There is absolutely zero excuse in 2019 to deny evolution, with all the educational resources we have out there such as this video and many more alike. Anybody that says they deny evolution, at this point, I'd rather leave it as be and not talk to that person.

To be fair it’s only natural that people who grow up in areas where teachers either skip evolution or straight out teach creationism end up denying evolution. Many change their mind when they go to university and are exposed to real science but there’s little hope for those without critical thinking skills and living in an environment that perpetuates mythology over facts.

Even in countries (like ours) where science isn't poisoned by religion, this series is a "must-see" one !
I can even imagine these being subtitled one day, and used in our schools.
If Aron leaves only this series as his legacy (I know he does a lot more) it would be a legacy of immense format.

As cool as that would be, it is highly unlikely, I'd even say impossible, that stories of Gigantopethicus could have been embedded in the culture of modern humans. Gigantopethicus only possibly overlapped with H. Erectus in Central Asia, not modern humans. Modern humans would only have intruded into the former range of Gigantopethicus tens of thousands of years after it had died out, so this hypothesis relies not only on H. Erectus culturally preserving stories of Gigantopethicus for tens of thousands of years in a strictly oral tradition (by itself something pretty much unheard of even among modern humans) but also supposes a cultural exchange between H. Erectus and invading H. Sapiens involving extremely ancient tales being now preserved by a different species of human.
      - Yeah, it's just not gonna happen.

Aron, fantastic, as usual. I love the way you end these! Besides teeth, aren't our monkey unique? I'm pretty sure you said that earlier in the series. I love these so much, I periodically go back and re watch some. I can't wait for your 'reports' from, or footage after, your exciting trip and field work. An experience of a lifetime! 👏👏💓✌🎃

I love this series, I would really like to see the concluding episode with a brief recap of each clade in sequence along with those pithy comments that end each episode.

AMEN BROTHA!!!!! Kent Hovind, how about them bananas hahaha. seriously, aronra i am so thankful i learned of you here and began watching these classification videos, especially this one because having learned of my kinship with other animals in just this past 1 1/2yr , and videos like this makes me feel so special that we are truely part of a huge family here on earth. why theists cannot grasp this concept is that the ones who believe in a young earth just cant get it through their thick ape skulls that this planet has produced life for way plenty enough time to produce a creature like us who had it in our destination to become innovative, and even after the first creature built and used the first tool if that was even us, it still took this much time for us to figure out what we have so far to produce the technology we see today. young earth theists act like we had the knowledge right from the beginning to know how to invent and produce what we see in our present days. the truth is, if it werent for the smarts of only possibly a few dozen humans who invented a few certain important technologies and discoveries that were made like harnessing fire, electricity, radiowaves, and others, 99.99999999% of the rest of us would have just kept ourselves in the stoneage honestly. We all arent as smart as the few who are responsible for the what we call the high tech world we live in. we just learn from the few who were the smarter or smartest and use our witts to build upon these ideas and innovations. even someone in the old testament rebuked this arrogant behavior and attitude as vanity, ome humans thinking we are so much higher and special than other lifeforms, las if we are most important. we have been both the most empathetic, and most evil creatures towards our fellow life here that this planet has ever known, and some of the most despicable acts we have put upon our fellow creatures are torturing and killing innocent animals that already have it hard enough without us to survive, and sacrificing them to fucking imaginary invisible never been seen before characters in the sky.
