set sharpness to 5 for everything. You don’t want to over due this but you do need a little. Super resolution: Off. I personally do not like how this looks. It seems to make the motion choppy as well. For smooth gradient, noise reduction and mpeg: I have it all turned off for Dolby vision or HDR content. Basically leave it off for any good quality content. You don't need your tv processing extra items for high grade content in my opinion. However, I do find that “low” on all 3 of these settings really helps SDR content. It makes it look a lot less grainy, smoother and more modern. I only use this for old movies or dvd’s or RUclips tv etc. Nearly everything played from the auto tuner looks better with a little help from the tv's processor. Motion enhancement: this is subjective but I like custom and I set it to 4 judder and 7 blur. I find this to be a happy balance. You can go up or down 1 on the judder too but really just do whatever looks good to you. Blur reduction is also subjective. If it's set to 10 it tries to erase all blur which isn't accurate. If something moves super fast, it's a little blurry so to me that's accurate. It's also the default on most of the non customized settings so I went with it. Motion clearness: off. This is black frame insertion. Motion is smooth but the screen will get dim and it flickers. That's a hard pass for me. I hope you like these settings. Keep in mind that this is for the 75'' which has an IPS panel instead of the VA panel found on the smaller sized models. These settings will likely look a bit different on a VA panel. For those wondering about the performance of the IPS panel, I think it's fantastic. I can watch TV at some pretty extreme angles. I was doing dishes today in my kitchen nearly horizontal from my panel and it still looked pretty good. Black levels are also very good on the panel. I haven't compared the VA to the IPS side by side and I likely never will, but I can attest that I am extremely happy with it. I wasn't sold on it 100% from the moment I plugged it in, but I feel like I've found the settings that make this TV look really enjoyable to me. I hope this helps someone.
