Guess that is the same concept of a D3 where you roll a D6 and 1 or 2 is a 1, 3 or 4 is a 2, and 5 or 6 is a 3. You can extend the concept to D12 and D6s. But like D6s, a D10 is common enough roll you don't want people thinking about the math. We play a lot of Warhammer 40k. The less calculations the better when you are rolling a 100+ times a game.

can someone explain why d10's exist when you could just number a d20 one through ten twice? 🤔🤷♂️
