If you are just starting a sketchbook, remember it doesn't have to perfect at all. You don't need to noticeably improve and you don't need a masterpiece on every page! Have fun, don't worry about the looks or perfection, and remember you don't need to be the best at art to draw or use it a sketchbook

Your cat made me subscribed 😆 (kidding aside) I just want to thank you for making me feel 'okay' and ready to take new challenges when it comes to art. I’m currently exploring the crazy world of realism 😅 this means ignoring my instinct to do line art and my cartoon realism style but!!! I’m improving!!!!
You don't need one :) Just grab a piece of paper. Don't let that stop you creating (that is the key point, not the materials you are using)!!! I am mostly working on single sheets of papers. For me sketchbook is for drawing "not home". Limited space/time/utensils.
@@allexah8551 yes, I know 😊 although my sketchbooks are usually messy 😅 because I use them for sketches, mostly very raw ones, just to keep an idea in fixed on the go. I like to organise my work by source of inspiration anyway, with single sheets is that easier for me. Everyone should use what they prefer, but I just got sick of these comments "I don't have...." and wanted to write something encouraging about using other surfaces than fancy sketchbooks 🙄 (and also other materials, like expensive markers, pencils, paints - you don't need them to get started) and again I want to stress: it is just my opinion. I also dislike the idea of the how to fill your sketchbook- tutorials, because in my opinion that's just wasting materials. Filling for the filling's sake is nonsense. Draw to practice, to have fun, to release stress, to express your emotions, whatever, but for God's sake don't pressure yourself to fill a book. You'll be finished when you'll be finished. It is not a race 😅 (yes, I know you didn't say that I just wanted to write it out for so long, and if it helps someone, it is worth it)
Thank you! I got alot out of all your video!! I couldn't decide what to draw. I thought I had to pick something and stay with that. Now I can try anything 😊

saaamee 😭
Aah my mom found my super depressed, suicidal drawings (literally me wanting to end it all put together in drawings) a few weeks ago, she came in the living room with my sketchbook like:" What the heck is this???" And interviewed the fuck out of me. The feels are not to describe, it sucked so mf much :0
THIS IS SO GREAT.THANK YOU JESS🥰🥰🥰
admire your skill and enthusiasm to help others improve
Your cat made me subscribed 😆 (kidding aside) I just want to thank you for making me feel 'okay' and ready to take new challenges when it comes to art. Ever since I took up art class things turned up complicated, it made me constrict to do anything about art. That made me stop doing art (except in school works) but now that my course in college is related to art, I'm trying to gain my confidence back on the track.
I'm starting tomorrow to fill up my ooooolddd sketchbook. 😊
New cool and neat book Rocket Randy out now! Experience the groundbreaking story of a boy that becomes a rocket ship. Buy, read, be enlightened. Thank you!!
O.o
wut
I was literally just drawing and this popped up. It really made me happy! This is going to be so useful in the future.
I really want to do the 100 heads challenge but i want to get better at other things that are more important to me in my art first. : )
great!! enjoy :)
I took your advice to challenge myself by drawing 100 of things I have been learning. I am currently learning the Loomis Method for drawing heads and I have been filling pages with noses and eyes. I can see a drastic improvement in my sketches and just want to say "thank you" for the idea to set a goal of 100 each. It gave me a goal to work toward as well as a feeling of accomplishment when I finished.
Since I can't get myself pick up my pencil and sketchbook
I decided to watch some art tips and stuff
Thank you, i kinda feel better now lol
Since I'm stuck I can't create something 🤦🏻♀️ but after watching your vid gives me a bit of inspiration
Usually I find videos like these to have the same good concepts, but this video really made me think more and just watching this made me scared because I don't like to get out of my comfort zone. I don't like using new mediums such as paint or coloured pencils/markers because I'm more of a graphite person, but then I thought, "how can I get any better at art if I don't challenge myself and explore??". In the end this video really inspired me and I'm certain that I will take these tips. (*ˊෆˋ*) Thank you!

See beautiful and detailed arts like yours maybe could makes me feel unable in the start, because looks so hard. But, happens the opposite: the way you talk and inspire me let me excited to try more and more until I can do great arts like you! Serious, you are so talented and incrible! Thanks to share it with us!
Thank you so much!! I am so happy to know :)
She inspire me to fill my sketchbook 🙏tks u so much😘
I’m currently exploring the crazy world of realism 😅 this means ignoring my instinct to do line art and my cartoon realism style
but!!!
I’m improving!!!!
Me: gets exited to use these ideas
Also me: Oh yeah, I don’t have a sketchbook
You don't need one :) Just grab a piece of paper. Don't let that stop you creating (that is the key point, not the materials you are using)!!! I am mostly working on single sheets of papers. For me sketchbook is for drawing "not home". Limited space/time/utensils.
@@katalinelo8011 yeah but having a sketchbook feels better
And beautiful
And clean and organized
So ooon
It is not a race 😅 (yes, I know you didn't say that I just wanted to write it out for so long, and if it helps someone, it is worth it)
@@katalinelo8011 💛😃And I respect that
Me: *tries to draw for myself*
My family: *shows it to everyone in family gatherings*
Sometimes it’s awkward because Yaoi is superior. *ahem*
I feel you at a cellular level in acrylic medium.
