Awww thank you!! I posted last Thursday too (I hope you saw that one!), but the 4th of July holiday did push this one out by a day unfortunately. I'm never sure if it's good to post on a holiday or not, but I enjoyed having the extra day to put some extra love in this video. I'm really proud of it because it's such a fun Victorian Adventure 💕 I hope you had a lovely holiday! Missed you too though and I have SO many fun things coming up omg! You're going to love it all xoxox have a fab weekend, my fab friend! ❤
Oh, so much beautiful decor...I love the closet refresh, adding the childhood items was perfect.
I still have my very first Steiff Bear, he's almost 75 years young!
Thank you for taking me back to the Haas-Lilienthal House! After enjoying lunch at Lovejoy's Tea Room, I toured that spectacular home.
Some of the nostalgic pieces I have incorporated into my decor are my childhood tea sets.
I've mixed them in with my mother's teacup collection.

Wow I Love this Victorian Home! I am a collector. I collect 100 year old plus baby pictures in beautiful ornate frames. My kids don’t like them. They say mom why do you want those pictures of kids you don’t know? I told them they are somebody’s baby and they are a form of art. I Love what they are sitting or what’s around them. Plus I’m preserving history. Someone has to do it. I think they are very Victorian. Well I started picking them up here and there about 25 years ago. It seems they are not as plentiful now. So I must not be the only one collecting them. I collect the little bronze baby shoes also. When I was a kid people would send their child’s first pair of shoes to a company and have them bronzed. They are a thing of the past , and getting hard to find. I also have a lot of Home Interior figurines of boy and girl or man and women. They were sold in the 80s . I think all these things would fit in. Not sure what you think. I kind of call my decorating Victorian Country. I Love the Feminine Decor. Sorry for running on so much. The bronze baby shoes and Home Interior figurines also sound like wonderful additions to a Victorian Country decor style. Your collection must bring so much warmth and nostalgia to your home. I think your decorating style sounds perfectly lovely and very fitting for the Victorian era with a country twist.

@@bonnieallen3775 today is all computarized, I have some from my family and two darregeotype ones abd of course sone from the 30-90ths in old photo albums. I start buying some figures too, for my channel live them too.

Allie Darlin, loved your video! I wanted to share with you that I went thrifing the other day and found a book I think you would love too. It is by one of my favorite authors, Sarah Ban Breathnach. The book is "Mrs. Sharp's Traditions, Reviving Victorian Family Celebrations of Comfort and Joy". It is a book written as if the author lived in that era, finding a life of simple abundance. "Simple Abundance " is another great book by her that reads as a day book for current times. Sending

Hii Alli, good video, I do decorate that way too, two months ago I found a perfume of AVON that I remember I had my grandma boughted, is a cat witha fan with her case for $2. I place it with my others perfumes, now I will ck for two more😊. I have also my childhood doll and plusshy well is more a chenille and is a lion in my bedroom decor. Yhe other day bought two figures, his and her fingers some are missing and I hidding that wiyh a tiny rose and the girl I place a button mimic a icecream and a lace 😊handkerchif. Your childhood doll and plush lion must add such a nostalgic touch to your bedroom. The way you've creatively fixed those figures is so charming-I love the idea of using a tiny rose and a button to hide imperfections. I do that too because it's so sad to have to part with a piece because it is damaged. One of my biggest pet peeves is when I think something isn't broken, but then I get home to wash it and notice the glue as soon as it hits the water. My fault for not checking thoroughly, but I also like to try to find creative ways to fix them. If only I was a professional porcelain fixer! Enjoy your lovely Sunday and happy decorating! 🌸😊✨

i don't understand your bright white walls instead of victorian wallpaper or a deep rich colored wall. those white walls throw off the whole look.
Appreciate you sharing your thoughts! I'm not sure if you're referring to my personal home decor, or the Victorian Home decor that I was touring in the video. Regardless, my home decor is a blend of different styles that bring me joy and reflect my personal taste. Everyone should decorate their space in a way that makes them happy and feels true to them. After all, your home should be a reflection of your unique personality and style 🙂
