Majima would ANNIHILATE kiryu if they crossed paths in 0
@@Ro-fw3lcI realize this is pretty old, but- counter argument: In terms of skill, there’s nothing that necessarily suggests Majima outclasses Kiryu, they just have different fighting styles. Consider that Kuze, a former professional boxer, stated that Kiryu wasn’t half bad. Sure, Majima has more fighting experience on his belt, but you could say the same thing for many of Kiryu’s tougher opponents (and not just in 0), namely Kuze whom Kiryu is shown to outclass in strength and skill. As for feats, I don’t think it’s fair to automatically assume Kashiwagi > Kiryu at the time. I’m sure he could mop the floor with Kiryu and Nishiki when they were younger, but we only ever see Kashiwagi beat on a 20 year old Kiryu who simply takes it, as was custom since Kashiwagi massively outranks him. Same goes for Kuze until Kiryu starts fighting back. Kiryu and Lao Gui never actually got the chance to have a proper battle, Lao just caught Kiryu off-guard and called it a night. And then there’s Awano… Kiryu seems roughly on par with him initially, in terms of brute strength at least. We later see Awano feels the need to use a gun to threaten Kiryu. Now perhaps that’s just how Awano typically operates, but he certainly didn’t give Majima the same treatment. Could be because he wanted to test his might against a known legend, who knows. Regardless, we know Kiryu beats the breaks off of Shibusawa who quite literally cucked Awano not long prior by mere intimidation alone. All in all, I’d say the reasonable conclusion is either Kiryu and Majima are more or less on par, or it’s unknown how they scale to each other.
No, Kiryu knows it's wrong but he needed to have contact with a person there to progress in the thing he was interested in, and he had to bring the kid in because she has an item that the local gangs and yakuza are after, so it wouldn't be safe to leave her alone.
