this is so helpful. I have that sweater and I never wear it. It feels so frumpy to me but you've styled it beautifully. I'd love to know more about the shoes and bags you showed. I'll look through your videos and see if I can find the info. Thank you!
@@heatherjohnson955 so glad it was helpful. Hope you can enjoy wearing yours more 😊 if there are any shoes/bags in particular you’re looking for let me know. Some may be second hand or old season but any I can share links for I will xx
Hi Gemma , your not helping my no buy February , I’ve considered this cardigan forever, my 2 thoughts were which colour, the ost one your wearing or the rusty chestnut one . Dilemmas😅 my second thought was would it wash well, you’ve answered that, so thank you and my third thought, would I be able to style it multiple ways. You’ve answered that too. Why did you choose the oat colour??? And now I’m hoping it’s still available in March😅😅😅
Aw sorry, well the great thing about it is that’s it’s always in stock so even waiting til the end of your no buy you’ll still be able to get it. I think I just liked the soft beige colour and thought it would be most versatile, sort of goes with all my colours. I love a chestnut brown too but it’s not as versatile, although is a great option. I think it depends on what colours are in your wardrobe and what colours you enjoy wearing more. You know how some colours make you feel SO good when you look in the mirror, that’ll be the one 😊 xx
The content and quality of your videos is so good! I really hope you keep making videos and growing this channel😃 Its so nice to see content made to encourage sustainability rather than just ad pitching!
Thank you for the super review! Do you think this color goes well with a light blue shirt? Is it a warm or cold beige? I'm wondering about this color versus light gray.
It’s definitely not a warm beige, but I don’t think it’s too cool either. It’s a bit of an inbetween tone. I love it with denim so I think it looks great with blue. With grey it may just be personal preference x
I have sensitive skin and always cut off tags and labels from my clothes because they bother me too much. This cardigan is itchy for me, where as cashmere feels nice against my skin. So... for those with sensitivity for certain fabics, it can be itchy.
Yes I could definitely see it being itchy for those with sensitive skin. I know my Mum can’t wear anything with real wool as it also irritates her nose. Cashmere will always be my favourite !! Xx
I love all the outfits you came up with. It really is a versatile piece, especially in that colour, such looks great on you. You might find though that just because you love this one, it doesn't mean you need to buy another one (when your no buy year is up). Hannah Louise Poston has some interesting thoughts on wanting another version of what you love in a different colour, and how it may not always be a great idea. I can't think of one specific video to refer you to on this subject as it comes up a bit, but all of her content is useful for people on no- or low-buys
Thanks so much! No I don’t think I’ll buy another colour of this style, probably a different kind of cardigan or jumper. I’ve found that in the past for myself it just doesn’t work out the same as that first piece. Xx
Glad you covered this because honestly every time I see you wear this tan cardigan in a video (I could be wrong but I feel like I’ve seen you wear this exact one in previous videos) I always think how fantastic it looks and that I want it. This confirmed that I need some sezane knit. I don’t even have the same style as you but I have learned so much from you and I love your elegance and way of explaining why you make the choices you do!
The cream jeans are from Mango, about 2 years ago, so no link unfortunately. They were full length but I hemmed them myself to ankle length. These look similar but are still full length rstyle.me/+gpf-M8fs-vkz76d1DWoFtA or these rstyle.me/+Hu1UV90FiT2wmM7VRojZPw xx
Hello Gemma, you looks sexy on the look 7! May I ask which coat is it in look 7? Can you please share the brand and name of that coat please? Thank you!❤
Thank you! Unfortunately I don’t have a brand for it, I found it at second hand and doesn’t have a brand label inside. There are quite a few similar styles around at the moment, this one is similar > rstyle.me/+yxWJfLHtacFoWl5kL_hBLQ , and this one from ASOS rstyle.me/+WaVoykft0iOe-kE8QL8bsg xx

Can you share what size you bought, does it come up big?
Yes I popped this in the description, I got a small, and I’m normally a S/uk8. Probably could have fit an XS but didn’t want a slim fit. X

Love this! Would you mind sharing where your black bag in the last outfit is from?
It’s from the brand Kassandre Paris, I found it in TKMaxx x
