MY though was ok, we shall have Salah to not chnage many things in Slot 1st season and then next season get a Mohammed Kudus or Johan Bakayoko. But Damn , the Egyptian Snipper is proving me wrong day in an day out. Like fine wine, he gets better with age. And Slot System gave me a boost is bringing new dimensions to his game. DARE I SAY, Short Hair Salah is an Assassin and we are seeing traits of Messi (when he was post 32 yrs), the way Salah is evolving. Short Hair Salah under Slot = Assassin - Deadly Snipper OUR EGYPTIAN SNIPPER We should sign him on a two year contract with a 3rd as option (which Liverpool can trigger based on performances). Also - Mo has 4 lungs with the amount of running and chasing he can do.
Mo's fitness must be off the charts for Arne to play him the way he has so far. And he played a lot in preseason. Salah still has a lot left and the short hair must give him more aerodynamics!

From the performances this season up to now, have been nothing short of breath taking. First time in his Anfield career (might be wrong about this) that he has 3 goals & 3 assists in his first 3 games. What could his end of season numbers be if he keeps up this form. Premier League be warned be scared be very very scared. He is going to be well managed this season especially with Frederico Chiesa coming into the squad. He can now be rested when we are winning & even give up some starts up in favour of Chiesa. 2 year extension with option of a 3rd year. Give it to him nowwww! As always great content again. 97
i think the players can smell the success to come and want to be part of it. arne has enthused them with his aura and skill . as good as kloppo is the players think arne s the man for silverware. i have watched so many utd debriefs since sun and people are stunned , presence of greatness type of stuff by arne 's skill and swagger. there is a chiesa style infectious smile spreading around here where i live at the arne league prospect i got pelters for saying mo should stay last season, incredible attitude to him last season. people said he's losing his edge and should move on for cash, forgetting he is beyond a liverpool player he has legendary numbers so he has earned the right to end it on his terms. most fans are sooo fickle they flip flip on anyone after 2/3 bad games.
You are so right in your comment about Salah. He is in his prime & that is clear to see. They way Slot wants to play is only going to preserve Salah & pre long his longevity. Virgil is in the same mould. I'm.sure he is doing the same as Salah. Slots tactics & setup looks to the layman the same for the past 3 games but they haven't been he has made a few subtle tweaks to give our AWESOME LFC the advantage. He eats drinks sleeps & more than likely craps football tactics & can adjust the team to suit the opposition. That big test will come when we face Real Madrid followed by Man City. I just want to mention that Arne gave Salah the freedom to play closer to the box when necessary as Salah did not have to cover defensively for Trent when Trent bomb forward in their triangle set pieces back under Klopp......that tactic only work IF Hendo was fit to cover for Trent as well. Under Arne, Trent stay back....and just focus on defensive duties. It was Szobo, Macca and Ryan that start the press. Noticed how Diaz still stayed wider close to the line....but if Salah and Diaz made their run, they look for each other...Jota switched to the false 9 role..defensive wise. Jota became Bobby2.0. And I dare say, Salah role under Slot, is similar his AS Roma days..where Salah was a traditional winger and instructed to provide service to Dzeko..who was a excellent striker (imo...underrated...he deserved more credit).......and in his 2nd season in Roma, Salah was told by Totti or De Rossi .....to take the shot IF he was in a better position than Dzeko....and Salah went crazy😂😂😂.......lucky for Roma, Dzeko is such a humble guy and he is also an underrated playmaker......he assist Salah often....and he was a luxury box striker like haaland. He can make astronomical money in Arabia. If that would drive him, he would have been gone already. I think what drives him most is winning more big prizes and playing an important role in this winning team and have pleasure. He realizes that he doesn’t have that many years on top level left. So where to go? The answer is: Nowhere (apart from Real Madrid 😂). He saw what happened his team since Slots arrival and (starts to) believe that the new coach is doing the right thing, that his mates are great players, the momentum and flow of the team and that they can win the big prizes together. Why do I think that? He is super motivated and is better than ever, he trust the new coach and vice versa. (Slot in an interview about Mo: ‘You want my opinion about MO’s skills? Do you have two hours?’) If it’s right what I guess he will sign soon, because the conditions for him staying have been fulfilled more or less already. What else?, Slot/ the management can indeed consider to discuss/offer a role for Salah after his active career. An ambassadors role may be smt?. He can be or is already a great a Mr. Liverpool after all. This would show respect to his loyalty and long experience with the club. Respect is important. Salah is such a strange player to watch though. You watch him in games and he has the worse touch, dribbles straight into a defender and loses the ball, some bad passes and you would think he is an average player. Then he does some magic in the game and a few good things and you look at his stats after the game and he has 1 goal and 2 assists 😂
